It’s also the same Party that has thrown away £120 million of tax payers hard-earned cash, wasted on the utter failure that is the ‘Festival of Brexit’. The National Audit Office is now working with a parliamentary committee investigation.

Like the bloody Garden Bridge all over again

no one ever changes the mechanism that allows them to piss money up the wall.

TrashyPanda · 20/10/2022 18:14

The fuss about parties etc was totally unnecessary - I don't know anybody who cared about that

I don’t know anyone who didn’t think that was a fucking disgrace and that the fat lazy arse should have been kicked out.

WalkingThroughTreacle · 20/10/2022 18:14

He's worse than a joke. He lied repeatedly during his time in office, and indeed throughout his adult life. Time and again, lie, deny, blame someone else then announce dismissively that it was time we all just moved on.

I can tolerate politicians whose policies I disagree with, that's democracy. I cannot tolerate a politician who has absolutely no integrity, and that sums up Boris.

I actually don't blame him so much. He's never been smart enough to get away with his dishonesty so you know exactly what you're getting with him. I blame his party who selected him as party leader, and thus PM, and then continued to enable and support him long, long beyond the point where they had run out of excuses for him. He is just a lying, incompetent chancer. They are collectively corrupt to the core.

I'd prefer a prime minister who can keep his trousers on and doesn't have lots of children with several different women.

Agree that a non-adulterer as PM would be rather refreshing.

Our open-ended support has greatly increased energy costs for 500 million people across Europe and caused grain shortages in large parts of Africa.

Think you meant 'The illegal Russian invasion of Ukraine' there.

Have the sanctions hurt Russia or others the most?

There is no doubt that Russia invaded, but the EU and the UK have managed to punish their own citizens more effectively than they have Russia.

Reigateforever · 20/10/2022 18:15

How many holidays has Boris had this year .. so far?

lifeissweet · 20/10/2022 18:16

If Boris is the best option, we need to burn the lot down and start again.

I want someone with more moral integrity than Boris.

I know that sets the bar really low.

Springblossom2022 · 20/10/2022 18:17

Honestly, it's an absolute joke. You couldn't make it all up. Hopefully it's nonsense and Boris doesn't come back. We need a general election and we need it now. This is an absolute car crash of a government with no care in the world for anyone but themselves and their rich mates

I don't care they are different mums, I want one that isn't contributing to overpopulation

but pigs aren't going to fly either.

there's not much point me voting, perhaps the next GE will be the last one I bother with.

This. They partied whilst we were banned from the bedsides of our dying loved ones. Sickening.

Boris is on a plane right now. He is coming back to take soundings from MP's. JRM is sounding out ERG group for block support. At the moment apparently 10 MP's have publicly given their support for Boris. 6 each for Sunak and Maudant. I would love Boris to come back. He got us those vaccines before Europe got them, allowing us to get out of lockdown. He supported people through pandemic with furlough. He got us out of EU. He saw off Corbyn and I would buy him a bloody big cake if he came back. He was elected on mandate of getting Brexit done, green jobs and levelling up. He should be given the remaining two years to see if he can make progress on these areas. I was listening to interview on the radio the other day with a city mayor. He said the leveling up money has only recently arrived and now his council will be considering how it is to be spent. I hope it goes to children who get free school meals for food in all school holidays.

He lied to us about NHS funds. Brexit is far from done.

Do you think Russia is winning?! What do you think morale is like there right now where they have wives googling how to injure their husbands so that they aren't conscripted to fight because the regular army has been killed?

Jeez.

baroqueandblue · 20/10/2022 18:20

Fuck me but the standards of people who are agitating for the Return of Bozo are so far through the floor it's frightening. Not to mention desperate. The national psyche is on life support after Trussonomics and you think that sinister clown is the answer to our prayers?

Beam me the fuck up, Scotty 🛸

blackpearwhitelilies · 20/10/2022 18:20

Dodie66 · 20/10/2022 16:18

He’s on holiday at the moment.

Of course he is.

he insisted on remaining PM all over the summer and did absolutely fuck all.

SquirrelSoShiny · 20/10/2022 18:21

I'm watching the news and the Boris love. I actually watch it and think humanity is so stupid that as a species we probably deserve to quietly disappear from the earth.

Dontjudgeme101 · 20/10/2022 18:22

Chateaudiaries · 20/10/2022 16:18

That will make our status as an international laughing stock complete.

It’s too late for that! 😂

Skyellaskerry · 20/10/2022 18:22

Tories will be looking now to who they think could just help them cling onto power so it wouldn’t surprise me. Also he will claim he’s the only one with a mandate, and that by selecting him again will prevent the ‘what another PM’ criticisms until the next GE, and then all the ridiculous red wall boris love will begin again.

worriedatthistime · 20/10/2022 18:22

@CaptainMyCaptain I think people are allowed annual leave, sure you go on holiday and have time of work

walkingonsunshinekat · 20/10/2022 18:23

If he stands, he is doing so because he knows he will win, he hasn't come back from Hols to be an also ran.

He has support from the party members and far less from the MP's

So he'll be out before too long, remember Sunak's resignation letter and all the others who resigned.

Does anyone think they'll stay quiet?

Butchyrestingface · 20/10/2022 18:23

i actually liked Boris but he made a lot of mistakes

I'm calling it - TROLL! 😉

Portillista · 20/10/2022 18:24

I don't care that Boris had parties during lockdown (I had them too). But I do care that he completely screwed the economy by having a lockdown at all. It was so bloody obvious that this would be the outcome. For that, and for Brexit, he deserves to be exiled to his own Circle of Hell.

So no, not Boris.

worriedatthistime · 20/10/2022 18:26

@overtaxedunderling what did you suggest we do then just sit back and do nothing

Curiously the daily mail comments all the top ones are baying for him to come back with thousands and thousands of up ticks. The love for sunak is clearly missing, the rest don’t even rate a mention. No one really gives a shit about boris partying or his womanising it seems. It seems to be also recognised He is the candidate labour fear most.

I reckon boris is coming back . He will be pm a week on Friday.

na - Rishi 5/6 Penny 28/11 Johnson 6/1 - Rishi it is.
