'Why do they always give Trump the sniffy microphone?'

Establishment. They have someone backstage turning the volume up everytime he breathes in.

He had a genuinely bad Mike last time

What's going on claig

WinchesterWoman · 10/10/2016 03:04

Apart from the Mike - more details welcome

claig · 10/10/2016 03:05

It seems OK this time, they are not up to their usual tricks.

Grin

Anderson got him good about the federal taxes, she should have gone in for the kill there.

WinchesterWoman · 10/10/2016 03:06

No but in the debate: is it a game-changer or same old same old

claig · 10/10/2016 03:06

So far I think Trump is winning but it depends if you believe her answers. I doubt the majority do because they are just like any politician "all talk no action".

Have the moderators managed to stay neitral

claig · 10/10/2016 03:08

'is it a game-changer or same old same old'

same old same old, but Trump is ahead. Not a gamechanger.

He hasn't really attacked. He is playing diplomatic. He said if he wins he will get an attorney to look at prosecuting her, but that is the most he has said.

OP posts:
WinchesterWoman · 10/10/2016 03:08

So not a game changer? If you believe her, you believe her: if you're for trump, he's looking ok?

claig · 10/10/2016 03:09

'Have the moderators managed to stay neitral'

Trump calls them out for interrupting him or as he said "3 against 1" if they try anything, so he is keeping them on their toes.

Surely if it's not a game changer/trump collapse that is really a loss for hc

claig · 10/10/2016 03:11

' If you believe her, you believe her: if you're for trump, he's looking ok?'

Yes. No gamechanger. Enough for Trump fans, but no difference for independents because Trump is ahead but not significantly.

Considering the tape he should be cleaning out his locker. But it sounds like they're slugging it out like last time with everyone dissatisfied?

CousinCharlotte · 10/10/2016 03:11

He asks how stupid is our country ?
Pah, He's clueless!

WinchesterWoman · 10/10/2016 03:12

Thanks - interesting

claig · 10/10/2016 03:14

'Surely if it's not a game changer/trump collapse that is really a loss for hc'

Yes, but it won't last because there are rumours that the Establishment are preparing to hit Trump with much, much more "worse tapes etc and some false stuff mixed with it in teh days to come and that will ean he is constantly on the defensive with the entire media against him so it will be tough. Most people have already made up their minds, but he has to win the undecideds and this is no gamechanger.

OP posts:
WinchesterWoman · 10/10/2016 03:14

I guess the ratings went down after the first 20 minutes

WinchesterWoman · 10/10/2016 03:16

I thought it would be a game changer for hc if anyone

I think a lot of the polled undecideds and Gary Johnsons are trump suprters already

claig · 10/10/2016 03:16

'But it sounds like they're slugging it out like last time with everyone dissatisfied?'

Yes, if you believed her "politician speak" before you will still believe it now and if you preferred Trump before, you will prefer him now. So nothing has changed. He has survived the leaked tapes but that is all.

He uses language in the most crass way possible. Everything is 'horrible' or 'not nice'. Everything he says is about criticising Hilary Clinton not about him and his policies. He is full of shite.

I am not convinced by her but as I read somewhere today ' Clinton lies like a politician. Trump lies like an alcoholic'

He also sniffs like a coke addict.

claig · 10/10/2016 03:18

'I guess the ratings went down after the first 20 minutes'

Yes, people have probably switched off. It is not riveting. Trump is still in the contest, Hillary has not knocked him out. But the Establishment are preparing to hit him after the debate in the media.

OP posts:
WinchesterWoman · 10/10/2016 03:20

Yes the hypocrisy over the sniffing will also drive people deeper in to trumps thrall - Hillary collapses - wild responses, brain freezes. etc - no big deal, nothing to see. Trump sniffs - oh my god stop with that, what is that, is he on drugs, my god why does he do that the whole time, what's the matter with him etc etc

claig · 10/10/2016 03:20

'He uses language in the most crass way possible. Everything is 'horrible' or 'not nice'.'

Yes, he is not a politician, he keeps the language simple.
