Oh, Ohio seems to have turned the past few days, from having Trump in front for most of September.

The debate will be crucial.

Lweji · 09/10/2016 22:37

WinchesterWoman

I know which thread I'm posting on. Just bringing it back to the actual presidential elections and not side issues not even in the US.

WinchesterWoman · 09/10/2016 22:42

I don't know what you think are side issues - the role of the media and tonight the moderators? Yes, I really don't think they are side issues and nor do most people following the debate. You might think they should be side issues: but if they are issues for trump supporters and waverers then Clinton supporters really ought to give them a passing glance at least.

claig · 09/10/2016 22:42

'Claig: he has to be careful he doesn't put hillary in the victim corner'

Yes, but the problem is that they have much more to hit Trump with in the coming days. They are the Establishment and if Trumop wins it is curtains for the lot of them, so they have to win whatever the cost. That is why Trump has no real option but to defeat them now because otherwise they will come for him in the coming days. They are the Establishment, they don't fight fair so Trum has to deal with them now.

Ok well I'll take your word for it

Lweji · 09/10/2016 22:44

the role of the media and tonight the moderators

I didn't say that.
But the Guardian and UK MPs are hardly relevant here.

WinchesterWoman · 09/10/2016 22:50

Oh yes the UK troughers were a derail but not the Guardian because someone posted a link to de niro. Though that was possibly indeed on the other thread.

fourmummy · 10/10/2016 00:05

Oh yes the UK troughers were a derail

Not a derail but a timely example of how hypocrisy angers people. Watch support for grammar schools go through the roof in the same way that Winchester predicts that Trump's appeals to the prejudicial effects of hypocrisy in relation to his transgressions (but no-one else's) will give him an uplift.

Winchester UK troughers Grin

LineyReborn · 10/10/2016 00:11

So American Republcan men are suddenly pretending to give a shit about women?

CousinCharlotte · 10/10/2016 00:21

True Liney

WinchesterWoman · 10/10/2016 01:01

Liney and the Democrats. I think they're pretending right now but it will very quickly dissipate.

claig · 10/10/2016 01:58

Tucker Carlson has just said Trump has "decided to go all the way ... he has basically decided to attack the entire American Establishment".

He just held a conference with Juanita Broaddrick, Kathyryn Willey, Paula Jones and the woman who was raped when she was 12 years old where Hillary defended the man who raped her.

The four women will be sitting in the audience.

I didn't hear what they said because Fox did not show it. They may have shown it earlier, I don't know, because I fell asleep earlier on.

claig · 10/10/2016 02:02

Roger Stone said a few hours ago that he has been told that Hillary will not shake Trump's hand and then one of the moderators, Anderson Cooper, will ask her the first question of why did you not shake Trump's hand and that will give her the chance to attack Trump.

Lweji · 10/10/2016 02:07

You can feel the tension among the Trump children and for Melania, whilst the Clintons look relaxed.
Trump goes first behind the chair, as if for protection.

FabFiveFreddie · 10/10/2016 02:08

I've already switched it off. Can't hear either of them, they both make my blood boil. They should be ashamed of themselves, both totally lacking in decorum.

Lweji · 10/10/2016 02:13

Q: you bragged about sexually assaulting women...
A: you didn't understand what I said there. Shock
And ISIS, and immigrants, and whatever...

"nobody has more respect for women than me" - That would be very sad if true.

FabFiveFreddie · 10/10/2016 02:23

Ok haven't switched off. This is ridiculous. It's schoolyard tit for tat. These are candidates for the us fucking presidential election!! Where is the respect??

Definitely switching off now.

claig · 10/10/2016 02:29

Trump winning so far. She is just usuing the usual "politician speak".

OP posts:
CousinCharlotte · 10/10/2016 02:41

Don't discount her yet Smile

NightWanderer · 10/10/2016 02:42

He makes my skin crawl.

He's still sniffing. What is that about?

I think she's better just ignoring him and saying her piece, which is what she seems to be doing. He wants to bicker, she's better not getting into that.

NightWanderer · 10/10/2016 02:45

But everyone knows that he said at the time that he was pro-war, and only later said he was anti-war years after the war started. Don't they?

claig · 10/10/2016 02:48

She is losing because she laughs and smiles but she represenst the complacent status quo over rocketing Obamacare costs and not removing criminals etc. All she can do is use "politicians speak" "words no action" against Trump who promises change.

OP posts:
CousinCharlotte · 10/10/2016 02:51

Well, she's doing better now! He's an odious piece of shit!

TheBurningBridge · 10/10/2016 02:55

sniff, sniff, and no answers

DioneTheDiabolist · 10/10/2016 02:59

Why do they always give Trump the sniffy microphone?Sad
