This isn't helpful posting is it.

Anyway hi Claig. You carry on doing what you're doing - free speech and all that.

Southallgirl · 12/10/2016 19:25

'It's Hillary Clinton's dream of an America without borders.
My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders

There you go, TTIP raises its ugly head. That's the vision Hillllary and some USA politicians have, why Obama was so keen for GB to stay in the EU. The vision includes mainland Europe and Turkey being one territory - right up to the borders with Ukraine, Russia, ME, etc.

Kaija · 12/10/2016 19:27

Clinton's dream sounds pretty good to me. Certainly in comparison with Trump's hate-fuelled nightmare.

fourmummy · 12/10/2016 19:36

In 20 years as a footballer, I never heard ‘banter’ like Trump’s comments"

Come now, Lweji. Really? I mean, REALLY?! How very Victorian...But, but...Mrs Slocombe used to say it all the time Shock

Re Hillary's open borders - I was just about to say that it's pretty well known that this is a long-cherished dream of hers.

WinchesterWoman · 12/10/2016 19:42

Perhaps you didn't think it through k. It is a world in which people are little more than corporate property chasing the lowest wage down, always in debt, never secure in a home. Look at the way things are now with our border more open but still (somewhat) restricted. It doesn't work.

Kaija · 12/10/2016 19:53

Fourmummy, can't really believe I'm having to say this, but it was the grabbing in Trump's statement that was the problem, not the pussy. Wtf.

Kaija · 12/10/2016 19:54

And perhaps I did, WinchesterWoman. Lack of investment is the problem, not lack of borders.

claig · 12/10/2016 19:57

The plot by the Establishment against Trump makes our own Establishment and the famous 172, you know the ones, versus Corbyn and the plotters that McDonnell called "f*ing useless' and he should know about "useless", that's his specialty, look like child's play.

Jerry Falwell Jr on the Establishment and how they failed to topple Trump

Our very own UK Steve Hilton, Oxbridge PPE, and the man known as "Cameron's Brain" was on Fox for a whole hour yesterday and is on today too. Go Steve! I like him, he is one of the good guys. There aren't many, but Steve is OK, except that he had a go at Theresa May recently and i didn't like that.

The "corrupt global establishment" is going down and Steve and other good people will be left after they are all defeated by Trump.

Steve fucking Hilton's back? Don't tell me he's got another book to flog.

claig · 12/10/2016 20:03

Billy Bush, the NBC star involved in the Trump tape, is a cousin of George Bush and Jeb Bush.

No, she did not talk about being able to grab men's penises because she was rich or routinely eat mints incase she couldn't resist the urge to stick her tongue down a random man's throat and she certainly didn't have these conversations when her new wife was pregnant.

Kaija · 12/10/2016 20:04

Oh yes, he was calling for Amber Rudd to be sacked for being the face of the foreign-workers-name-and-shame-list policy. Not shaping up to be his kind of Brexit clearly.

Kaija · 12/10/2016 20:07

Is Putin for or against the establishment?

Kaija · 12/10/2016 20:08

Just out of interest.

claig · 12/10/2016 20:10

'Steve fucking Hilton's back? Don't tell me he's got another book to flog.'

I recorded his 1 hour on Outnumbered yesterday but haven't watched it yet. He is based in the States and has developed some software for elections etc. Good luck to him. He is keeping the UK flag flying up there with the big fish shaking the entire world in the biggest, most important election on the planet. Same as little old Farage, who hasn't got a clue about the stakes involved and about what Trump is doing and who is shocked that Trump fans would shout "Lock Her Up" because he doesn't understand what the hell is going on in the world, but he somehow sneaked into the big league, flying the UK flag, and was invited to the debate when lots of our big cheeses had to watch it on TV because it is way above their heads. It is Trump and that is big league because he is taking the "corrupt global establishment" down on piece at a time.

As Governor Mike Huckabee said on Fox, "say what you like about Trump, he is coarse, he is vulgar, but he is fearless" and the "corrupt global establishment" are panicking.

OP posts:
merrymouse · 12/10/2016 20:18

The corrupt global establishment know they could run rings round Trump.

claig · 12/10/2016 20:20

As Jerry Falwell Jr says to Lou Dobbs "I don't think it is the party, I think it is certain Establishment Republicans in the party who really don't care if Clinton is the President as long as Trump is not. It is how you would expect the Establishment to react because they have so much to lose."

Lou then rightly says "Well I guess that everybody else in the country better start fughting like hell for Donald Trump and ensuring a good voter turnout"

Jerry replies "I couldn't agree more and I think we're going to win"

That is what the "corrupt global establishment" are petrified of because Trump had the guts to tell them to their face "Hell No!"

OP posts:
claig · 12/10/2016 20:23

'The corrupt global establishment know they could run rings round Trump.'

Then why are their nails chewed down more than even Gordon Brown's, our own Great Leader, used to be whenever he saw a picture of Thatcher hanging above the stairs n Number Ten Downing Street?

It is not over yet. Trump is totally fearless and yesterday he announced that "the shackles are off" and the "corrupt global establishment" panicked, finted and called a crisis meeting.

I don't understand the joy of open borders, I can't see the appeal at all. It implies that everyone's the same (how awful if that were true - but it isn't) with the same values, the same moral compass, the same understanding of social duty, the same understanding of the individual's role in society, the social good, right and wrong. I didn't study much economics but one phrase sticks in my mind 'bad money drives out good'. So it is without the nation state.

YokoUhOh · 12/10/2016 20:23

Jerry Falwell is notoriously mad as a box of frogs and has been for years 🐸

YokoUhOh · 12/10/2016 20:25

Sorry, I see he's dead nowadays. Still mad.

WinchesterWoman · 12/10/2016 20:26

Such a terrible idea, lumping human beings in with capital, and money. People are individuals, not pawns that have to 'get on their bike' and trail around hunting for scraps. They should be able to invest in their own nation state, invest in the pledge that a government will look after a people and the people will comply with the government's authority. Open borders is a recipe for chaos and corruption.

YokoUhOh · 12/10/2016 20:27

Oh I SEE, Falwell Jrhastaken up the mantle. He must be a chip off the old block.

Roussette · 12/10/2016 20:27

You seem to know a lot about how "the global establishment" are feeling Claig, you obviously have inside knowledge right from Trump's campaign HQ!

claig · 12/10/2016 20:31

'you obviously have inside knowledge right from Trump's campaign HQ!'

If I did, I would have been at the debate instead of Farage, who hasn't got the foggiest about what is happening, but I listen to US talkshows and TV shows and of course the legendary Trump rallies and keep up with how Trump is taking the "corrupt global establishment" down.
