Fed up of the cuts? Fed up of the mislead bigotry? This is your sanctuary. Unwind. Vent. Pop over to the frothers thread if you feel like getting organised and doing some proactive stuff or just chill out with a cup of builders tea in a polystyrene cup.

Welcome.

If I see Carol McGiffin then I will not slap her - I shall hawk up a nice PhlegmSpit and cough it onto her shoes. Can't get arrested for that. And if I did then no judge in the land would convict me.

Mme - I WOULD do that but I don't watch EE and so wouldn't recognise any of them anyway!

CardyMow · 25/01/2012 11:50

Yes - I MUST stay at home instead of going to a meet-up. Mustn't spend a penny of taxpayers money on anything so exciting as something social Shock for myself. I obviously don't know my place, and should shine 100 Tories shoes with my own spit so that I can be deemed as worthy of support again...

( Grin )

Poledra · 25/01/2012 11:50

Just caught up on that thread about DV (saw it last night but didn't post as I had nothing to add to what the other posters were saying) - I cannot believe she is going to take him back. Those poor children.

MmeLindor. · 25/01/2012 11:52

Good, Hunty. Glad to see that the posters on THC's thread have finally gotten through to you.

I cannot believe anyone can defend the situation as "normal" that a couple with two incomes cannot afford to heat their house. Am aghast.

Aghast is a good word. Goes well with Frothers.

CardyMow · 25/01/2012 11:53

Must have missed that DV thread. Sounds horiffic.

KatieMiddleton · 25/01/2012 12:01

I have hidden the relationship topic. I presume the dv thread was in there? Poor woman and poor children Sad

Gobbing on CMcG's shoes will do. But if you get shit faced and could manage to vom in her lap I would be delighted Grin

I haven't seen it - thankfully. Poor woman obviously can't face reality.

CardyMow · 25/01/2012 12:37

Fuck fuck fuck fuckity fuck. I have just realised after explaining something that I know but had temporarily forgotten (subconciously??).

I am going to lose £10 a WEEK CTC as of next week. DS3 has just turned 1yo. Shit fuck and bollocks. I don't know where to cut the £10 a week from. Bus fares to school? Food shopping? Gas? Electric? Water? ARSEBISCUITS.

Peachy · 25/01/2012 12:43

Is it abd that I am far from 14 and did a henna tattoo? In fairness I was 26 and had it fone at Selfridges though.... these days biker boots are about my limit, even the pink hair went in 2008 when I turned 35.

There was DV thread years ago here where a poster was encouraging smeone to stay put becuase she didn;t think HER taxes should help someone escape, woman facing extreme DV had kids at risk. I called tax-lady on it and got accused of being mean to pick on an opinion.

For the love of all things Waitrose- argggghh.

Hunty Hugs love XXXXXXXXX

RatherBeOnThePiste · 25/01/2012 14:05

Not at all Peachy Grin I had mehndi done about two years ago, palms and backs of my hands, it was so intricate, gorgeoise, they used a sort of piping bag for the henna, such a work of art. Never too old! Nor for pink hair Grin

Hunty my lovely, hug for you x

RatherBeOnThePiste · 25/01/2012 14:08

never too old for henna - and I love biker boots!

MmeLindor. · 25/01/2012 15:54

Oh, poor you, Hunty.

I am having to stay off the benefit threads for an afternoon. I am doing the ironing and watching West Wing.

President Bartlet would wipe the floor with IgglePiggle. And can you imagine CJ against Louise Mensch.

Hullygully · 25/01/2012 15:56

I have started a lovely thread for the bashers.

ShirleyForAllSeasons · 25/01/2012 15:58

lOUISE mENSCH was in The Guardian banging on about being a feminist - I could only read about 4 sentences before I wanted to do some gouging.

Hullygully · 25/01/2012 16:04

She's really weird.

MmeLindor. · 25/01/2012 16:07

Hully
just been giggling over that.

Here is some light relief. I found this terribly cute today.

Sainsbury letter

Bet she is a MNetter - that would be soooo MNetty to send a letter by your DD to Sainsburys.

TeWihara · 25/01/2012 16:12

Holy crap, just found out my friend's husband has been in a coma for 2 days. He was in a car accident.

JaneMare · 25/01/2012 16:13

she is weird...Louise Mensch i mean, not the little girl wrote to sainsbugs.

tweets between her and some of her constituents are priceless Grin

Hullygully · 25/01/2012 16:13

Oh sweet - and cunning sainsbury's such good publicity for them...

Hullygully · 25/01/2012 16:13

Oh Te, fingers crossed and vibes sent

ValarMorghulis · 25/01/2012 16:20

Oh that is awful news about your friend TE.

I have henna mehndis quite a lot. Good friends with a lovely lady that does them for weddings etc so when she comes over for coffee she does them for me. She practices new designs...not that she needs to practice. She is awesome.

great thread Hully

MmeLindor. · 25/01/2012 16:20

Oh, Te. Sorry to hear about your friend's DH. Hope he pulls through.

CardyMow · 25/01/2012 16:22

Fingers crossed for your friend's DH, Tewi.

ShirleyForAllSeasons · 25/01/2012 16:22

Oh Te - how awful. Sending some vibes. x
