Looking back over the thread it is amazing how much has happened in just over a month:

First of all giving thanks for imminent and not so imminent 'beans'
Bobsmum - 36 weeks is it? Struggling with elephant feelings
Podglet on maternity leave now; CS booked for 15th April
Myjobismum - giving thanks for normal scan 14 weeks now and feeling more positive.
CaptainCaveman - give thanks for willyflashing bean. So sad about the lady seen in clinic with a 20 week pregnancy that is no longer viable, Lord have mercy.

Just flagging up some urgent prayer needs

FAQ (Queenofquotes) - marriage has broken up, struggling with life on her own with three dss. Situation not improved by the fact that her lovely vicar had a comprehensive breakdown and is in hospital. Praying for things to keep improving and giving thanks for friends around her.
Podmog Struggling with many issues - Lord bring peace and calm in all situations and relationships.
Praying also for Notsofarnow who is back at work but not finding life that easy.

CaptainDippy and ZipadiSuzy both struggling with rather parallel issues:- unfamiliar work and not a lot of money. Praying for perseverance and rest.
Swaliswan too is getting used to a new job which thankfully she enjoys more than she expected too. Struggling with dh being away a lot and mil threatening a visit straight after dh comes back.

MaryBS who has had such a lot of work to do and who is going for more clarity on a diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome. Praying also for her friend K who will have an operation for cancer on Wednesday.
Also praying for Amber32002 who bravely went to church a few weeks back and who is talking about disability issues with people in the Church at high level.

Praying for Roseylea for clarity of thought on a 'thing that has cropped up'.

Giving thanks with Worzella and Notquitegrownup for enjoyable far away holidays

Praying for Panda's mum with chest infection.

Praying for OJ and Steve, Steve should be home by now but apparently there is some problem with transport. Lord, how we need you in this very hard situation, joy tinged with sadness.

And for all not mentioned NorthernLurker, Mufti, PenpotEca (how are things now sweetheart?) and anybody else - lets get praying.

I know I shouldn't go to work really its not fair on the patients but can't go off sick again agh.

Faq praying for your shoulder and for you hun xx

CaptainDippy · 17/04/2008 19:30

{{{{NQGU}}}}} Go in, see how you feel, and don't push yourself sweetie. The reason you have been ill for so long is probably because of all the hassle and stress and difficulty you have got going on atm. Take it easy on yourself honey. xx

Hello all!

Thank you to DO for relaying the message. Apologies for not catching up with the thread yet but a little sore still I have the most beautiful daughter

Section went really well, so much better than last time, really helped put some demons to rest. I heard her first cry, got first cuddle, the works. The supporting midwife turned out to be a friend of a friend who I know quite well, so that was fab too.

I will post pics, hopefully tomorrow, but just wanted to come on here and "see" you guys.

NorthernLurker · 17/04/2008 20:20

That sounds lovely - well done you! Looking forward to seeing pics

Anybody feel like reading my ramblings, before I email them through tomorrow for vicar's approval prior to publication in the village magazine?

Can't quite make up my mind if it needs tweaking or not...

Hi Podglet! Welcome back with your new addition to the prayer thread!

NSFN, MJIM - praying you all feel better soon.

Glad you're feeling better Sooz!

My ears are still bunged up The nurse said that the wax was hard on the eardrum, so I've got to use ear drops for the next week, then go back to have them syringed next Wed.

Swaliswan · 17/04/2008 21:36

Boing hello everybody!

DH is a bit upset that I've come onto mumsnet to go boing without him and DD (one of DD's favourite things is to go boing)

Hello Podglet Glad to 'see' you here sounding so well. Praying for your little clan, especially the littlest member

Mary would you e-mail me your ramblings? I'm not surprised that you are having the joy of drops and syringing I'm OK thanks for asking. I'm very sleepy even though I had a really good night's sleep last night compared to the previous nights. DH is back safe and sound under strict instructions not to moan about any aches and pains given that he's been away having fun for far too long!

NSFN praying for your cold. Sometimes the patients just have to take us as they find us otherwise they end up not having enough nurses to look after them. Try to make sure that you look after yourself though. There's always time for a quick drink and some paracetamol if you need it.

Myjob praying for your cold. It always seems so unfair to get poorly when you are busy growing a little bean. Where are you going on holiday? It's such a nice stage in your pregnancy to be going away. You're not to big to feel uncomfortable and not enjoy it but you have hopefully stopped throwing up now.

FAQ try eating something and having a drink of milk then you could take some ibuprofen for your pain. How are you feeling this evening?

Sooz praying for your mood to stay lifted.

Praying for everyone else on here and those who haven't posted for a while.

DutchOma · 17/04/2008 21:37

Oh I hate those eardrops, Mary, they tickle and itch, best of luck with them. How did the outlaw visit go?
Glad to hear you are back with us Podglet, are you at home now? How's ds taking it all?
Prayers for mjim, hope you are all better for your holiday, where are you going?
Prayers too for SS, for grace when her mil is coming.
Sleep well, all of you, I've just come home from choir practice, we sang Siya Hamba to go out on, that will be going through my head for the next few days now, very catching

Neck is still really painful, don't have any painkillers in the house at all. Paramedic gave them all to BF on Sunday night and she took them home..

Didn't have an ibuprofen in anyhow..

Feeling quite low tonight, my parents have finally decided to start calling me daily to "see how I am" and my dad announced tonight that he's coming to see me on Sunday - I don't want him to.......

MaryBS · 17/04/2008 21:46

It was OK, DH came home. But they'd talk to me knowing I couldn't hear, it got a bit silly. I also needed to put my drops in and lie down for the stuff to soak in, so I left them to get on with it after a while and disappeared upstairs for 20 mins!

FAQ - sorry to hear you are feeling low. Maybe arrange to go out with friends on Sunday instead? Your family will probably feel happier knowing you're with people, even if they don't come over themselves. If you don't want your dad there, you need to say so really. {hugs}

Swaliswan · 17/04/2008 22:12

My job, I'm not sure how to explain boing. It's having a bit of spring in your step, joy, bounciness iyswim? DD loves it when we 'jump' her up and say 'boing' or bounce her on our laps whilst saying it. She is a very bouncy baby and now gets excited and tries to boing all by herself when she hears the word

Boing boing boing

The wonderful thing about Jesus
Knowing Jesus is a wonderful thing
His heart is full wide and open
He's our Saviour our Lord and our King
He's bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy
Fun fun fun fun fun
The wonderful thing about Jesus is
That he's the only one!

Notquitegrownup · 17/04/2008 22:23

FAQ - praying for you and for your neck. It sounds really painful. Hoping that you can find some relief for it.

Do try to keep on eating too, Sweetheart. It is important. You could try scrambled eggs or a boiled egg with toast as they are very gentle on the tum/easy to digest, but they have lots of goodness in. I have been in a similar place that you are in now - a long time ago - when I too just couldn't eat. (I was also struggling to shop and with the whole choosing what I might eat when I really didn't fancy anything.) ToastnEggs probably kept me alive (strangely so did watching cooking programmes on telly! It was the only thing that took my mind off things and made me want to eat!)

Thinking of you.

G'night. God bless all.

Notquitegrownup · 17/04/2008 22:24

Mary!

Now that's not 1662, is it?!

MaryBS · 17/04/2008 22:25

But it DOTH moveth thee in sundry places...

PandaG · 17/04/2008 23:13

Boing!!! love it

podgelet, thanks for the update, and huge congratulations!

praying for your ear Mary, you FAQ (wise words fom Mary there re your family), NSFN, and everyone else too. G'night xx

Swaliswan · 18/04/2008 10:06

Boing

Good morning everybody!

Praying that you all feel our bouncy Lord holding you close today. Especially you, FAQ.

FAQ, I have to share the lyrics of DD's favourite song from her veggietales worship CD with you. I know that veggietales are a bit silly but I think that you need to know that God still thinks of you as His child and that you are a promise...

I am a promise
I am a possibility
I am a promise with a capital 'P'
I am a great big bundle of potentiality

And I am learning to hear God's voice
And I am trying to make the right choice
And I'm a promise to be
Anything God wants me to be

I can go anywhere that He wants me to go
I can be anything that He wants me to be
I can climb a high mountain
I can cross the wide sea
I am a great big bundle you see!

FAQ, you might be struggling atm, but God still thinks that you are a great big bundle of potentiality and He isn't going to give up on you.

I put lyrics from a veggietales song on Mnet. Oh, the shame!

CaptainCaveman · 18/04/2008 10:31

God Bless you all - the last 2 pages of posts have had me smiling and praying at the same time.
