Looking back over the thread it is amazing how much has happened in just over a month:

First of all giving thanks for imminent and not so imminent 'beans'
Bobsmum - 36 weeks is it? Struggling with elephant feelings
Podglet on maternity leave now; CS booked for 15th April
Myjobismum - giving thanks for normal scan 14 weeks now and feeling more positive.
CaptainCaveman - give thanks for willyflashing bean. So sad about the lady seen in clinic with a 20 week pregnancy that is no longer viable, Lord have mercy.

Just flagging up some urgent prayer needs

FAQ (Queenofquotes) - marriage has broken up, struggling with life on her own with three dss. Situation not improved by the fact that her lovely vicar had a comprehensive breakdown and is in hospital. Praying for things to keep improving and giving thanks for friends around her.
Podmog Struggling with many issues - Lord bring peace and calm in all situations and relationships.
Praying also for Notsofarnow who is back at work but not finding life that easy.

CaptainDippy and ZipadiSuzy both struggling with rather parallel issues:- unfamiliar work and not a lot of money. Praying for perseverance and rest.
Swaliswan too is getting used to a new job which thankfully she enjoys more than she expected too. Struggling with dh being away a lot and mil threatening a visit straight after dh comes back.

MaryBS who has had such a lot of work to do and who is going for more clarity on a diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome. Praying also for her friend K who will have an operation for cancer on Wednesday.
Also praying for Amber32002 who bravely went to church a few weeks back and who is talking about disability issues with people in the Church at high level.

Praying for Roseylea for clarity of thought on a 'thing that has cropped up'.

Giving thanks with Worzella and Notquitegrownup for enjoyable far away holidays

Praying for Panda's mum with chest infection.

Praying for OJ and Steve, Steve should be home by now but apparently there is some problem with transport. Lord, how we need you in this very hard situation, joy tinged with sadness.

And for all not mentioned NorthernLurker, Mufti, PenpotEca (how are things now sweetheart?) and anybody else - lets get praying.

Hi all,

I am trying to keep up and pray for you all but DD and I aren't too well. I think I have the beginnings of mastitis and DD has very sticky eyes and a cold. I have had a headache for 2 days and feel very dizzy and hot.

Moan moan moan..........

Off to crash out whilst both children asleep.

Weegiemum · 06/05/2008 15:38

Can I ask for prayers.

A while back I asked for prayers for C, a primary 3 boy in my dd1's year at school with an inoperable brain tumor. He died this morning. Can we pray for his family, especially his mum?

copingvquietly · 06/05/2008 15:39

i could really do with some too

amber32002 · 06/05/2008 17:13

Prayers for all that need some.

I've rather overdone it today - too many meetings, and I don't get to stop until 10pm. If anyone can pray that I keep going, or find a way to rest somehow, that'd be great

PandaG · 06/05/2008 17:24

DutchOma · 06/05/2008 20:00

Praying for you cvq. I have just seen some of your other posts and think you are amazing to cope with all you've got on your plate. Is there anybody who is on the spot to give you some rl prayer support? Did you manage to lay some contacts with your local church? Try and accept all the help that's offered, we'll be here if you need us. There is an email address on my profile if you want to get in touch. Give your darling boy a hug from me and have lots of {{{hugs}}} yourself.

Praying for C, K and S and their families. How very very sad that such a young boy has died. I cannot imagine what his family must feel, please God hold them dear and comfort them at such a sad sad time .

Praying for you and dd too Podglet - praying you both feel much better soon. Did the rest help?

CVQ I am praying for strength and courage for you. May God guide you and show you the way when you feel you have no strength to do it yourself. As the other lovely ladies have said, please do post on here anytime.

No luck with couple who came to view house, it wasn't what they were after. Never mind, there's no rush. Thankful that at least we have people wanting to look around.

DutchOma · 07/05/2008 09:20

Can I add yet another prayer request for the daughter of a friend of mine (Alison) who has just begun to take part in the Burma desk at World Vision. She was a fortnight into her training when she went on holiday at the beginning of this week. They have a little boy who is having a lot of problems with eyesight and feeding and this holiday was much needed. Obviously she is gutted that she cannot be more involved in the Burma situation, but when she does get back from holiday there will be a lot of stress if she has to go to Burma and has to leave the little boy in the care of his (very possessive)paternal grandmother

Evening all!

Another wonderful day here. DS at nursery today so DD and I went into town to meet a friend and do some shopping then we came home and had a very lazy afternoon.

I feel loads better, boob has cleared up, headache gone. Back to being happy and smiley!

DO - that poor little boy and his Mum - what eyesight issues are there? Might be able to help / give direction for help. Referring DD at the moment to Moorfields eye hosp for routine checks, same as DS to check she doesn't develop / have my eyesight condition. It can present itself any time up til their 2nd birthday. LMK.

CC - think the rest did help thank you! Glad you are getting viewings on your house, hope you get an offer soon.

Praying for you CVQ

Amber - hope you got to rest today and gather your thoughts after your busy day yesterday.

Hope everybody is enjoying the sunshine and long may it last!

DutchOma · 07/05/2008 20:02

Podglet, it is being well treated at Great Ormond Street. Basically the whole family (including my friend) suffer from congenital cataracts (sp?) and Alison and her husband chose to have them treated before the little boy was 6 weeks old. There was some confusion about the first operation and it had all got to be done over again. In the meantime, maybe as a result of all the horrible anaesthetics he could not or would not feed and he now has to be fed straight into his stomach. He has to wear spectacles as well and have loads of eyedrops. They are coping with it remarkably well all things considered and he is a lovely little boy.
What is your condition? Ds is alright so far isn't he?

Praise God for my tidy house! Praise God too for my wonderful little boy who I just adore more each day. He told me tonight that he loves me so much his heart bursts. Awww, my little cutie

We're off to Florida on Friday so I may not get chance to post again before we go. If not, God bless you all and hold you close. 'See' you in a couple of weeks!

DutchOma · 08/05/2008 09:11

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who spotted my thread and had kind words to offer. And thank you for your prayers...it is so comforting to think there is someone praying for you when you are low. I still haven't heard when I'll be scheduled for an appointment, I'm sure the NHS is quite busy, but the sunshine and warm weather the past three days have helped lift my soul a bit.

I was quite saddened though last night when I got home to a message to phone my sister - she had the sad job of letting me know my aunt unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday night. She was just 50, and they think it was likely a massive heart attack. Would you all please pray that her daughters find strength to cope with their grief and comfort in knowing she'll be watching over them always? I am so sad for them - they we're really really close to their mom and now they will have to miss her terribly when they eventually marry, have babies, just wish for a "mommy-hug"... I miss her like crazy too. And please pray for my grandmother - this is the third of her four children she'll have buried...I can't imagine how low she must be feeling... Thank you...

DutchOma · 08/05/2008 09:59

Oh my dear prayers for you and for all your family, especially your cousins.

Sooz, I know that I've missed a few things over the past few days, but you can't just slip in that you are going to resign and not say anything more! Is everything OK? How is DH?

CC Florida! How many weeks are you now? You are brave to take a toddler on a long haul flight while you are pg. Prayers for a smooth journey and fun, fun, fun whilst you are away.

Podglet put your feet up! No-one expects you to be super woman.

Praying for everyone else mentioned on here.
