Looking back over the thread it is amazing how much has happened in just over a month:

First of all giving thanks for imminent and not so imminent 'beans'
Bobsmum - 36 weeks is it? Struggling with elephant feelings
Podglet on maternity leave now; CS booked for 15th April
Myjobismum - giving thanks for normal scan 14 weeks now and feeling more positive.
CaptainCaveman - give thanks for willyflashing bean. So sad about the lady seen in clinic with a 20 week pregnancy that is no longer viable, Lord have mercy.

Just flagging up some urgent prayer needs

FAQ (Queenofquotes) - marriage has broken up, struggling with life on her own with three dss. Situation not improved by the fact that her lovely vicar had a comprehensive breakdown and is in hospital. Praying for things to keep improving and giving thanks for friends around her.
Podmog Struggling with many issues - Lord bring peace and calm in all situations and relationships.
Praying also for Notsofarnow who is back at work but not finding life that easy.

CaptainDippy and ZipadiSuzy both struggling with rather parallel issues:- unfamiliar work and not a lot of money. Praying for perseverance and rest.
Swaliswan too is getting used to a new job which thankfully she enjoys more than she expected too. Struggling with dh being away a lot and mil threatening a visit straight after dh comes back.

MaryBS who has had such a lot of work to do and who is going for more clarity on a diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome. Praying also for her friend K who will have an operation for cancer on Wednesday.
Also praying for Amber32002 who bravely went to church a few weeks back and who is talking about disability issues with people in the Church at high level.

Praying for Roseylea for clarity of thought on a 'thing that has cropped up'.

Giving thanks with Worzella and Notquitegrownup for enjoyable far away holidays

Praying for Panda's mum with chest infection.

Praying for OJ and Steve, Steve should be home by now but apparently there is some problem with transport. Lord, how we need you in this very hard situation, joy tinged with sadness.

And for all not mentioned NorthernLurker, Mufti, PenpotEca (how are things now sweetheart?) and anybody else - lets get praying.

Hello everyone! I've been lurking but sooo busy all of a sudden. Hmmmm

Could I ask for prayers for the NQGUs at the moment please. No specifics - a bit complicated - but prayers for guidance and protection, that we may be able to know what to do in a tricky situation and that what we do will be in line with God's will for us, would be much appreciated.

Thank you lovely ladies. God bless all.

ooo, I did a reply yesterday and I think the computer's eaten it - no sign of it anywhere.

Still keeping each of you in my prayers as I read through what you've written.

Thanks for the prayers this week. Much appreciated . Had a quieter day yesterday, thank goodness, so have built up some reserves of strength for what's ahead: I am going to a disability weekend to talk about how disability is handled in churches. They've never tried to include someone on the autistic spectrum before, and I'll be there all weekend without anyone familiar to rely on, and it's a scary prospect. They've been great in sending me all the info I need, but I'd really appreciate prayers that I will find some way to get through it.

amber - ooooooh - prayers for a fruitful weekend with your disability in church seminar!

Weegiemum · 09/05/2008 08:40

Can I ask for a pretty simple prayer?

Dd2, who has just been diagnosed with a hip problem (Perthes disease) has now come down with chickenpox!

Her one great pleasure with her restricted movement is swimming. She cant swim now as she is covered in spots!!!

Pray for her to be happy as we deal with this.

My dd1 and ds are also a bit upset. The funeral for C, their classmate who died earlier this week, was yesterday. They had a "ceilidh" - (gaelic for "gathering" - they are at a gaelic school) for C yesterday, singing the songs he loved, sharing memories yesterday, and then dd1 cried a lot at bedtime yesterday - she was in his class.

Prayers for his Mum and gran, and for the children affected by his death. When I was dd1's age, a girl in my class died of leukaemia, so I remember it well. I want to help them to cope, but it is impossible to explain why a 7 year old boy would have to die.
