Looking back over the thread it is amazing how much has happened in just over a month:

First of all giving thanks for imminent and not so imminent 'beans'
Bobsmum - 36 weeks is it? Struggling with elephant feelings
Podglet on maternity leave now; CS booked for 15th April
Myjobismum - giving thanks for normal scan 14 weeks now and feeling more positive.
CaptainCaveman - give thanks for willyflashing bean. So sad about the lady seen in clinic with a 20 week pregnancy that is no longer viable, Lord have mercy.

Just flagging up some urgent prayer needs

FAQ (Queenofquotes) - marriage has broken up, struggling with life on her own with three dss. Situation not improved by the fact that her lovely vicar had a comprehensive breakdown and is in hospital. Praying for things to keep improving and giving thanks for friends around her.
Podmog Struggling with many issues - Lord bring peace and calm in all situations and relationships.
Praying also for Notsofarnow who is back at work but not finding life that easy.

CaptainDippy and ZipadiSuzy both struggling with rather parallel issues:- unfamiliar work and not a lot of money. Praying for perseverance and rest.
Swaliswan too is getting used to a new job which thankfully she enjoys more than she expected too. Struggling with dh being away a lot and mil threatening a visit straight after dh comes back.

MaryBS who has had such a lot of work to do and who is going for more clarity on a diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome. Praying also for her friend K who will have an operation for cancer on Wednesday.
Also praying for Amber32002 who bravely went to church a few weeks back and who is talking about disability issues with people in the Church at high level.

Praying for Roseylea for clarity of thought on a 'thing that has cropped up'.

Giving thanks with Worzella and Notquitegrownup for enjoyable far away holidays

Praying for Panda's mum with chest infection.

Praying for OJ and Steve, Steve should be home by now but apparently there is some problem with transport. Lord, how we need you in this very hard situation, joy tinged with sadness.

And for all not mentioned NorthernLurker, Mufti, PenpotEca (how are things now sweetheart?) and anybody else - lets get praying.

Message from Dippy: Her internet is defunct so she can't get on-line and she's not been doing too well today. She feels anxious and poor little P seems out of sorts. Can we pray for strength and peace of heart for her. May she know your love and joy Lord.

Also - we are still hoping to move - but all the dates have got tangled - there are only three of us in the chain, we'll complete any time and the other two parties can't match up. Please pray for a speedy resolution!

MaryBS · 25/04/2008 07:20

Glad to hear it was peaceful Lulu, but so sad for you, Ruby and your family. May God comfort you in your loss, and take your grandmother to be with him.

How is everyone this morning?

We're off to Legoland tomorrow, staying in a travelodge tonight. Our first visit of the year! Children are VERY excited!

Lulumama · 25/04/2008 07:52

thank you mary, ruby tells me she had a lot of comfort from this thread that she posted on here when grandma first became ill and your kind words have been much appreciated. she has lived 20 years without grandpa, they will be together again now.

MaryBS · 25/04/2008 08:25

Lulu, I'm glad to hear that - you are both welcome here anytime. I know we have ALL drawn comfort and support from this thread, and sometimes practical advice as well (comes from being mums I think!). I hope today goes as well as can be expected, and that your family can rejoice in a life well spent, and know that she will be with her love, your grandpa again.

CaptainCaveman · 25/04/2008 09:18

God Bless your Grandma lulu and Ruby, she is most definately at peace with Him now. Praying for your whole family today and for the times ahead.

amber32002 · 25/04/2008 09:22

Prayers aplenty for all the family, Lulu. Shall be thinking of you this afternoon.

DutchOma · 25/04/2008 10:06

Every blessing for you and Ruby and your family Lulu. We are reading the book of Ruth at the moment and have come to the point where the elders bless Boaz and how powerful a blessing that is. The notes ask us to think of someone to bless with our thoughts and words today, so I am glad to have this opportunity.
Mumsnet is a real blessing to us all.

RubySlippers · 25/04/2008 10:29

thank you for your prayers and kind wordsit is a very sad day, but we are taking strength from each other

lots of tears, but her suffering was getting too much

Dutch - my Son's hebrew name is Yaakov Boaz.

CaptainDippy · 25/04/2008 11:05

So glad she is "home" now, Lulu and Ruby. Praying for you all as you "get through" the funeral this afternoon and remember a long life lived well xx

Please pray for the attendees of another funeral this afternoon - a 24 yr old man and his friend were killed in a car crash in our area last week. It is the young man's funeral today. A lot of people I know seem to have been acquainted with him so it is going to be a packed out venue with a lot of tears for a life cut short

NorthernLurker · 25/04/2008 12:11

Prayers for your family Ruby and Lulu and also for the situation Dippy mentioned - be with all who mourn today Lord and bring them comfort.

PandaG · 25/04/2008 12:24
