Rachel, yes I am Dutch and Oma to Zac who is theUrbanDryad's little boy. So a 'foreigner' like yourself, although I have lived in this country for over thirty years.
If there is anybody about late at night could they maybe link to Mummy2T&F who is having a difficult time of it at the moment, guess that won't get any better towards Christmas either.
NSFN sorry to hear about gashes and sickness, sometimes it can get all too much and you just need to tackle one thing at the time and feel pleased when you've managed it.

Ooooh, meant to share with you yesterday's "Toilet Prayer", but forgot - So here it is, a cracker from Henri Nouwen .....

"Why, O Lord, is it so hard for me to keep my heart directed toward you? Why do the many little things I want to do, and the many people I know, keep crowding my mind, even during the hours that I am totally free to be with you and you alone? Why does my mind wander off in so many directions, and why does my heart desire the things that lead me astray? Are you not enough for me? Do I keep doubting your love and care, your mercy and grace? Do I keep wondering, in the center of my being, whether you will give me all I need if I just keep my eyes on you?

Please accept my distractions, my fatigue, my irritations, and my faithless wanderings. You know me more deeply and fully than I know myself. You love me with a greater love than I can love myself. Ladyeeez, I have news.

No, not that! I got a whopping 81% for my finance assignment! AND for the presentation we had to do today, our group got 83% Praise the Lord for my study results!!

cd that is one fantastic prayer and just sums up perfectly where i'm at I guess.

dd is fine, hating any fuss over it as she does about anything. She didn't even cry when she did it but her teacher said today that she just kept looking at her coat that was covered in blood and looking at the teacher as if to say its dirty so in the end they took it off her. she is soo cute.

ds has had flu jab in one arm and hib c in the otehr today bless him. His steroid inhaler has been doubled to try and get on top of his crappy chest.

I'm feeling a bit better but it doesn't last long. Just really fed up and practice nurse told me to make appointment with gp but i will be fine.

It might last NSFN, you feeling a bit better and you might even feel a bit better than that tomorrow. I will pray lots of silver linings for you, just don't look at the clouds

hmm clouds lots of them me thinks. ds teacher told me today that I am one of their favourite mummy's and that my kids are find and happy and that i'm doing a grand job.

Just oh I don't know. cant be bothered.
