Celebrating my lovely DH, grateful he's around.

Having a thoughtful son who made presents and shared toys when his brother was ill.

First pub lunch since pre-covid, glad to have the option back!

Yesterday. Having all my children together. Something that is always appreciated once they leave home.

Grateful for the big ball of 10 year old joy and fun that is my youngest boy. Birthday celebrations all weekend and a quiet day with family to celebrate his actual birthday today.

A good day home-learning so far.

Planning and planting gaps in vegetable beds for autumn/winter crops (if any survive Percy Thrower I am not!).

As no school run today, afternoon of slow cooking. Life could be a lot worse

Bike races in the park with DS7. Chats with DS3 who has taken a giant leap forward in his development.

More lovely food. I'm glad to have got a push to cook new things, I'm really enjoying it. Veggies are so tasty

Seeing my uncle whom I haven't seen for more years than I care to count. We were very close when I was young and it was so good to see him again.

Lovely compliments from DS7 about my cooking. It's nice to get recognition for the work of cooking healthy food for everyone.

Super interesting day at work.

Lovely drinks with friends, grateful for a slice of normality

Sunny bike ride through a beautiful park to collect nice veggies to feed the family. I cycled past a kids party in the park, which had a sound system inside and three bubble machines mounted to the roof spraying bubbles into the park. My patch of city is so funny, there's always something new going on.

Really grateful to have scientific research. Big medical breakthrough today that has given hope to a family member.

Feeling like I'm mKing some sort of progress even though it's like wading through treacle

The NHS and the people who make it for getting my friend through a difficult cancer operation.

2 days off! Unheard of. So lovely to get some headspace.

Homework that had been stressing me out coming back with lovely feedback from a wonderful tutor.
