My dh. After a busy day on the first day of a course that is going to be great but heavy I was feeling wiped out and a bit teary and was looking at the world through a bit of a negative lens.
I had a bath and went to bed early. He came up and sat with me and showed me silly stuff on Twitter (which I don't have) showing things that make you smile. Lots of lovely things showing the kinder and lighter side of life and the good in the world..
Some funny, some heartwarming. Lovely man.

I'm grateful for another day on this planet

A walk surrounded by the beauty of green, growing, living things.

I spent some time in the park with friends today.
Excellent hugs from my kids.
Encouragement from my DH for a challenging week.

Catching a gap between the showers for a trip to the garden centre, and finding what I needed
Being able to negotiate a tricky situation with someone

A phone call from my sister that lifted my spirits

Another day of gratitude for DH who rolls up hos sleeves and fixes burst toilet pipes. Always a fun job and I am so glad he is handy.

Happy I made the kids smile with some new craft supplies

Glad to reconnect with them and reawaken some listening skills that had gotten lost beneath my own stresses

Warm sunshine and blue skies on my day off. Sitting in my garden in between doing jobs in the house. It's amazing how a little bit of sunshine is so nourishing.

And I am grateful for having a garden to enjoy it in.

The red kites that are often circling above my house, gives me a lift every time I see them

DH feeling a bit more relaxed after a conversation with his boss

The support of my lovely sister as a I navigate my way through some health issues

Feeling thankful for the health I have. A member of my extended family has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and I'm gutted for them.

Little DS borrowed my work microphone and gave us all a little song.

So nice just to spend time together.

Visited my dad for the first time since October.
A very thought provoking and challenging conference last night.
And a glorious new morning of sunshine and birdsong.

I got my vaccination! So grateful.

I had a beautiful walk today in the city, which is coming alive again.

Some stressful meetings are over with.

Yesterday- a return to my studio. Seeing all my lovely clients faces so grateful to be back in person.

My 'job' . I am a yoga and meditation teacher in my own studio. I feel extremely lucky to do what I do. To see people feel so good after a class just lifts my heart. And I also always feel good after a class. It is a wonderful job to have. And makes all the admin that I have to do to run the place completely worth it.

Sweeping, I find sweeping a floor quite meditative which my youngster self would be horrified at!

Taking it slowly today. Trying to find an even keel at a stressful time.

Ordered some lovely food to be delivered tomorrow for 'date night' at home.

Looking forward to surprising little DS with a new scooter (bought it today from a local group). I think he'll love it.

Finding small joys from arranging little treats for the family.

Ds4, I've only got one DD😀
