Looking back over the thread to do a summary, there is so much to thank God for in the past month or so:
Bobsmum coming more or less unscathed through a car crash, with bean intact, Podglet's bean doing well in 'secret' and most of all Pepperpot's wonderful news. God is good, never doubt it.

Lots of large and small struggles:
CaptainCaveman, CaptainDippy, MaryBS, Mufti, NQGU, Roseylea, Zipadisuzy and probably quite a few others struggling with negative feelings, anxiety and feelings of being a 'bad mummy'. Praying that you will derive your self worth from your Heavenly Father Who knows 'how we are made' and loves us with an unfailing love.
Harrisey with decisions to make about future ministry
NSFN for wisdom regarding relationships.
QueenofQuotes - giving thanks for a better relationship.
Creambunnie for wisdom and strength in dealing with a difficult marriage.
PandaG for a new job that's just right

Praying with ChocolatePeanut for poorly mother and baby, giving thanks that the news so far is good.

And giving thanks with Dumbledoresgirl for the recovery of NASW/Losty, who is now PhoenixSoaring, how marvellous is that?

We keep praying for OnlyJoking and MummytoT&F, who are both still in very hard places.

MumtoGusnAlbie, MorticiasMother, NotanOtter and Shreksmissus, let us know how we can continue to pray for you. If I have forgotten to mention anybody, God never forgets and He loves you.
And everyone who has a look at this thread, we know that 'our help comes from Him Who has made heaven and earth, Who loved us before we were formed and Who never abandons what He has begun. Praise be to His Holy Name.

Hi Everyone,

Just to request prayer for us both (again) hope you don't mind... dh and I been apart for a week now and its HARD...

Any tips/advice on how to sort the practical issues would also be appreciated... Life is never easy but GOD IS ALWAYS there... just as well or I would have no hope!

Need to start taking formal steps to sort out housing, finances, etc... what a headache, need to stay focused and step at a time eh??

Love to all xxx

Roseylea · 09/11/2007 08:15

{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} Creambunnie. It must be so hard for you? Where roughly in the country are you? Have you got people to support you nearby? Are you in a church that is supportive? Have you got shoulders to cry on?

Prayers for me please - I'm going to do my hospital chapliancy stint this morning. I haven't done it for a while and I feel really nervous! In fact I was talking to God about it this morning and I said, a la Gideon, "Lord, I don't even know where my hospital ID badge is, and I can't go without that. If you want me to go and visit the patients please help me to find my badge, otherwise I'll assume you don't want me to go today". And what was the first thing I laid my hand on after praying that prayer??!! The ID badge of course! So I'm going with that simple thought when Jesus said in Matthew 25 "I was in hospital and you came and visited me...for what you did to the least of these my brothers, you did to me". Please pray for the Lord's love and grace to touch the lives of those in hospital - the ones I see have had strokes or heart illness diagnoses, so it's big stuff.

CaptainCaveman · 09/11/2007 08:26

CB and Panda - I'm going to post those cds today. Man thats taken me a long time to do a very quick job! Sorry guys. Hope you find the cd useful though.

What a glorious day! It's so beautiful, really crisp and clear. I'm feeling full of life and love, dip in and share some.

Just a huge thank you to the Mumsnet prayer thread - I posted a while ago about my friend who was struggling with her little boy who was austistic.
I've just seen her and he's finally got a place in nursery and will be getting the help they both need.
Thanks to you all and I'll add my prayers for the people who need them now.

DutchOma · 09/11/2007 10:12

Praise the Lord, Scootergrrrl, thank you for posting

Roseylea - we feel inadequate but God uses us and its amazing the good that you will be doing to those you visit - sometimes actions speak louder than words - and the fact that you are taking the time and prayer to help those less fortunate is all that matters! You are to be admired (glory to God of course).

CC - thanks re cd - its for a friend - I heard about her problem for a reason obviously!!

DO - its dd - 10 months.

Have just burnt my hand on the kettle and its pushed me to limit - just had good cry - this is sooooo hard. Just want to tell dh to come back home as I love him soooo much but there again its like putting the hand on the kettle again - its hurts us both while we are together.

I have prayed and prayed - all thats left is for God's miraculous power to recover this relationship - which if I'm honest hasn't been right since the first year.

All our issues could be handled if at the core of it all we were a true partnership (I believe) but we arent and thats the root of the problem. I know we can't change each other (but God can)....

Oh sorry to ramble... good to get it out!

Sg - am encouraged to hear answer to prayer - God is good.

Love to all xx

creambunnie · 09/11/2007 11:19

ps, I am now wondering if God allowed my burnt hand as a reminder of the pain I have been going through??? or is it the Devil trying to getting upper hand - saying "you are useless, inadequate and will not get through this!"

???????

xxxxxxx

DutchOma · 09/11/2007 11:25

Creambunnie, neither, just sh*t happens, in all sorts of ways. Have you still got your hand under the cold tap? Go to A&E if it is bad. Don't put anything on it.
You haven't told us whereabouts you are so is there any of us that is near enough to give some practical help?
Your dd is just the same age as my darling grandson, he was born on 5th January

Remember:- When you are weak, you are strong.

Here's something to cheer everyone up .....

New Thread

Here for you CB, keep going ......

DutchOma · 09/11/2007 11:58

Long way away from me, unfortunately but not in the spirit. A&E not very near either I suppose.
My dd says, come over to the Jan 07 post natal thread, but their furthest North is Northumbria.
They are a cheerful bunch, but not very close geographically.
Dd and baby have just turned up to turn the house upside down.

Sorry not been around been busy not sure doing what thou.

xh assures me that he hasn't drunk a drop since our last conversation about it. So next step to pray for is that the DVLA allows him his license back before Christmas just pray that happens as it will make life sooooo much easier for both of us.

df had her test results back and has colitus, she needs to see gp now to start treatment.

please pray for dd2 her english book has been lost she is insisting she handed it in because she was one of the only children to complete her homework on time, and her teacher has turned nasty saying that she is a) a pain in the backside (this was said about her to another teacher) as were the next comments
b) she must be dragged up and is taught nothing at home
c) she will re do all her work since sept including 4 essays at lunch times.

A letter to head of year will be written before Monday as the school sells itself as having a family ethos where everyone cares about each other.

IO'm really cross because even if said teacher thinks that about a child they have nto right to say it to a child - she has been through enough thsi year without being put down by someone who should be mentoring her and nurturing the good things in her not telling her that she is a waste of space.

Sorry rant over - am praying for everyone.

Has xavielli posted? not got time to trawl through as last thread kind of took off, but often think about her. Finding it hard if you don't check everyday you loose your way slightly

at dd's teacher, NSFN. Rant away!

Good news about dh - praying for him to get his licence back, and to be able to keep it too.

CD has started a new prayer thread, by the way - that might explain why no-one else has said Hi, to you! It's over here
