Looking back over the thread to do a summary, there is so much to thank God for in the past month or so:
Bobsmum coming more or less unscathed through a car crash, with bean intact, Podglet's bean doing well in 'secret' and most of all Pepperpot's wonderful news. God is good, never doubt it.

Lots of large and small struggles:
CaptainCaveman, CaptainDippy, MaryBS, Mufti, NQGU, Roseylea, Zipadisuzy and probably quite a few others struggling with negative feelings, anxiety and feelings of being a 'bad mummy'. Praying that you will derive your self worth from your Heavenly Father Who knows 'how we are made' and loves us with an unfailing love.
Harrisey with decisions to make about future ministry
NSFN for wisdom regarding relationships.
QueenofQuotes - giving thanks for a better relationship.
Creambunnie for wisdom and strength in dealing with a difficult marriage.
PandaG for a new job that's just right

Praying with ChocolatePeanut for poorly mother and baby, giving thanks that the news so far is good.

And giving thanks with Dumbledoresgirl for the recovery of NASW/Losty, who is now PhoenixSoaring, how marvellous is that?

We keep praying for OnlyJoking and MummytoT&F, who are both still in very hard places.

MumtoGusnAlbie, MorticiasMother, NotanOtter and Shreksmissus, let us know how we can continue to pray for you. If I have forgotten to mention anybody, God never forgets and He loves you.
And everyone who has a look at this thread, we know that 'our help comes from Him Who has made heaven and earth, Who loved us before we were formed and Who never abandons what He has begun. Praise be to His Holy Name.

Thanks for conveying Simon's greetings, Harrisey.
So awfully said about your student colleague, this no doubt will take a lot of time and prayer to sort out. I hope the truth of the matter will come out, however painful; "the truth will make you free".
Praying for good days for all of you, I'm off to the market for wool for the second cardigan for Bensmum4's dd.

Yes it IS a Christian Prayer Thread, Tinsel! Great to "see" you here! Will try and re-send email; but popping the cheque in the post today ......

Awwww, Podmog - not OTT AT ALL - That is absolutely lovely news about your DD being entered on the G&T register - I would be bursting with pride!! Great stuff! Ooooooh, exciting about the house - praying, praying, praying that if this is the right house for you, then you would get it! Pleased about the church involvement too - things are looking up, eh!!?

Ooooooh, Ooooooh ...... My BF's non-Christian DH went to an Alpha course of his own volition last night!!!!!!! Loads of prayers in his direction pleeeeeeease - It would be so wonderful and amazing if he were to commit his life to God and Jesus - They've had a really rough time of late and Jesus is the only one who can sort the whole sorry mess out! xx

TINSELTOESmumofDJ · 07/11/2007 13:42

Roseylea · 07/11/2007 18:16

Praying for him, CD.

How awful Harrissey. I am praying for all touched by the loss in your community.

Well I am okay - off to the leadership course tonight, which I'm really enjoying. And very excitingly, we are getting a cleaner! Yippeeeeeeeeeee! She's coming tomorrow afternoon for a cup of tea and chat about what she will do. She's one of the mums from dd's class and she's lovely, so I'm very thrilled to have her help me with my housework! (Needless to say I'll be spending tomorrow morning cleaning the house to within an inch of its life...!)

Roseylea · 07/11/2007 18:17

And welcome, tinseltoes! Lovely to have you here!

CaptainDippy · 07/11/2007 19:41

OOOOOOOOOOOH, Rosey - A cleaner - How fab!! How's the health sweetie?? xx

CD's BF's DH is Chris. Did make me LOL the way you wrote it - these MN abbreviations crack me up!

NorthernLurker · 07/11/2007 20:11

Good evening ladies, have just been browsing through to catch up a bit and had a few thoughts:
Podmog - would love to pray about the house for you - we are trying to move at the moment so I think I can slip it in with that
Quite keen for my dh to come home so I can mention to him that I am praying for CD''s B/f's DH! He'll probably think it's a reference to a really modern bible translation...text speak or similar
Harrisey - will pray for the tragedy you and your colleagues have been touched by, epecially for strength for you as others lean on you.
Rosey - job sounds exciting - will pray that the Lord will lead you to where he wants you to be.
DutchOma - sorry to hear your dh is unwell - will pray for recovery.
Think I better stop now but before I go can I ask for prayers for my friends whose marriage has ended. I don't want to go into lots of details but there are small children involved and lots and lots of pain, hurt and a huge dose of non-communication. I don't know what to do for them, the whole thing makes me very sad so tonight I will put it in God's hands and ask Him for peace for my friends. Please join me if you are able.

TheQueenOfQuotes · 07/11/2007 20:19

"where people can place prayers to be prayed over at Evensnog"

Sorry just catching up - prayers for everyone. But Mary - that did make me chuckle - wasn't sure whether it was a deliberate typo or not

MaryBS · 07/11/2007 20:29

No, I always type it like that... . Blame it on our vicar, who refers to it as that!

Praying for Chris, and Harrisey's college. Welcome tinseltoes!

B/F - can be boyfriend, best friend, or breast fed - I'm presuming you don't have a boyfriend CD, or MrCD might have something to say about it

Sorry, I'd better get back to my essay...

Praying for you all though!

CaptainDippy · 07/11/2007 20:36
NorthernLurker · 07/11/2007 20:41

Thanks CD - yes I'm flitting between threads like a MN butterfly!

livvylouis · 07/11/2007 22:19

hi everyone not been around for a while just had a quick read through prayers to Harrisey and her friends at college.
I have made a date to be baptised cant wait! Not till feb, both DD and DS are being baptised too so will be a really nice day .
Could we please pray for my MIL as she has just found out she has oesteoporosis as is feeling quite depressed about it. She has had a difficult year as she lost the mother in may after a long illness and is still very upset about that .
anyway prayers to you all x.

harrisey · 07/11/2007 22:32

Rosey - a cleaner! This is my DREAM! I had one before we moved to Glasgow and am kind of hoping that next year when we no longer need the nanny we can have one again as we cant afford both right now!!

Thanks for your prayers ladies. I have broached the isues of how people are coping with the college counsellor which should help. Me at least - I have someone to refer them to when it is to much for me.

livvy! Dh and I were baptised in March (full immersion - having been CHristians for almost 20 years, we felt the need to make this commitment) and it was an immensely special day. I hope yours is as memorable - we dedicated our children in the same sevice and the whole church still talks about it!

CaptainCaveman · 08/11/2007 07:20

Good morning ladies

Just been catching up with the thread which has taken off over last couple of days!

CD I have to ask, after mary's post, your friends' DH isn't BreastFed is he (memories of Little Britain anyone).

Great news - dsis is back on the wagon Praise God. I'm so so so grateful.

As I look out of the window it looks like being a beautiful autumn crisp day and I thank God for the peace of mind, body and to enjoy it. May your day be blessed with the wonders of His works and the love of the Holy Spirit.

I want to Praise God too for all you guys. Joining this thread has really helped me to develop my faith and has encouraged me to live a more 'God-like' life. I didn't used to speak freely of God's influence in my life to people in rl but I have started doing this more and more and as a result I can feel my relationship with God and Jesus blossoming. Thank You God for calling me to follow you!

PandaG · 08/11/2007 08:06
