Looking back over the thread to do a summary, there is so much to thank God for in the past month or so:
Bobsmum coming more or less unscathed through a car crash, with bean intact, Podglet's bean doing well in 'secret' and most of all Pepperpot's wonderful news. God is good, never doubt it.

Lots of large and small struggles:
CaptainCaveman, CaptainDippy, MaryBS, Mufti, NQGU, Roseylea, Zipadisuzy and probably quite a few others struggling with negative feelings, anxiety and feelings of being a 'bad mummy'. Praying that you will derive your self worth from your Heavenly Father Who knows 'how we are made' and loves us with an unfailing love.
Harrisey with decisions to make about future ministry
NSFN for wisdom regarding relationships.
QueenofQuotes - giving thanks for a better relationship.
Creambunnie for wisdom and strength in dealing with a difficult marriage.
PandaG for a new job that's just right

Praying with ChocolatePeanut for poorly mother and baby, giving thanks that the news so far is good.

And giving thanks with Dumbledoresgirl for the recovery of NASW/Losty, who is now PhoenixSoaring, how marvellous is that?

We keep praying for OnlyJoking and MummytoT&F, who are both still in very hard places.

MumtoGusnAlbie, MorticiasMother, NotanOtter and Shreksmissus, let us know how we can continue to pray for you. If I have forgotten to mention anybody, God never forgets and He loves you.
And everyone who has a look at this thread, we know that 'our help comes from Him Who has made heaven and earth, Who loved us before we were formed and Who never abandons what He has begun. Praise be to His Holy Name.

mufti · 01/11/2007 10:28

hi to all, been lurking and reading
ds was waking around 630, his clock has gone back to 515/530 this week! , i am struggling and really hope he adjusts soon.

CaptainDippy · 01/11/2007 10:53

Yes, my oldest seems to think it is perfectly acceptable to waltz into our rom at 5am atm, starting to wear thin now .....

ZipadiSuzy · 01/11/2007 11:41

OOh CD - are you having a peaceful morning?

I'm grateful half term has finished, it was a long week without a break from the children!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE PODGLET! - Have a lovely day

ZipadiSuzy · 01/11/2007 11:48

Just a tiddy prayer request please, I'm struggling on my Swimming Instructors course, I'm fine and generally know what I'm doing, but my lack of education does not help with the type of silly questions in the mock papers. 'gobbledigook' Why do exam papers have to complicate things by asking trick questions

ZipadiSuzy · 01/11/2007 11:49

My mentor says they are not trick questions, you just have to read them properly - all right for him to say!!!!!!!

CaptainDippy · 01/11/2007 12:11

Will pray, Soooz hon - Gobbldigook isn't easy and all you want to do is be a good swimming instructor - not have a PhD in swimming!!

Have dug up the last of the lawn and put it into wheelbarrows ready to go to the tip. Feeling rather proud of myself.

DutchOma · 01/11/2007 13:25

Well done CD. Will pray re gobbledigook, Suzy; you know can't even spell that

Zac and dd came to visit this morning, jiha,
praise the Lord and thank you all for praying

Good stuff, DO. xx

CaptainCaveman · 01/11/2007 15:28

Hello ladies - I've been a little quiet the last couple of days as work has been frantic. Went to the road to maturity class on tuesday eve, went with ds to a light and bright party at church last night and am going hockey training tonight. Phew.

At home this afternoon, adjusting my last essay and have now done this ready to hand in again tomorrow. I complained at last essay hand in that those who had got an extension for their assignments were advantaged over those (like me) who hadn't, because we received feedback on the previous assignments as we handed the next one in. Outcome...I get to resubmit! yay. Good for me as I wasn't totally happy with my work. And now I am, so thank You God for that opportunity!

Ds has slept in his own bed for pretty much the last 3 weeks . He wants moonsand as a reward. My catholic friend says moonsand was invented by the devil as it gets everywhere and she hates it . I'll let you know tomorrow!!

God has been very very gracious and kind to me. I'm feeling so happy! My friend at ds' nursery who found the breast lumps - has got nothing to worry about, it's just fatty tissue. PRAISE THE LORD!!!

CaptainCaveman · 01/11/2007 15:29

Hey CD! did you listen to the CD, CD?!

ZipadiSuzy · 01/11/2007 15:33

Thanks for your prayers, I just get so frustrated at the Exam questions. I am a good Instructor, practical is no problem, I have all the progressive practices drilled in my head and all the corrective practices and all the stroke analysis, in fact 3 years of practical experience, its just the damn wording of questions! I am expecting to fail, I know thats not good psychology but I won't be soooo disappointed then, just 300 pounds wasted!!!!!!

ZipadiSuzy · 01/11/2007 15:35

CD - Yes indeedy! PRAISE THE LORD for your friends good new!

CaptainDippy · 01/11/2007 15:38

Stay positive, Sooz hon - You are going to be just fine! Praying lots. xx

Enjoy the Moonsand, CC (evil stuff ) Yey for DS staying his own bed, that is fantastic!!! No I haven't listneed to the CD yet, but planning to this PM while I actually have some time to myself (yey)

MaryBS · 01/11/2007 17:58

Praying for you Sooz.

I quite like moonsand actually

CaptainCaveman · 01/11/2007 18:31

Well the floor is now a mixture of white and blue sand but i think it adds a certain ambience...... Peppa pig is also buried in the moonsand. Praying the hoover works on the spilt bits!!

Notquitegrownup · 01/11/2007 18:49

LOL CC. I mentioned to ds2, who still likes to cosleep, that moonsand could be on offer for a "big boy" who slept alone, as he has been longing for some He thought about it for a moment, but then said, nope! Maybe for a PS3!!!! (He's only 4!!!)

Hi everybody,

Thank you for the birthday wishes for the birthday boy! We have had a lovely day, played at home this morning, then went to meet DP from work this afternoon. He has had some lovely presents. I am a little that my baby is so grown up now though.

CC - praying for strength for your busy days and evenings. Enjoy hockey practice!

Podmog - what's up? Praying you will find a way out of your no-sonfidence and be lifted by Him.

DO - so pleased to hear about the breakthrough. See, I told you you was lovely

CD - what did you do this afternoon? Hope you enjoyed it!

Can someone please explain the mystery of moonsand too me???

MaryBS · 01/11/2007 20:37

Podglet, glad it went well.

Podmog, sorry to hear that things still aren't any better. This prayer speaks to me at the moment, I hope it helps you too:

Lord,
you know the memory I am avoiding
give me the courage to choose to look at it
touch it, feel it, confront it.
Show me what you wish to heal in me at this time.
Bathe me, wash me
soak me in your love, mercy and grace
so that the pain of that memory is eased away,
but leave me with the memory now redeemed
leave me the scars whilst here on earth
so that I can show them proudly to others
as I would battle honours. Amen.

Aero · 01/11/2007 20:54

Could you all please pray for my very dear friend? I had a shocking and distressing email from her late last night to say that there is a very rare large malignant tumour on her upper arm which has been there undetected for some time. It is a bone related cancer. I don't know much more than that other than the treatment is drastic and irreversible and is likely to be in the next few weeks. I will be kept informed as things develop.

I struggle with my own faith at the moment, but with what little scrap I have left, I'm praying for a monumental mountain move! She is only 38 and I'm sure this has come as a terrible shock to her and her family. TIA

pepperpots · 01/11/2007 21:21

Just a quick one to let you know that my pregnancy was indeed ectopic after almost killing me I am now recovering a broken tummy and an even more broken heart . He really does move in mysterious ways sometimes

NorthernLurker · 01/11/2007 21:29

Oh Pepperpots I am so so sorry. Will be praying for you and dh - that you may know the love of God holding you both very close and that you can make an uneventful physical recovery. Once again I'm so sorry.

harrisey · 02/11/2007 06:48

Just had a read through the thread a bit - thanks for your prayers ladies we are both a lot better, dh still very tired though.

DO - there is a Simon in first year - a really tall bloke, he's english. I'll have a look on the faces poster today to see if he is Baxter. Ours is the best known and biggest Bible College in Glasgow, and probably the only one people from outside Glasgow/Scotland would have heard of - there's also the Scottish Baptist College. How do you know him?

We are also suffering with the early mornings this week - dd1 and ds have adjusted fine, but dd2 is up at 5.30 and I'm knackered. Here I am on MN while she watched a 'Maisy' DVD!

MaryBS · 02/11/2007 07:24

Pepperpots, I'm so sorry, may God comffort and love you all at this time

Aero, praying for strength for your friend, and for God to build up your faith
