Right, summary of prayer requests from last thread......

Mars - As always, her buses have all come at once! Prayers for smooth juggling of essays, births and homelife.

Katz - Prayers for her DD as she attends another appt for her skin condition.

SueBaroo - Prayers as she has recently change her meds for depression - Prayers for this period of adjustment as she is feeling tired and weary.

MaryBS - Continued prayers for her friend N who has been hospitalised with a flesh eating bug She is making good progress atm DS has just been diagnosed with Asperger's and Mary has fears she may have the condition too, prayers for this period of adjustment and acceptance. Prayers for her studies and for her Boss at work whose mother has died suddenly.

NotSoFarNow - Has gone MIA! COME BACK!! Lots of prayers needed atm. xxxxxx Also prayers for her friend who has just had surgery for a detached retina is in a lot of pain and discomfort.

Quadrophenia - Prayers for the family of a little girl from her DS' Pre-School who has recently died while waiting on the transplant list for a new heart.

harrisey - Banish those bugs, Lord!! The harrisey household has been v.poorly of late. Prayers for her DH as he changes depression meds .....Prayers for DS who is being bullied at school, he only started in Aug.

Mummy2T&F - Her DH suddenly died while on holiday not so long ago Prayers for her & her children as they struggle to accept his abscence and for them all as they investigate the possibilty of Mafan's Syndrome possibly being a cause of death and an inherited condition for their DS.

RoseyLea - Prayers for continued much better health.....Prayer as she contemplates her "vocation" and ponders the possibility of giving up work!! Prayers for her brave DD and her eczema, particularly as it is causing a bit of bullying at school.

QueenofQuotes - Praise God her and her DH are "getting it on much better"!!!!! Prayers for her grandad who is dying, a swift, painless end, Lord, surrounded by those he loves most. xx

Bobsmum - Recently wrote off her Range Rover in a car accident while she was driving with DD in the car. Prayers for their health, that all is well after the horrid experience, especially for MiniTBean.

DD1 has her eye surgery tomorrow for her squint - V.nervous - MIL having younger 2 - pray I manage to get them down for sleeps before we have to leave tomorrow morning (10.15ish, surgery at 10.45) DD2 has been really awful about morning naps atm, she still needs them but is fighting - literally (I have the scratches and bruises to prove it!!) Pray MIL copes ok and that, most of all, DD1 is ok with being in hospital and that the surgery goes well. Going out to buy her some treats tonight. My poor baby girl.

Feeling quite panic-y and stressed atm, please pray - esp happens when I am driving, bit scary!!!!?

Ooooooh, don't worry, just beccause CaptainCaveman is on hols, we don't have to miss out on her DS' "funnies" She texted me this one yesterday .....

"Took DS to the zoo today and while we were eating lunch, he got up & went to the couple at the next table & said: "Excuse me, your smoke is making me cough!" Having fun and relaxing!"

CD will be praying for dd1 tomorrow, glad you gave us some notice, I read it as "today" and thought I was already too late...

Mary, when our children were little we had two clocks up. One real clock and one paper one which you could set the hands for. We taught them that when the two clocks looked the same they could get up. In the end they got wise to it and changed the hands of the clock, but that took some time.
Bobsmum, how are you? I thought maybe it was for the best I didn't know it was you when I talked to Adrian, I might have let all sorts of cats out of the bag.

Having a bit of stressy because instead of having a good couple of hrs or so for her morning nap, P has taken to waking up after just under an hr - stressed cos it means I have no time in the mornings to do suff and especially stresed cos I'm leaving her with MIL tomorrow morning ......

Praying for the surgery and the stress CD - it is a welcome diversion to filling in application forms! Is 8 years since I last did an application, and I am hating it. All the general stuff done now, and saved in a word doc to c and p on other apps, is the hard bit left!!

I could do with a hug and some prayers please. The problems at work could mean the loss of a multimillion pound contract, and ultimately my job...

DO - he doesn't get up early very often, but I'll bear it in mind in case it becomes a habit, thanks! He used to have a real clock in his room, but he had the habit of setting the alarm on it, and more often than not it would go off in the middle of the night!

Hi Mary - consider yourself hugged! Have prayed that you will be able to see a way through this worrying time.

Thank you all for the prayers for B - she didn't have too bad a night - and so consequently neither did I - not nearly as bad as I expected and I managed to keep calm and rational in face of scary noises - WHY does croup have to sound so alarming? Praise and thanks to God for that. Am praying this improvement continues though as DH is away tonight and I know its easy to get scared and let my imagination run away with me in the middle of the night.

Captain Dippy - praying for your daughter tomorrow but especially for you and Mr Dippy that you can be calm and know peace when she is having her op. It is hard isn't it?

Notanotter - I love your name!

CD - praying for DD1 for her op tomorrow. I have had 3 big ops on my left eye (complete corneal graft) and so know how tough it is. Praying for peace for you and DH too as you wait for her. Fingers crossed for your MIL and the 2 littlies...

DO - the new house is Fab!!! Nedds a lot of work and love but means we can make it our own. Are you better now (I remember you being poorly before you went on hols?)

Thanks for asking Podglet. I would love to say that it is all better now, but it wouldn't be true. I still wake up in the middle of the night coughing like anything and find it hard to go to sleep. I have a bottle of codeine which stops it but also stops everything else (IYKWIM) and a nasal spray. It isn't quite as bad as it was three years ago when I could neither speak nor sing without coughing for weeks, not even to pick up the phone. This year I managed the practice for the choir festival, which was just before we went on holiday. I'm still shattered after the holiday, I am much too much of a perfectionist for my own good and did too much running around after the other three. They did appreciate it though, especially my sister-in-law who is not used to people trying to find out what she would like to do or to eat etc.

hello everyone - sorry i don't pop on more often (too busy not doing very well winding my neck in on contentious threads!)

But I wanted to give a praise report - my meds have settled down, and the side effects are pretty much non-existent. I'm sleeping much better, and the pain is well under control, thankyou for your prayers!

Prayers for me today please for energy and grace - I found out yesterday that I have to go on a course today for work (grrrrrrrrrrrr) and I had a lovely morning planned - I was going to go to church on my own for the short communion service and then go food shopping - instead I've got to go and sit in a classroom! I was at the leadership course last night and didn't get back until gone 11 and this course today is quite a drive away, somewhere I don't really know, so please pray that I'll not get lost and that it'll all go really well.

Thank you for your prayers, I slept reasonably well, although still coughing. I may start a thread on the health topic and see if anybody else is troubled this way. Apparently Zac has a cough as well now, makes me feel quite guilty. Prayers for CD's dd1 this morning.

Suebaroo (+many os) so good to see prayers of praise and so glad you are feeling better.
NAO don't look at us, we are just right plonkers, plodding along with you. You don't need religion, you need Jesus. If you want to know more about Him and how He loves you and gives you the strength to walk in His ways, try and find a copy of Mark's gospel. There are lots of us who will help you find your way to the Lord Jesus. And maybe there is a local church near you where they do an Alpha course, that is as good a way in as any. Keep posting, so we can love you along the way.

Prayers needed here please - DP and I are suffering with the cold DS had last week. DP has struggled into work because it is coming up to the mad time of year for accountants and I am struggling at home. DS is miserable because he is cutting another tooth, the third in 10 days poor little mite is really sore.

Rosey, sorry to hear your plans were spoiled, hope the course is beneficial for you and you get your lovely morning at home soon.

DO - glad you got a better night too and that things continue to improve for you I can sympathise a little with the coughing at the mo, though not on the same scale I am sure
