All having lunch together. All of us round the table is normally an evening meal thing.

A kind message from my boss after a tricky few days at work.
Walks with DH and DS2.

Chatting to neighbours over the hedges.
Listening to the birds.

An afternoon reading by the fire.
Not sure when I did that last.
Heaven.

Rediscovering reading. Halfway through Barchester Towers. Proud of myself for sticking with it and getting into it.

DH. 💖 He drives me mad but I would be lost without him.

Today was not all sweetness and light by any means but these were the good things.

Continued glorious weather
Herbal tea
Continued safety of all my family

Not having a good day today, but thankful I am able to put food on the table for my DS and that no one close to me is suffering with COVID19

@unhappyclap sorry you’re having a rubbish day today. I’ve felt really anxious and low today- more than my usual 🤷🏽‍♀️. I’ve had a shower and finally got dressed about 3pm.

Today will be a better day, unhappy and orchid. One day at a time. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. It's really hard, but try just to focus on the now and not think to much about then or next

DH has done a mountain of ironing which I detest doing.

More of a routine today.

It's so hard isn't it and there will always be good and bad days.

It is amazing how when you try there is always something good to be thankful for even on the worst days.

Finding an engaging series on Netflix (Alias Grace, if you're interested) to immerse myself in for a few hours this evening

Years ago someone told me that each breath is a gift from God. I've tried to remember that from time to time but suddenly it's taken on new meaning.

Now every morning when I wake up and my heart tries to sink at the memory of what's going on, I take a deep breath and thank God for the ability to have a good lungful of air. And then another, and another...

I believe that absolutely, amicissimma. Especially after watching my mum die from cavitating pneumonia, I give thanks for every easy breath we take.

A really nice relaxed and slow Sunday at home today.
