Milk man came a day early ( we have him three times per week) so we have milk for the bank holiday weekend.

It’s a lovely sunny day again.

Optimist1 · 09/04/2020 11:42

Walk in the sunshine and the time to exchange pleasantries with people I don't know (observing the cordon sanitaire, obvs!)
The positive attitudes most of my friends and family are still able to maintain
Seeing a tour of a Picasso exhibition at the Royal Academy online, which almost made up for the fact my arrangement to see it in person was cancelled a couple of weeks ago

Lessstressedhemum · 09/04/2020 23:59

A peaceful day
A good chat with ds2
Dds new liooy arrived today so that cheered her up. Might seem shallow but because uni is closed and travel is restricted there's no way she can get enough of her anti anxiety meds to last till uni goes back, so the doc has advised weaning herself off them. So she's having withdrawal symptoms and extra anxiety, so a new lippy from beauty bay is a small price to pay to help her feel better.

@Lessstressedhemum hope that dd withdrawal symptoms subside. It’s a worrying enough time for everyone without having underlying MH issues.

Spent a bit of time in the garden weeding and pruning. In fact one bush looks more like bonsai now! It was just the right temperature for me outside. It was lovely.

According to an email, Boots order should be coming later today it contains essentials such as sanpro and hayfever meds so I’ll be glad when it’s delivered. Also managed to get the mint shower gel that dh likes which is good. He needs to make the most of it though as I may decant it to the soap pump if we/ when run of soap!

Mitsouko67 · 10/04/2020 23:49

The little purple flowers that have appeared on the grass verges by my road. The verges have not understandably been mown for a while and some lovely flowers have grown. I don’t know what they are but they are so pretty.

Lessstressedhemum · 13/04/2020 18:38

They might be vetch, orchid if they are upright. Or self heal if they are low growing and sprawly. Or forget me nots, if they are tiny. All purple, all wild and all beautiful.
