What an absolutely beautiful thread!
I am going to add Pura Rasa's meditations. Recommended by another poster, these are stunning. Rasa's voice is so soothing and the visuals are beautiful as well.

It’s raining here and I’d normally detest rain but actually the garden needs it and it’s washed a layer of filth off the car so actually I am grateful. I shall still go for a walk later so hopefully it will be even quieter!

Just found this thread and exactly the uplifting place I need to be

I found out yesterday my company is going into liquidation and I will be redundant - 1 day before my hard fought for severance package was due

However was grateful for:

Supportive words and hugs from DH & DC
Wonderful, kind and encouraging messages from colleagues
Listening to dd's piano lesson via Skype
A call from my lovely sister & my Dad
Being held in prayer by my house group on WhatsApp
The knowledge in my heart the God has a plan for me and it is good

That sucks, Jack. Things will work out for the best, though.

Rain to nourish the soil
A break from the heat that means I can wear my favourite snuggly jumper
Prayer and quietness in God.

@jackstini sorry for your bad news. I’m glad you found solace in prayer.

Today I’m grateful for FaceTime chat with parents. Sunshine to wake up to.

That's hard Jackstini . Good family ,friends and colleagues understand and are being supportive.

Kids were quiet today while I rested.

When I got to the chemist today, there was no queue and the rain had paused.
I was worried about being in a long queue but it was ok. It is a silly thing but it really helped my day.

A call from my sister to check in on how I was

Coming home after a long day at the hospital
My dad, who made a big tray of macaroni cheese and s batch of brownies to feed the family while I was away. It was so could not to have to come home and start cooking.
