Thank you for this thread.

‘The quiet strength of faith’ has just resonated with me.

Grateful for small blessings:

Lovely hot cup of Earl Grey in favourite cup.
A patch of snowdrops - really looked at them
Unexpected text from a friend I hadn’t heard from for a while.
Bunch of daffs in a blue jug.
Central heating and a dry house

@Lessstressedhemum Thank you.

The wind knocked down the trellis supporting the (overgrown) honeysuckle in the garden last night - pruning it back hard this afternoon I could see many green shoots at its base so what I thought was going to be a horticultural disaster will probably give it a new lease of life 😊
Remembering I’d done the usual Sunday ironing earlier in the week having been at home 👍🏼
Lovely sunshine today - the best day of half term by far.

Lessstressedhemum · 24/02/2020 21:42

Some time spent with my dad today
The ability to make nutritious, delicious meals out of almost nothing (haven't had much chance to go shopping lately)
A warm home

Great work family who help me through a stressful job
Happening up a lovely thread as I mooch around MN and contemplate what to “do “ for lent ( I prefer this to giving up something- makes me think more)

Last day of DD's visit, but in spite of feeling sad I am so grateful to have spent time with her
