Faith and family after a challenging few weeks.

I'm counting my blessings today sitting in front of a gorgeous log fire, burning away merrily and with a few Christmas cookery books on the table, ready for browsing. I've lit some candles, the cat is cuddled up on the sofa beside me and I'm thinking about pouring a G&T at 6 😊🍸.

Today I'm feeling especially grateful for my husband and for a peaceful, secure and contended life.

Listening to the rain against the windows, knowing that I am warm and dry inside

Hi everyone
I dropped off this thread but did a short 5 minute gratitude led meditation today and it reminded me of you.

I still do a daily gratitude practice with my 9 year every bedtime and have done since he was tiny. It really is lovely. Every night, apart from something that's happened that day he ALWAYS starts with my friends and my family- listing all 9 of us including the cat! I think that may partly be a bedtime delaying tactic though

Today I am grateful for water! Fresh clean water. The ability to turn on the tap when I'm thirsty, when I need to wash dishes or have a bath or shower. How blessed we are to have this at our fingertips. The Water Aid advert came on the other day in between a daytime movie and I was explaining to my son how lucky we are to have this.

So today I am grateful for easy accessible fresh cold water and the means to heat it easily.
