Or Wiccans. or Pagans? Or anyone who is interested in a magical path or feels some magical stirrings.

A place for support, learning, swapping ideas and magical inspiration.

I don't want to do the hair and picture burning because it can seriously harm people.

speakout · 16/08/2019 06:38

Welcome Milesmiley that sounds terrifying.
I have a lot of experience in spellwork but my first action would be to report this to the police.

Good morning. It must have been the night for deep sleep and dreams speakout. I too slept deeply and dreamt of being on safari and surrounded by wild animals! I didn't feel frightened, but in awe of their power and beauty. I will meditate down later and ask what that was about, as I feel there was a message there.

I'm feeling refreshed this morning and ready for the weekend. I was so tired last night after work and a yoga class, I didn't even think to look at the full moon, but I feel recharged by her energy.

Miley welcome to the thread. I agree with speakout that the Police should be your first point of call. It must be very frightening for you.

Bessel I'm a firm believer in following your own path. We're all on our own journeys and will feel called by different things. I would say, try anything that you feel attracted too (so long as it's won't bring any harm to yourself or others). Work in the light and always ask for protection and you won't go far wrong.

Rosa did the coin toss help you make your decision? If you're still undecided, I'd be happy to read for you. I have a spread I use specifically t o help with decision making.

Mileysmiley · 16/08/2019 09:51

@speakout

No he is harmless ... he hasn't done anything to hurt me he is just obsessed.

StumpyinSomerset · 16/08/2019 09:57

Does anyone have a spell to get rid of a stalker

I've had this happen to me - also harmless just obsessed.
I wrote their name on a piece of paper, put it into a tub of water, then into the freezer.
Never heard from them since.

speakout · 16/08/2019 10:07

Just back from an amazing Vinyasa flow yoga class.

The theme today was heart opening- very much in tune with what I am working with right now.
"Opens your heart so love like confetti can spread out and flow in".
I feel energised. Just having a late breakfast before work starts.
VioletCharlotte I love the sound of your wild animals, some deep forces there!

Have a magical day eveyone.

Violet Thanks, I've made my decision. It's a "don't do it".

Most of the times I'm faced with a do or don't, I generally regret it if I do. This also involves spending money which is never good; potentially money that will be a total waste if the exercise doesn't work out.

I also did a very rational pros and cons list. The cons list was a mile long.

Miley Stumpy The tub of water and freezer thing is fascinating! However, the first thing I'd say about a stalker is that they are causing harm with the act of stalking, so Miley, this person isn't "harmless".

You may like to explore pendulum work- really good for yes/no situations.

Just a general thought - sometimes there can be such a gap between who you are and who you want to be, it gets too tempting to try and cross an unrealistic gap. I feel like this is particularly relevant to being earthed and grounded, if that makes sense?

RosaWaiting · 16/08/2019 10:54

speakout cross post

I might try that in future for things that don't have financial implications Grin

BlankTimes · 16/08/2019 10:54

I've just written a long reply which has disappeared into another dimension...

@SalemSpellman Sparkle on today girl! Reflect and conquer!

Speakout more serendipity with Filled Soda and the open heart - wonderful.

Miley GO TO THE POLICE
List all instances and keep a diary of anything, even if it's trivial. *Stumpy's freezer suggestion works well, also try a cutting the cords meditation, but primarily, Police.

Hello all, may I join? I'm re-discovering my craft after a number of years and am so loving it.

I'd love to know how people include their children in their craft/celebrations etc.

YashmisCrone · 16/08/2019 11:16

Hello friends,
Just catching up a bit. I’ve been having a wearing week but feel lifted by timely support given by a dear friend. The goddess at work!

I read the gratitude discussion with interest. It seems such an important energy for a happy and magical life doesn’t it. I also think it’s a key ingredient of manifesting magic. Gratitude helps us feel the feelings we crave from the thing we want to manifest and in turn we attract what we’re emitting I think.

Wonderful to hear of the deep sleep, insightful dreams and open hearted energy. The divine feminine vibe is high amongst us! My favourite pendant that represents the divine feminine to me had a lovely moon bath last night and is zingy and ready to support me through the coming days. A fallen oak branch I brought back from the woods was also charged in the full moon, ready for it’s leaves to be dried and used in oak baths.

My new EO’s have arrived speakout I’m experimenting with blends for bath salts and my oil burners (I have them all over the place at work and home!) I’ve been discovering ‘recipes’ for blends meant for diffusers to inspire me. Thought some of them might be fun for spa showers too.

I’m hoping for some time for kitchen witching later- some abundance work using apples. I haven’t decided on a recipe yet.

Rosa I saw this and thought of you:

Wishing everyone a magical Friday 💫

Oh, things move fast around hear!

Miley I agree with the sentiment of the others, I have had success with freezer spells and cord cutting and agree that obsessive behaviour/stalking is not harmless. I would also keep a log and consider reporting it.

Welcome MildDrPepperAddiction, it’s good to have you join us. Mine’s quite a nature based path so when I mine was little we’d connect with nature a lot, notice the change in seasons, I’d share correspondences re colour, food ingredients complimentary remedies animal medicine magic etc. I found this all to fit well with a child’s curiosity

speakout · 16/08/2019 11:28

MildDrPepperAddiction

A very warm welcome, glad you could join us- how exciting that you are turning to your craft again.

I have been very careful not to lead my children into my pagan ways. I have lots of ( christian) indoctrinated kids in my family and I really wanted my own children to come to their own decisions rather than raising them in a pagan way.

However- and it is quite a big however I came to realise that isn't entirely possible, so much of "normal" or secular society has such a pagan flavour, Christmas, Halloween, Easter etc, that raising children with no exposure to pagan ways is pretty impossible.
So I guess I compromised, I would embrace Oestre, with colouring eggs, Easter egg hunts, and Easter tree, etc- same with Christmas, a tree, stockings all the acceptable pagan things.

I have not exposed them to my spellwork, or divination, or Tarot, in fact it's only in the past couple of years that my children ( now 19 and 21) have found out I am a witch.
Of course it came as no surprise, as Mummy was always drying herbs or had good luck charms around, used essential oils etc.

And my DD has now started herr own magical journey, showing a particular skill with Tarot.

Sorry for the long winded answer- I guess the short of it is that I didn't want to raise my children as pagan- they alone could make that choice.

Happy Friday fellow witchy ones, I hope everyone had a special Full Moon

A big hello to @BesselVanDerKolk I too felt stirrings to reconnect with my witchy side, about 18 months ago now, you’re in the perfect place for collective wisdom, enjoy your re-connection.

Felling very low energy after a turbulent nights sleep, it always happens around the full moon, I also menstruate with the full moon so it always feels a bit overwhelming. Had a very special connection with my cards last night, feel like we really had a great connection, am still pondering the insight.

Today will spend swigging Star Child Dragon tea to try and give me some fire, I have the house to myself tonight so I’m going to do a longer moon bathe, a magical bath and some chanting to set myself up for the weekend.

@YashmisCrone thank you for sharing the urban witch article, it was very inspirational, I intend to embrace my city for craft rather than assuming I have to escape to get connected

Woodlandwitch · 16/08/2019 11:57

My menstruation also normally councides with the full moon but came slightly early this month.

I have no idea why but last night I felt drained where usually I am full of energy and spirit on a full moon.

FilledSoda · 16/08/2019 12:15

YashmisCrone
Gratitude helps us feel the feelings we crave from the thing we want to manifest and in turn we attract what we’re emitting I think.

Yes that's it exactly !
That make perfect sense to me. It's the same logic as not dwelling on fear of failure, like attracts like , or maybe as above so below Wink

FilledSoda · 16/08/2019 12:23

I enjoyed that urban witch link YashmisCrone. I don't feel that same pull to nature that many here do.
I live in a city by choice after growing up in a rural community.
I love the noise , the people , the energy of it .
I can practice happily here.

YashmisCrone · 16/08/2019 13:07

Interesting about the urban witching. I lived in a city for many years until fairly recently and was also happy to practice there. I was lucky enough to have coast and moors within easy driving distance so was blessed with the best of both worlds. I agree, connecting with uncultivated space isn’t an essential component for witchcraft, it just so happens that many of us on this thread are drawn to this type of practice. It’s about harnessing and working with the energy around you isn’t it. Interesting what she says in the article about genius loci work.

I’m glad that makes sense to you FilledSoda, reading it back it’s a bit of a busy sentence Grin

My menstruation used to coincide with the full moon too, it can feel draining can’t it- all that concentrated energy.

I’m (purposefully) on go slow today. Much needed energy management!

speakout · 16/08/2019 13:35

Interesting link about urban witching.

I have lived in the city too for quite some time and happily practiced my craft, but like YashmisCrone the sea and woodland places were within easy reach and I would visit wild places very regularly. So was alwas able to keep in touch with nature. All my homes in the citfy were packed full of plants too.
I am at heart a country person, I find cities deafening with sensory input, I am lucky to live very close to a vibrant city but my home is surrounded by ancient woodland.

Just been listening to this song.

I find it so hard to find good pagan music.

Urban witching - I think this ia Amerenglish " Cast glamours on yourself to avoid being noticed by solicitors" ROFL.

Another thing we have that's very different from 'New World' cities is that ours have often several thousands of years of history and despite being in an urban environment now, some of those ancient places survive. Most people just walk past and don't even know they exist. www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=8349

Here's a few in Edinburgh www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=2146414343

Also if you want to connect to the ancient, look for wells and springs, there are so many in all towns and cities, again often ignored as Joe Public goes about his day.

Not in a city but this one has its own address www.megalithic.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=a312&file=index&do=showpic&pid=166022

London also has a network of underground rivers, I'm sure it's not the only city that has.

Some ancient stones are either left in situ or are incorporated into later buildings like these www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=7572

Urban witching here can still have visual connections to the ancient, whereas in the New World, it's very much different.

Hello sisters,

Thank you for the support that you have given me over the last few days. Yesterday got off to a difficult start as the space suit was hard to get used to, I had worn it in by the afternoon and today it was like a second skin. I have absolute faith in the space suit and it had the ability to make me completely invisible to my nobber boss.

I'm now looking forward to some respite at home before going on holiday to my spiritual homeland of Dorset.

Sending lots of love and good vibes to you all.

beehivemind · 16/08/2019 17:03

Hi everyone

Just popping in to say I love your name @BesselVanDerKolk. I'm a big fan of The Body Keeps The Score and have heard BvdK speak several times. Welcome to the group.

I'm going to mark 8pm today, and hope to make this a more regular thing
