KSM - DD had operation last Thurs (5th) to remove adnoids & have grommets fitted. No news yet.

PandaG - Praise God her friend's DD who was in hospital has had a DX for her rash & is home, feeling a lot better. Prayers for Panda as she is feeling low atm.

Suzy - Prayers for DNephew who has been admitted to hospital because his kidneys are leaking urine.

tasja - On-going prayers for her child-minding business to pick up.

fannyannie - Things are going well with DS3 and DH - Prayers this would continue and get better & better!

BedofRosesitAint - Prayers that she would be able to sort childcare out for Sept.

CarGirl - Prayers for increased intimacy with God.

CaptainCaveman - Praise God for the "all clear" result reiceved for A & J from her church! Lots of prayers for DSis who is drinking a lot again & not doing well, prayers of protection for her DNiece.

LaurieFairyCake - Welcome! Prayers for her & her family as they struggle to make ends meet financially at this time.

NASWM - Lots of prayers for her & her family as her DH gos through gruelling treatment for liver failure. NASWM also requested prayers for her friend K who has cancer but is too ill to recieve Chemo at the present time.

CaptainDippy - Praise God that Adam is recovering so well, prayers for this to continue. Prayers for her as she struggles with tiredness and anxiety.

Hi everyone! Well, I'm back at home now and the surgery went fantastically well All the pain has gone from my leg and bum - now it's just the incision that hurts! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers - it means a lot.

All I need now is for people to make me rest up and not do too much. I'm not very good at doing nothing, particularly when I am feeling fine

Podmog {{hugs}} I do hope that you feel better soon, and that you are able to get the time you need to recupreate.

DO thank you for your concern about my overdoing it! I know it's easy to get carried away and end up an exhuasted wreck! (Been there, done that!) Funnily enough the thing that helps me not to get too bsusy is having Crohns disease - I know that if I don't get enough sleep I lay myself open for a relapse, and so I am much more aware of my own needs than I used to be pre-crohns.

Well I've been at the hospital this morning, chaplaincy-visiting (iyswim!) I had one conversation with a lady who had had a very traumatic time with heart problems, and as the convo went on she told me that she had gone to church for the first time last week and was absolutely blown away by the service and had decided to start going to church regularly...and guess what? It is my church that she has gone to! How cool is that? If you could pray for her, that as she is reaching out to God He will also reach out to her with his love.

Btw I have't introduced myself to Morocco and Tiggerish so I am 33 y o, I live in Hertfordshire and have a dd aged nearly 5 and ds aged 3.5. I often post about my dd's health as she suffers from v. bad excema (which is actually really good atm, thank God!). So that's me!

Just come home to fetch DD from school. She has suspected German Measles. She has a rash and is a bit flushed, but otherwise feels fine. Seeing the Dr at 5:20. This puts us coming to the meet-up in jeopardy

Oooooh, quick update on Adam .....Just had this email .....

"Just wanted to let you know I had a voicemail from Claire this morning, Adam has been moved to a normal hospital in Banbury and has started his speech therapy and physical therapy today. He gets very tired and fristrated, but Jim is cheering him up a lot and helping him start to get better.

I am so grateful for everyone's support that you have emailed, I know Adam is probably mortified at how famous he is now!!! But thank you, he needed it. And if anyone ever deserved a bit of help, it's Adsy."

Rosey, that is really cool, glad it went so well. And how cool is that that God put you in front of that lady - she was blown away by the service, just think how blown away she must feel that someone from her 'new' church family happened to be by her bedside!!!

Just been reading Mr Uppity to ds and he was trying to mimic me doing a posh-mr-uppity voice. Hee hee, wish I could have recorded him, he sounds so cute and funny!!

Must sort out a Christmas meet up - only thing is the Tooth Fairly will have to be there. After all, she does live with Santa

Prayers for Podmog/WB.

My aunt has cancer, she is now totally blind and confined to a wheelchair. Its really sad. Her side of the family always kept themselves to themselves (lived in the same town as my parents but we only ever saw them once a year, unless we met by accident), so we never knew she was ill for a long time.

Please pray for a friend's dad. He had a heart attack this am, never had one before, so totally unexpected. My friend found out tonight - she is pretty upset. Not sure how serious it is...

In the middle of packing so have to be quick .....

Mary thats awful - praying for your aunt and your friends dad. How are you in the middle of it all? Praying God holds you close to Him too as you support those around you.

Was a bit wobbly again this morning but wanted to say Thank You God for the lovely white chocolate mice ds and I shared at teatime. Yummy!!
