I think I'm going to do some workings tonight so frustrating not to be able to burn anything though

Frostyapples · 20/01/2019 20:48

@BartonHollow could you burn things outside in small dish maybe? Or look at other ways of replicating the fire element? Could you place a crystal or something that represent fire to you instead? Chilli comes to mind as a way of adding heat and fire? Perhaps even rubbing your hands together to make heat? I often use led battery candles when I am in places where there is a fire risk.

VioletCharlotte · 20/01/2019 20:48

Queenrollo so sorry you're feeling so anxious. Totally understandable. I hope your work tonight helps you and you're able to get a good nights sleep and all is well tomorrow.

Yashmis well done on the ice candle! I keep meaning to have a go.

Barton sending energy and strength for a better week

Frosty your walk sounds beautiful. I now what you mean about the energy, you can feel if crackly in the air.

Sending love and calm to you all for a relaxing nights sleep, and positivity for the week ahead ❤️

queenrollo · 20/01/2019 20:59

I have cast a spell, and had a little meditation and I feel calmer. I am just about to wrap up and go outside to see if it is clear and I can talk to the moon for a little while.

BartonHollow · 20/01/2019 21:02

I have got a WoodWick @Frostyapples I just can't burn the paper intent - I'd have to immediately douse it in water but I can't guarantee the level of smoke. It's the smoke more than the fire that's the problem

YashmisCrone · 20/01/2019 21:05

Lovely to hear of everyone’s workings on this special night. I’m not working with this moon but will go outside to soak up it’s power.

Barton the candle I lit on your behalf is still burning here- sending it’s fire energy your way for your work tonight

speakout · 20/01/2019 21:37

YashmisCrone
o interesting to hear of your adventures with your ice candle.
The making process is not very elegant!! I use lots of tape, anything heavy I can find- displacing the water takes some weight or secure taping.
Taking it out of the mould can be tricky, but best done swiftly- hot water to the inside and outside. Once that is done then I think best to put back in the freezer for another hour to harden up again, I have several in progress, although soon time to say goodble to the Caillach. This has been a wonderful winter to deepen my understanding of her.

Today has been a crazy busy day,
Sometimes I feel as if I have no weekends.
I have been working, DD working some distance away, early lifts to train station for her, OH has been on call all day and working most of that, DS working early shift so again needing lifts, mother needing lift to church and brought back two church friends for lunch, all the family needing meals/packed lunch/mothers church friends.
Tomorrow is not much different except OH is out to work.
DD still here tomorrow as her and DS working again- as am I.

I did manage a one hour body pump class today and a walk in the woods.
Fairly tired now though, and a 6am start tomorrow,.

Thank you for the ice candle tips speakout- I’m excited to try more.

What a weekend, I hope you sleep well and that somewhere amongst tomorrow there’s a little respite and space to breathe x

CandleIit · 21/01/2019 04:51

Anyone looking at the moon right now?

speakout · 21/01/2019 06:14

Morning, I didn't see the moon, but slept like a log, woken up very refreshed.

It's a very hard frost here, everything white.

OP posts:
CandleIit · 21/01/2019 06:45

Everything is frost here in the south too. I thought it had snowed at first. I also slept well and bounced out of bed at 0430 to see the moon.

Frostyapples · 21/01/2019 06:49

I did get up to see the moon but it's too foggy here to see anything sadly. A terrible night's sleep any way as the moon energy kept me awake

speakout · 21/01/2019 06:49

CandleIit

Well done for catching the moon.
I was too tired to make it.

I hope you have a magical day- I am bracing myself to see the beginning of the effects of change- parliament included!

Yes! It was interesting to read in that article posted earlier that it can signify a change in power.

queenrollo · 21/01/2019 07:26

It was clouded over last night, and then I woke naturally at 5.20am so I came downstairs to see if I could catch the moon. Infuriatingly the strip of cloud in an otherwide clear sky was covering the moon!
I stood in the garden anyway and felt the energy and the very fresh air!
I didn't get back to sleep so I will be early to bed tonight.

This is the first time since my youngest son was born that I won't have him home on his birthday and I feel a little emotional at this - it feels like a rite of passage.

VioletCharlotte · 21/01/2019 07:49

It's disappointingly mild and cloudy here. Got up early to walk the dog and was hoping to see the blood moon, but it was too cloudy. No frost either.

HillsBesideTheSea · 21/01/2019 08:05

Super cloudy here, lots of weird dreams last night though and kept waking up. Feel better for having done things for me yesterday. I did light a candle and try to connect with you all but my energies are (unsurprisingly) rather blocked atm. I think I am going to have to put my mother in the freezer (figuratively not literally). I just can't handle her drama atm.

HillsBesideTheSea · 21/01/2019 08:08

queenrollo having had to deal with this years ago due to split custody my recommendation is to plan to do something nice for you and to keep busy where needed/possible. It helps with the first time. I hope that today isn't too hard for you

BeyondShattered · 21/01/2019 08:21

So XH has paid a deposit and has a moving date, and I (hopefully if not cancelled...!) have a date tonight. Thank you moon Grin

queenrollo · 21/01/2019 09:16

HillsBesideTheSea I've not really mentioned it before on here, but I have split custody of my eldest child and have done for 11 years now. His dad and I are friends (the early days were rough though) so we've often managed to arrange a joint birthday lunch or cuppa. But I am kind of used to the absence of a child on special days.
I'm ok with today, I am taking my eldest back to his dad's in a moment (he's Home Educated, so no school) and then I am going to come home and bake a birthday cake for dinner tonight.

YashmisCrone · 21/01/2019 09:42

It was cloudy here too. I went out during the night- cloud cover but glorious energy. I wanted some pictures but my phone never does the moon justice. I woke again naturally around 5, rolled over and went back to sleep- I think I needed it!

But it’s the start of a new week, there’s change in the air and I feel a new sense of strength and determination along with anticipation. I was up and getting on with it this morning, a busy week ahead and it seems I mean business!

Wishing everyone a good day

speakout · 21/01/2019 10:36

A change of energy here today too.
I took my son to work early this morning and just before dawm the sky was a deep deep indigo- I've never noticed that before- we drove along the coast road and the sea reflected the startling colour.

Sokere · 21/01/2019 10:53

I feel a different energy. Hoping it's nicer for me this time around. Was too wary of doing any further moon work but feeling calmly optimistic this morning...and slept soundly for the first time in weeks so that has to be a good sign!
