Yes rushing by but wanted to say YES!! I absolutely feel the three of cups energy is what we have generated here.

It’s a sacred, beautiful and uplifting energy to have in our lives and I’m very grateful for your facilitation of that speakout X

So glad to hear things are calmer now 💜

Blessed be beautiful sisters x

Sok1ere · 12/02/2019 13:21

Hey everyone! Didn't think I'd get back in. Had to re-register so slight name variation.

@speakout so sorry to hear about your mother (I wasn't able to log in so sorry I was unable to post anything to you) but glad things are calmer right now. Like your tarot card btw.. It is one I pick quite a lot too. Also having 3 of swords and the tower. A lot. HmmAngry Too many times to ignore or dismiss as coincidence but really don't know what it could mean.

Anyway, nice to be back after a little exile x

BlankTimes · 12/02/2019 15:43

Hi Barton Hollow
Yes, you do need to have that conversation.

Tell any interfering third party to keep their beak out because the reading is between you and your client.
For future reference, never enter into a discussion with someone who stickybeaks, shut it down immediately. Make sure they know in no uncertain terms you will not breach your client's confidentiality.

Maybe keep your readings confidential in future, or be more selective about who you choose to read for?
Don't read for someone who will gush to a third party, particularly if that third party knows both of you. Tell clients before you start what is and is not acceptable re discussion with other people.

Have a look at the code of ethics for people who need insurance to practise complementary therapies, it should give you a few pointers.
There are loads around, this one's for herbalists.

queen hang in there, it's early days yet, as long as each day is fractionally better than the last, it's an improvement. I know it's so hard to see that when you're in the midst of it all, but it will get better Flowers

ninja the sleep thing is baffling, I can get to sleep, but if woken , then I can't return to sleep, odd and frustrating.

Hills glitter hairspray sounds great!

Speakout oh that's great news, your Mum's home and on the mend, lovely Flowers

Sok1ere welcome back, kettle's on Smile

BartonHollow · 12/02/2019 18:17

@BlankTimes

It was odd in that, I have read for the other person and have always said to them and anyone else

I ALWAYS tell every client that I won't disclose to other people and so they can't expect me to disclose other people's to them and I have said this before to this person.

Person was like "Why did you say X, when in my opinion it could just as easily apply to Y"

Despite not being privy to the full reading or the conversation that had unfolded and the only answer I could have given truthfully was

"I said x because it was in line with her other cards and her responses to them" only I wasn't quick enough and because I couldn't think of how to say that on the spot without giving away private information I just said :

"If you think it's the other thing it could well be and feel free to tell her that"

Which I think isn't a bad answer on the spot but I will have to follow it up

This person

A) knows my readings are in confidence
B) wasn't privy to the actual reading
C) doesn't read cards!

It's actually someone I get on really well with so I was surprised she was funny about it

HillsBesideTheSea · 12/02/2019 23:30

Barton I hope you manage to get the situation resolved without too much hassle.

Speakout glad you were refreshed when you woke, hope the day was not too draining on you

Sok1ere I have a pot of nettle tea, want a cup? Nice to have you back

queenrollo tell me more about the almond. Is it a tree? a shrub? Our snowdrops are fading now. Thankfully our hellebores are now blooming so there is still colour. It is just not as confident as the brilliant white of the snowdrops.

violet has the pup managed to escape the cone yet?

So i finally did something to act on the lesson dreams other than gain insight. I went to my first Pilates class. I would like to say I feel great - old and unfit is more like it but looking forwards to the next one.

I am working on a few of the other bits. They need thinking on in the implementation, although some of the things I can't implement complete change easily because involves other people is being solved in part by them having more knowledge of the issue. Never did get around to putting my mother figuratively in the freezer. We exchanged words and she told me she hates it when I am right - but she is doing much better in herself now, so that resolved itself. February is looking more like a month of hope.

That said I am hoping for a night without dream lessons. I am tired, and there are muscles that I had forgotten about that are making their opinions known...

May you all have restful nights and wake refreshed.

BlankTimes · 13/02/2019 00:51

Barton
"Person was like "Why did you say X, when in my opinion it could just as easily apply to Y""

'Thank-you, I've given my interpretation' followed by a beatific smile and a Zen expression.
Sometimes the less vocab, the better the response.

Hills Pilates is great, talk to your instructor about being achy.
I find a soak in Himalayan salts and some Mag sulph crystals or Magnesium flakes melt the aches away and leave my skin lovely and soft.

Here's to a good night's sleep all round!

FilledSoda · 13/02/2019 06:16

Morning everyone ,

I'm just getting a quick coffee before I get ready for work.

Yoga last night , I drag myself out in the dark when I'd rather be settling in for the night but I'm almost always glad I went.
I am going to a different teacher now and she makes me feel so welcome .
She lets me do as much as I can and doesn't draw attention to to the things I can't .

We were doing yin yoga and poses that were designed to open our chests.
One in particular we sat with a bolster behind the knees and arched back taking deep breaths.
It made me so sad , I could have weeped. Was this literally opening the heart chakra?

I think Reiki is on the cards.

I'll check in later .

Have a good day lovelies.

HillsBesideTheSea · 13/02/2019 06:38

Blanktimes due to my medical issues I was being assessed to see if it would be problematic so closely watched in the class. Only achy because so out of condition. My upper shoulders have no tension for the first time in ages, And the aching is just due to working muscles that are badly out of condition from 3 years of bed rest I ended up with a while back. Instructor is happy with the situation and I know that it will settle in time as muscles work properly again. I have signed up to the class so hopefully regular work with gently speed up the reconditioning that is necessary. That said I have an epsom salt bath on the to do list once the morning craziness has passed. It was impossible last night due to homework needing help and then being too tired. Actually impressed with how little muscle problems I have this morning so really happy! It feels marvelous to be able to breathe without being constricted by tight back muscles.

Off to run some pre-school errands. Apparently I forgot to replace the corrupted memory stick and it is needed for school this morning. Opps.

speakout · 13/02/2019 06:51

Good morning sisters. Just finished a coffee and about to get dressed, will take DS to work then on to my body pump class ( they are nearby).

FilledSoda That's so interesting about yoga making you feel emotional.
These type of exercises like yoga and pilates work on an emotional level too- I have seen several people in tears during a class- they can release huge emotion as we work on tension in our body.
I've not seen the weather forecast today but I have a very loud dawn chorus of birds outside my bedroom window which is lovely.

Have a great day everyone.

HillsBesideTheSea The almond is a tree. We planted it about 6 years ago and have had a crop off it the last few years. Enough to fill a washing up bowl. The flowers are such an amazing pink and it is always so welcome when the winter garden has felt so sad.

Other stirrings in the garden are the rhubarb crowns and the wild garlic. I love this time of year, seeing the small promise of green shoots.

YashmisCrone · 13/02/2019 09:44

Good morning,

Just checking in really. Good to read everyone’s updates, don’t have much energy to contribute right now but I like to connect.

There’s a few things weighing on me which, once cleared I know will give me a lighter energy. Nothing serious, just a collection of small ongoing concerns that I have the power (just need to find the energy!) to clear.

For now I’m trying to breathe through it, one foot in front of the other and all that!

My deck keeps presenting me with this card which is encouraging I think Smile

Hope everyone has a good day

Any Witches Here? Part 6
Sok1ere · 13/02/2019 11:32

@YashmisCrone Yes, that is a nice card to pull. I'm not feeling so positive right now. Can't shake this feeling of foreboding no matter what I do.

Am meeting up with some friends for lunch so I'm hoping that will help shift this anxiety.

Hope everyone has a good day.

VioletCharlotte · 13/02/2019 13:23

Hello everyone, just catching up. It's a lovely day here, so nice to see some sunshine. The scenery on my drive into work was beautiful. The sun was covered by the mist, so looked pure white like the moon.

Barton with tarot, my belief is that the cards are just a channel, spirit tells us what to say. So my reply to your friend would be "this is what I was told" (followed by blanktimes enigmatic smile and zen expression!)

Filled I'm so pleased you're enjoying yoga. I love yin 😊 It's not unusual at all to get emotional, as it works on the fascia and tissue, so goes really deep. It's pretty amazing!

I've just been asked to do tarot readings at a wellbeing fair in April. Slightly nervous as this will my first 'public' event, but very excited and flattered to be asked.

Elphame · 13/02/2019 15:23

Congratulations on the tarot booking VioletCharlotte Smile

Not such a great day here - we have a truly obnoxious neighbour who has caused me a lot of tears and stress over the last year. I've got fencing contractors in at the moment putting a solid 6ft fence between us and his mother is over kicking off about the boundary. They are happy to cause damage to my house and property by doing works without letting us know - not so happy now the shoe is on the other foot!

A plus side is that I now have photos of actual damage caused to my house. I knew they must have caught the corner with the digger but I couldn't get access to prove it.

speakout · 13/02/2019 15:44

YashmisCrone

That is an encouraging card- you are nearly there!

Sok1ere It;s so good to see you again- I hope your meeting with friends has eased your anxiety a little.

VioletCharlotte That's fantastic to be reading Tarot at a fair- you have a real gift and insight- I am sure it will be enjoyable.

Elphame Sounds a horrible sitaution with your neighbours- we probably have all had them as some point,
I would be tempted to "help" them find a " better" place to live!

Loyaultemelie · 13/02/2019 17:23

Hello all edging in slowly for a catch up. Speakout sorry to hear about your mother, I'm glad she's now home and doing a bit better.
Queenrollo I hope things are slowly moving in the right direction for your son now?
Yashmis I hope you get your energy up

Our whole house has been wiped out with a bug. Had to go back to hospital yesterday and it's looking like I shouldn't need surgery anyhow.

Elphame · 13/02/2019 17:25

Sadly he's a "farrmer" so no chance of him moving. In fact he's building himself a house right up against us. He's wrecked our ability to sell for the foreseeable future so he's stuck with me as a neighbour too....

He's in for a rather hard time I'm afraid. I've had enough of him pulling the strings of my life.

Sok1ere · 13/02/2019 18:23

@speakout.. I feel a 1000 times better thank you. Good conversation and some bubbles did the trick.

@Elphame Sorry to hear about your predicament Flowers

YashmisCrone · 13/02/2019 18:51

Thank you for the good wishes for an increase in my energy levels- I’ve been working steadily today towards shifting some work that will help, so I’ll get there- considering taking Hills up her offer of sparkly hairspray in the meantime!

speakout thank you, yes that’s what I took from it too- it’s encouraging me to push through some of the work I have on my plate.

Sok1ere really pleased to hear that. Good conversation and bubbles sounds like a fabulous tonic!

Violet that’s exciting news about the booking. Fantastic! I can understand you being nervous but I know it’ll go well- you really are very good- like I said before, the insight you gave me was razor sharp! Smile

Loyaultemelie good news about not needing surgery- sounds like you’ve well and truly got enough to deal with atm- hope everyone’s soon recovered.

Elphame really sorry to hear about the situation with your neighbour, the last kind of energy you need surrounding your home. Although I have to say, I wouldn’t like to be in the farrmer’s shoes from now on.. I think you’d be a force to be reckoned with!

VioletCharlotte · 13/02/2019 21:17

Yashmis and Speakout
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement about my tarot's, it's very exciting

Elphame
Sorry to hear about this situation. I wouldn't like to be in his shoes, I imagine you're a force to be reckoned with when you put your mind to it!

Loyaul
Glad to hear you won't need surgery, but sorry about the bug SadHope you all feel better soon.

Sok1ere
Lovely to have you back. Hope you had a nice lunch with your friends.

Queenrollo
Hope your son is feeling better.

I've been back to the vets with my dog tonight. Unfortunately he's not healing as well as I'd hoped so he's going to have to keep wearing the cone for a while longer 🙁

Mistymount · 13/02/2019 23:02

It has been a relatively quiet week here so far. I feel as though I have been so busy, but I actually have very little to show for it. I’m off into the city after I get around to my morning yoga. I must remember to pick up some modelling clay as I want to make a goddess figure for my altar. I also have a book on sigils to collect from the library and hope to pick up something suitable to wear for the funeral tomorrow Sad

speakout I’m so glad your Mum seems to be okay after her scare. Hope you are well too.

elphame Sorry to hear about the horrid farmer neighbour – am sure you’ll manage him and his behaviours appropriately Wink

violet Well done on the booking! Hope it goes really well for you.

loyaul That's good news about not needing surgery. Hope your recovery goes smoothly.

queenrollo Ooh, I'm going to have to investigate getting an almond tree now. I already have limes, lemons, grapefruit, fig, and olive trees growing in pots along with an ever-expanding range of herbs. We're starting our house build shortly so I'm looking forward to creating a garden from scratch - all plant recommendations are welcome.

Blessings to all.

BartonHollow · 13/02/2019 23:13

Really well done Violet

Do fill us in about how you get on

speakout · 14/02/2019 07:43

Good morning everyone.
I slept like a goddess last night and feel very refreshed. There is the most beautiful pink sunrise outside my bedroom window sillouetted by the woods. I have jumped back into bed with a coffee.
A quietish day here, work is a little calmer , but as paft of my ongoing garage clear out I will be tackling my chest freezer.
I don't krrp on top of my freezers very well.
Always full, bnot a clue what is in them- so I end up buying more food to eat.
It's not iced up, OH defrosted it before christmas, so noy a big job, just jam packed. So I want to go through everything- I am sure we could have a week;s worth of meals in there.
I'll do that before I visit the supermarket.
Then just a day of pottering little jobs, visit the docto
for my mother, post office, working, etc.
Mistymount I love the idea of sculpting a goddess- working with clay is so satisfying isn't it? It feels like a very direct connection somehow and amazing to watch something come alive under our fingertips.

MrFMercury · 14/02/2019 09:13

Morning everyone ☺
We've all had the youngest been wiped out with a nasty virus since the weekend. Seems like there's a lot doing the rounds but I guess it's the time of year for it.
I'm still collecting items I feel drawn too and assembling what feels right as an alter. This weekend I'm taking my older daughter out on an adventure to look for bits and pieces for hers.
It sounds like some of you have had a challenging week too. @elphame I've had very difficult neighbours in the past but not in the scale you seem to be dealing with. I'm sorry, it's a very stressful experience and energy to have to deal with x

queenrollo · 14/02/2019 12:50

I am feeling really let down by someone I thought was a good friend.
At a time when I need them they have become completely self-absorbed. I feel like I have misjudged them, and as a result given too much of myself to the friendship.

It's been a while since this happened. It's come at an emotionally challenging time for me and I am taking it hard.
