betty - I see what you are getting at, don't worry. I suppose for me it all falls into the same category. Some people have "faith" that their experiences have been supernatural - look down this thread for examples.

Sometimes it's not a question of denying that something happened (e.g that someone moved soemthing by power of will) - the dispute can be over the cause.

A medieaval peasant seeing someone thrown back by a huge electrical charge would probably ascribe this to magic or demon work; we know better and can put it down to physics.
