Today, 24 hours and counting, no rows, and the determination to keep it going.
And, a whole month without chocolate, proving to myself that I can muster some self control when I want to.

I am grateful for my dear friend who listened to my troubles and offered support. For my children who I try to keep safe. For my health and my job.

I've woken to brilliant sunshine and piercing blue skies. It's not forecast to last, so I'm being grateful for it whilst it's here. (Symbolic of several things in life, really)

Gosh, dolphins, that must have been amazing.

We went to see Carole King in Hyde Park. She played Tapestry and it was completely awesome. Bonus also Don Henley (the Eagles) as support! Played Desperadoes, Hotel California etc. It was really really good, atmosphere so amazing after the London Brexdepression of the last couple of weeks.

Today I'm grateful for some peace and quiet, things being calm at work, and books.

Edith wow! I love Carole King. I heard about this concert when she first announced she was doing it. It's the first time she's played Tapestry live from start to finish isn't it? Great support too! No wonder you're happy with that, you're very lucky.
