The NHS staff who listened to what I was asking and managed to get the appointment my mother needs sorted. (Knock-on effect is that I'll have less to worry about re DM and my sister won't have the opportunity to criticise my approach to the situation.)

The fabulous conversation I had today with a hairdresser I've not used before. We talked non stop about sprirituality and a higher power. Much better than the usual chit chat.....she's amazing. My hair looks nice too.

Things to be grateful for

Grateful for the extreme good fortune at being born in a country and century and in a family that makes my life and the opportunities open to me so unfairly easier than for almost all people in all other eras and on other continents.

Grateful to live in a democracy, even if I don't agree with the majority decision.

Lovely fresh food....and the means to afford to pay for it.
Eckhart Tolle and his books and youtube videos. I'm a new fan of his, I resonate with a lot of what he says...
