Thought the last thread was getting a bit looooooog so I have tried to summerise all the prayer requests so far and am starting a new thread for us all!! Praise the Lord!!

Hope that I have covered all the requests - and MOST OF ALL let us know if there's any progress / miracles (!!) happening in any of these situations (and don't forget the Christian Praise and Answered Prayer thread too!! )

CaptainDippy - hiya!! am happy to swap some handmade chocky with someone, not eating choc at mo so am happy to jsut be a sender or someone can send me something else i really dont mind.

o yea, thought i'd add that alchol is added to the choc, just incase you have anyone on your list that abstains from alchol :)

Hello - everything here is good but please keep remebering everyone between Townsville and Cairns. Cyclone Larry has caused the most enormous devastation - 95% of Australia's banana industry has been wiped out and huge amount of the sugar cane industry. There are still problems getting personnel on the ground - Innisfail had 30cm of rain in the last 24 hours so the main highway north from here is shut with flooding and landslides. It's a miracle that no one was killed but given it looks like they will be without power, water and sewerage for at least a week there are health risks for at least the young and the old. The army are in and feeding people which is good. Bit of light relief - George Bush has offered his assistance follwing his experience with hurricane Katrina! Thanks for praying.

Pudmog - I am so very sorry that you are experiencing a miscarraige. I am praying for you hard right now. Are you on your own? Is there anyone around who can help you and support you? Please post on here if you need to shout / scream / cry / off-load - I am sure when other people check this thread they will be praying hard for you too. I just do not know what to say except how sorry I am and to assure you that I am thinking of you and praying for you - Please keep posting and let us help you through this as much as we can. xxxx

Good to hear from you Portree - Felt so when you talked about your little one who would be 6 months in the womb now. You have no idea how sorry I am and I know that nothing I can say can make it better, but your little one is in a better place right now and I just pray that God would hold you close to Him. So Glad the nasty horrible virus is leaving you alone right now, long may good health continue in the Portree Houshold - Roll on the summer, it is freeeeeeeeeezing here!!!!

Hello hannahsaunt. Well I am glad that it is over for you and that everything was ok; but I am so at the pictures of devestation I have seen in the news, praying for those affected by the worst of the storm as they rebuild their lives and mourn for those who they have lost. Praying for those affected by the wiping out the banana and sugar cane industries. It is just unbelievable.

All is ticking over in the Dippy Household - Poor little DD2 - Had a call from nursery yesterday as they had noticed "white stuff" all in her mouth so rushed her to the doctors and the poor little mite now has oral thrush!! The doctor said she has probaby got it because she is run down already and is susceptible to pick up anything. Sigh. Please please pray that her ill health would be over soon, I miss my happy, healthy little girl so much.

I feel like a fraud on this thread, when people around me are experiencing hurricanes, miscarriages, illness and chocolate deprivation (that last one is a joke) and all I am experiencing are silly thoughts, but they are very powerful and they drive me to deep dark places so I am sure that your prayers for me, if they can be spared, will help to keep me going.

Yes, Night 2 over and all is well so far. I try so hard to pray for my fellow posters here, each night in bed, and the first thought in my head when I wake up is always "Thank you God for another night over". I wish I could do more.

You do enough DG - Your prayers are hugely appreciated!! You are not a fraud at all - Everyone's prayer requests are important on here, as are everyone's prayers. Your situation and your phobia directly affects you every moment that you are awake so I would say that it is pretty damn important and needs some serious prayer put into it. I am just so glad that people feel they can come on here and ask for prayer about anything (be it hurricanes, miscarraiges, or just a gloopy day) I am so thankful for God for keeping this thread running!!

Hello girls.

Just a quick post to update you all.

Things are not great with DH health wise, however the Army are refusing to acknowledge it any more.

DH is back at work struggling like crazy, coming home in tears because of the pain, and I am dealing with 2 kids under 2 with all the stress!

We are awaiting DH to have a workplace assessment on the 9th May before we know what will happen next, but DH has decided that even if the Army stil lrefuse to acknowedge the problems after that, he is handing in his (12 months) notice.

So by may next year we will be homeless and pennyless..... oh the fun!

Oh JARM - Thank you so much for the update, I have been thinking of you and praying for you often - Your poor DH - going to work in so much pain. Where is the justice, the army is so cruel!!? And poor you - looking after Jess and Becky is enough stress for one person to take without all of this (15 months age gap sympathy here!! ) All I can say is that I continue to pray for you and hope that God will make some sense of this situation soon - I really hope that this assesment on May 9th will sort something out for you all. still no change here.getting bit down now.dh had to go to sort out job seekers allownce etc today.ganglian on wrist really hurting.dd had to go doctors re loads of nosebleeds has now got to go to hospital for blood test and to see ent people.ds teething,had last lot of immunisations yesterday,moke at 540am and has hardly slept since.really need God to show himself

Sorry to post and run.........friend's dd has taken a nosedive this morning. She is really sick and desperately needs our prayers

I'd like a prayer for some friends of mine this evening please, if that is not too cheeky? I feel my prayers alone are a bit inadequate...

1. my mums friend is in ITU with a perforated bowel this evening
2. my best friend is going through a very low patch and I want her to know that I will do ANYTHING to help her
3. A MN friend who is suffering because her DH is working away this week

In the NASWM house DS2 is doing very well. Children's Hospital were v pleased with his hand yesterday. Another appt tomoorrow with different consultant at local hospital re other medical probs. DS1 has cough. And I'm not sleeping properly. Have drunk half bottle of wine this eve in attempt to help me sleep...

Here's hoping for good news on 9th May, but to be honest, I AM BRICKING IT!

How on earth do I cope with a 5 months old and a 20 month old with no home no money etc..... its a really scary place im in right now.

I hope your DH got JSA sorted out mrsgee - I am sorry that it has had to come to that, but hopefully the money that you get from the claim will at least get you through in the meantime. I am really praying that something comes up for him soon. I am praying for the ganglian on your wrist too - is any being done medically about it?? Praying for miracle healing - or at least a bit of relief from the bother of it!! Keep us updated baout your DD with her horrid nosebleeds too - Let us know what the blood results say - I really hope they can get to the bottom of it for you and stop the poor mite having them, must be quite scary!! Praying that your DS settles soon with the teething and the reaction to the imms - Sounds like you have an awful lot on your plate at the moment and I just pray that God would give you a real peace in the middle of all this stuff that is going on - Cling to Him as your rock and salvation - Trust that He will get you through - and keep posting!! Hi NASWM - Sooooo glad that DS' hand is doing so well, really hope that the appt at the hospital about the other problems goes really well - Sounds like he is a fighter - pray that hand continues to heal well and that he'll be back to normal soon!! Praying that DS1's cough goes away soon, there's loads of it about at the moment - I've got a nasty cough myself, yuk yuk yuk!! How is your mum's friend doing with the perforated bowel in ITU???? I really pray that she will pull thourgh - Please save her Lord. Praying for your BF, that you will direct the right care and attention her way and that you would just have the right words to say to get her through this difficult patch, may God be so close to her at this time - and to your MN friend who is struggling while her DH is away (is it DG???). All continues much the same in the Dippy Household - DD2 slept forever yesterday an seems a bit better for it - Thrush looking better already (thank you for prayers and thank you Lord!!) Still snotty and moany, but "getting there"!! Got another letter about a job I had applied for this morning - didn't even get an interview again - Poo!! Only one more job to hear back about now, really hope I at least get an interview - Please pray the right job would comes along soon, starting to feel a bit down about it and beginning to feel like there's something wrong with me - I can't even get a poxy p/t job - That sort of thing. Bleurgh!! Holding fast to God's promises and to His plan for my life, but finding it hard to grip on, iykwim!!?

well dh is starting to get quite a few interviews which is great.so just got to wait and see.both dc fast asleep and in bed.i have chocolate in front of me
God is giving me peace and i feel relatively calm about everything.i guess there are people out there with alot more going on and alot harder.

Hello - I feel bizarrely nervous joining in this thread but I would like to ask for your prayers if I may

My dh has in the last week told me that he doesnt love me anymore and that in order to be happy he needs to leave me and our two kids. There is a thread with all my witterings in Relationships - My dh is trying to decide

When we met he was a Minister of Religion at bible college. We were convinced at the time that God wanted us to be together. In fact we got together because God told me to marry him (prior to that point I wasnt even conscious of fancying him) Since then for various reasons things have not gone well.

I think this is because we have fallen away from God and put our trust in worldly things instead.
Anyway I have decided that I must recommit to God and put my trust in Him.

Dh is refusing to consider this idea because he says he no longer believes in a loving God - because he thinks God has caused all of his sufferings - whereas I would say our sufferings are caused by our lack of faith. I hope that makes sense.

I have been trying to follow Matthew 5 v 16 "let your light shine before others in order that they might see your good deeds and praise your father in heaven"

I hope that makes sense. I would really value your prayers as without God my future is fairly desperate now. Thankyou - I will try to summon my currently weak faith to pray for you.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to say a huge thank you to anyone who prayed for me this week. I feel so humble and appreciative and I hope that my return prayers for you have been fruitful too. Dh is now safely back within the bosom of his family, and, having travelled through the night and crossed several time zones, is a grumpy old S O D this morning, but hey, we can't have everything!

All the children are well, although I missed posting yesterday as ds2 woke up saying he felt sick (my worst nightmare) and stayed off school, only for me to realise gradually as the day went on that it was all a put on and his real problems lay in the disruptive behaviour of other children in his class which upsets him very much. This is not the first sickie he has pulled to avoid the unpleasantness of school, so if anyone has a space in their prayer list, a plea for ds2 to find happiness and friendhip at school would be lovely.
