It probably won't change but it would be good if Steve Wright gets to hear some opinions on how the public feel about this man's techniques and theories. I emailed him from the contacts page and told him what an 'anti CM' feel there is among professional trainers, behaviourists and academics. Come on all you professionals and dog lovers out there...

Thanks for the book recommendation, Bella. I'll get that one, then. I've got a large collection of dog books that I have gathered and read over the years, but I'm finding that they are not specialised enough and I'm wasting shedloads of time tracking down specific terms. Take your point about forums, that's why I haven't bothered with any of the ones I come across. Just thought you might know of some more specialised ones (where the trainers hang out!). I work from German into English.
