You can spay/neuter from 4 months. My two boys were done at just over 4 months but had to go to a different vet as mine said from from 6 months

LadyDeadpool · 17/09/2017 19:49

Going to the reduced costs vet after deliberately getting your cat pregnant? You're just the picture of a responsible owner. I don't even have words for what I think of you.
You may have cost your "beloved" cat her life, at the very least you're costing a charity funds that are better used on sensible pet owners.

To be seen by the RSPCA you need to be getting a benefit such as esa, income support, disability benefits, seeing as you work 2 jobs I take it you're not getting these benefits so they won't see you, you'll have to pay full price at a normal vets.

cafeaulaitpourvous · 17/09/2017 20:31

You've cocked up OP

NorthernLurker · 17/09/2017 20:34

Your poor cat OP! You absolutely don't sound like a fit cat owner to me. You've endangered your cat's health, you have to keep them as house cats because of the environment you live in, you've allowed two non-neutered cats to be around each other which will actually have been stressful for both, you can't really afford the vet care they may need and you have a totally misplaced view of your cat's needs, talking about her needing to have just one litter.

SteampunkPrincess · 17/09/2017 20:35

our cats (boys) didnt leave the house until they were chipped and snipped

there is NO excuse to let a cat get knocked up

Elledouble · 17/09/2017 21:23

You say you want her to be a mom... how many of the kittens are you keeping?

thewideeyedpea · 17/09/2017 21:26

Yes, I've seen a bit of sunlight.... Whilst I've been working an 8 hour day at an animal welfare charity. Fuck me....Its people like you who keep me in a job. And in case you actually give a shit, we are full of not only adult cats but also kittens. Lots of them. And plenty more waiting to come in. Please go to your local rescue centre and bloody well educate yourself.

CoteDAzur · 17/09/2017 22:00

"I didn't ask for any one of you to judge me because I'm asking if my cat is pregnant"

How the fuck are we supposed to know if your cat is pregnant? Confused

CoteDAzur · 17/09/2017 22:01

"Your cat your rulz hun"

Toddlerteaplease · 17/09/2017 22:20

My cat is well trained and looked after , she gives me kisses daily which most of you wouldn't understand unless you have a bond with your cat ..

Yes. I have this bond with my cats. It took 18 months to recover from their shit first five years, being used and badly treated as breeding queens. I dread to think how many litters they had. You are completely irresponsible. And stop whinging because people don't agree with you.

Vinorosso74 · 17/09/2017 22:25

OP, as lots of others have said you are highly irresponsible for letting your cat get pregnant when there are so many cats and kittens without homes. You can't put human emotions on a cat; a cat doesn't choose to be a mum like humans can.

TheHungryDonkey · 17/09/2017 23:14

Is this a satire post or real? It's like irresponsible pet ownership bingo.

Niclou98 · 17/09/2017 23:22

Your cats are well looked after? You post pictures online instead of taking a cat you think is pg to the vets.
Vets. ASAP. Hopefully they can do a spay even if she's in early pg.
Cats don't yearn to be mothers. They don't understand pg and birth. It's just pain. It can end very badly. Very irresponsible to keep two unneutered cats together. Especially if you're struggling to pay bills already. Get them done.

NorthernLurker · 17/09/2017 23:34

Ha! You wish op!

LadyDeadpool · 17/09/2017 23:35

pmsl at end of post. Seriously love you can't wish away the fact that all of mumsnet now knows you are devoid of brains and are happy to remind you of it.

DavetheCat2001 · 17/09/2017 23:35

Fucking hell, what a depressing thread..

RosemaryHoight · 17/09/2017 23:58

Wow. You should not be breeding animals. I wish there was a license for it, or even to acquire an animal. They deserve so much better than this.
