You don't get to order other people to stop posting.

I'm also really glad that MNHQ have refused to delete the thread at your request.

You evidently don't have the first idea about responsible pet ownership.

Wolfiefan · 18/09/2017 07:32

Nope. Very far from perfect. But when making decisions for my pets I base them on what is best for the animal.
Having a litter isn't what is best for your cats. Keeping unneutered cats shut together in a house isn't best for them.

Limer · 18/09/2017 07:37

Would you all rather me have her kittens aborted ?

Yes. She is a cat, not a person. She doesn't "want to be a mother". Take her to the vet today. And take the male cat there tomorrow.

missmouse101 · 18/09/2017 09:31

Niclou, it feels uncomfortable to read, but people are right. She is highly likely to be pregnant in answer to your question. I am a qualified veterinary nurse and we work so, so hard to educate people NOT to irresponsibly breed. There are many, many cats and kittens desperate for homes in rescues across the country. Many of these will have very little chance of a decent future because in the UK, supply exceeds demand. You don't need to breed her, you don't need to let her have a litter because it is what YOU want. Please, please get both your cats neutered. It is part of responsible pet ownership. Your cats will be healthier and safer for it. You can do it.

Thank you , probably the most reasonable comment iv had , I'm not the sort of person to listen to people that give me abuse and are really rude , your comment was helpful and both of my cats will be sorted asap. 👏🏻

Course they will 🤥

ILoveDolly · 18/09/2017 13:16

And I actually have had three rescue kittens, plus I do think most fancy breeders with expensive kittens are contributing to the problem. I like my high horse, I will stay on it.

lollipop7 · 18/09/2017 13:24

You shouldn't need a stranger to write something reasonable in order to be a responsible pet owner.

You sat back and let this happen; they are animals and instinct tells them to sleep, hunt and breed basically.

If your cat isn't heavily pregnant I would have her spayed and the foetuses removed at the same time. It's the kindest thing to do for her.

GET TO BE A MOTHER ATLEAST ONCE!?

But then you are getting rid of them?

The cat knows no difference if she has been a mother or not. Do you realise she will mourn for her babies when you take them away? That will hurt her a hell of a lot more, than letting her be a mother...

Your family and friends that are willing to have the kittens could of had the poor cats that are already in care , already in a cage because of owners that dont get their cats done! Makes me mad

'End of Post'

is that like 'discuss'?

Irresponsible pet owners make me SO angry

GoldenGumballs · 09/10/2017 15:50

Niclou I too am a VN and agree with missmouse. Ignore the emotional outbursts but please listen to sense and get the male neutered asap. The girl will most def be pregnant and will need extra care/food/ space away from the male. Get some veterinary advice, don't be surprised if the animal charities won't fund treatment or Caesarian if needed. Have some money put aside for any eventuality and don't treat it casually. Breeding is a serious thing and can go heartbreakingly wrong.

JessicaEccles · 11/10/2017 13:49

An un neutered male in a top floor flat? bet the smell is lovely.
