Don’t just ask the government what a woman is.
Ask them to actually make it clear that the obvious answer - “ An adult human female” cannot possibly mean
someone like the man you see in the picture below.
Ask them to do this by updating the Equality Act to make clear the characteristic sex is bioligical not “Sex as modified by a Gender Recognition Certificate, or gender as presented by Gender Reassignment on almost any basis. (Neither a GRC or GR requires surgery, and most transgender men do not undergo it.)
It is the Equality Act which allows exceptional discrimination to protect women and girls in certain settings, but many organisations do not enact this right under the Act because it can be in conflict with the anti- discrimination rights of another kind of “woman”.

Ignore the Government response so far on the site. It never addressed the question raised. So every new signature means the chance to ask again: “What is, and what is not really a woman?
