BoF you have my sympathies. It is only recently that we have been able to eat out with DS.

but talking of DS, he's 10 tomorrow. I cannot beleive how fast the past decade has gone. It seems only moments ago and yet so much has happened.

I also turn 29 and 12 months tomorrow. I am less happy about that.

I am watching the bake off too Lizzy. I never thought of dipping the scones in the egg wash - a lot quicker than using a pastry brush. I always put a demerara sugar topping on mine >

You have never made scones Lizzy . You definitely need to - it would be sacrilege to put the homemade jam on anything else.

DS wanted to go to pizza hut for his birthday so we will be doing that. not exactly a night at the ritz but still.

It was DD's birthday on saturday so we are taking them to Legoland at the weekend too.
I've never been before so any hints and tips gratefully recieved.

My birthdya will be mostly ignored as usual. this year i wont actually mind so much

My Mum has been diagnosed with a condition where you get blood clots that can cause strokes.... not sure about all the detail. She is going on warfrin (?), she said 'maybe your Dad will let me go to the hairdressers to have a proper haircut' (the whole things had a high chance of hairloss apparently).
I don't want my Mum to be ill.. she has been through too much. Grandad had it and died from a stroke, although he made it to 92 , just doesn't seem fair to her..
I am sorry but my Dad's a fucking jerk.

Absolutely no lyrics but can be edited down to the time limit. Not sure. something that will make the examiners pass me

Been in Uni all day today and then collected children from school, walked into the village, got them all an ice cream(it's been boiling here today) and resisted having one myself. Then walked through the cow field, up by the cricket field and back home. Just in time for dinner, bath and bed. Phew what a day.

Things have looked up somewhat as I'm no longer miserable. But I did have a puke in the bath half an hour ago (not been feeling well) and then Dd2 woke up screaming with a Humungous Poo to deal with.
