Sunny here but I will be stuck in the hairdressers from 10.30 for bloody ever today - having my roots and colour done. By do the roots need it - the grey is really really coming through . Need to get DH and DS2 to the train station beforehand too.

DIB - Vinny and myself are stopping in a different hotel. I had some points that I could use so it seemed a bit silly to pay for a hotel when I essentially could have a double/twin room for free.

DD(7) is far more capable then DS, although I think a lot of it is also convenient, lazyness rather than actually not being able.

I am up pottering. I love this time of day in the house. It is bright and fresh, slightly autumnal but promising start.

Friends party today is a joing 90th (40th & 50th). They are having a race day (dvd one) this afternoon and then party this evening. Apparently we have to dress up in racing attire so reckon they will be getting married. Would be v exciting if they do

Still not sure on the meet, i think i will have to wait until nearer the time.

Trills what about woodgreen. always good for a sulk around. you can borrow the animals for an hour and then walk away without responsibility. ds loves it.

What, just pop over the the animal shelter to stroke the animals then leave them? Are you allowed to do that? And if you are allowed doesn't it make you sad to have to leave them there?

DS is what, 5? So only 9 months gestation + 5 yrs training before they can make a coffee... is it worth it?
