Have just watched last weeks X-Factor - mad as ever!

DH & DS2 going to Wembley tomorrow to watch the rugby and I am playing at taxi driver to take them to the station and some ungodly hour tomorrow morning. I am then at the hairdressers at 10.30am. Think DS1 and I just might go out for our tea - which will cost about a 6th of what it is costing the lads to go to London > and then we have to go pick them up at the station tomorrow night.

Bastard fucking B&Bers not turned up, booked a family room for 3 nights from tonight, I emailed a confirmation, didn't take a deposity as they ha stayed before, no sign of them, DH phoned mobile, siad our farm name and phone went dead. they are not coming are they. hey have been phoning weekly to make sure the booking is confirmed.

Fanny why are people like this? It is just downright rude.

Franny how bloody rude and inconsiderate of them. I would send them an invoice for the bill anyway, and explain that because it is the bank holiday you have turned other people away so you do require them to honour their booking.

PMSL Jaq, thank you, we live and learn constantly, they said they had stayed beofre so gave them a ecent price an no deposit so my fault, have been working on getting DH moe work tonight and there is another library job I am interested in if I can work it out, it could be simply me writing it down wrong and they will turn up tomorrow.

But why put the phone down though Fanny, if it is just a case of you getting the wrong night? I think you have got the right night and they are bloody well embarrassed - and so they should be too.

Trills, we were disappointed not to find it on our way back . Had to buy a bottle of Bombay instead - a litre bottle was only about 19 euros though.

Did you know that you can slice up lemons and limes and pop them in the freezer in a bag - they are then ready for your drinks. I usually open freeze first so that they don't stick together in the bag.

Thing is though Trills, once you try the posh stuff it is then difficult to go back to the cheaper gin.
