Well somebody must be getting their Itti's as they have positive feedback on ebay already, I have started selling off my smalls & mediums now, so there's no turning back! May have to get the Coolababies out to tide me over Or crack this potty training lark (still very hit n miss, mostly miss )

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 04/12/2009 14:01

I actually prefer the coolababys etc to ittis [runs and hides] I absolutly hated the snap in ittis, thought it was so fiddly with all the bits that would never stay in place when dealing with a wriggly baby - I actually prefered prefolds to them! I do like my itti AIOs although I only have one in each size, which I got before the snap in ones preloved. BUT I find they are not absorbant enough and you can't boost them, other than the snap in booster which is already on there. At least with a pocket nappy you can add/change the absorbany.

POcket wise we use coolababys and yoyoos mainly but also have a BG, LS, UD etc. I have more coolababys than I wanted because I had a bit of an accident with a box of stock so just HAD to keep them

Yippee! I just sold all 14 of my medium Itti's.Do hope tomorrow is ebay Itti day! I have back up prepared.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 04/12/2009 21:15

4: Yes, I've seen those too and thought they were fab! I found them here, this seller sells them singly: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220508123844 I wonder if the biggest size would fit Abigail (4yo)? We had some footless tights/leggings that we bought at the fantastic Yorkshire Trading Company when we were on holiday in Ykshire a couple of years ago and they were lovely - nice for under skirts when Abigail wanted something on her legs but wanted bare feet! But the cute patterns of the ones on ebay are lovely - I'm sure if I had a baby girl I'd have bought some already!

mumface · 04/12/2009 21:29

They're gorgeous it says they are unisex, I would put the non pink ones on a baby boy.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 04/12/2009 21:53

yes, me too - but guess for the winter I was thinking I'd want thicker trousers for Clement. Or maybe it's just that I have mountains of boy clothes and really don't need anyomre! LOL Mind you, Abigail has a stuffed wardrobe too - so I really don't need to do any clothes shopping for any of them - until Abigail or Benjamin have a major growth spurt! Cause Clement has plenty of Benjamin's outgrown clothes to grow into!

mumface · 04/12/2009 22:14

Got black/ grey stripy pair with panda bum - too cute to resist!

mumface · 04/12/2009 22:17

I hardly have any clothes for Connor, he has 3 sleepsuits and 2 soft tops and trousers from next and a snowsuit and cardigan and that's it. I buy more nappies than clothes!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 04/12/2009 22:41

I do like the look of those leggins, but TBH the only trousers I ever buy are longies! And next on my list of "wants" are fleece longies.

Speaking of longies - I have 10 pairs of longies and a wool wrap, all lanolising together . I usually only do a couple at a time but I had so many hanging around waiting to be lanolised and I just wanted them all done! I washed them indervidually first and then shoved them all in the bin we use for recycling (which is washed first and then put in a bag, so its not a grubby bin! Although I did wash it just incase!) and lanolising them in there. I added loads of lanolin so hopefully its enough. They were all not too bad anyway. Still have some more longies to use in the meantime as I know they always take days to dry, which does my head in! ALTHOUGH last time I put them on a gentle spin cycle in the washing machine and they were fine, but not too sure I want to risk it with 10 pairs! It did make a HUGE differnce to drying time though and I know a few people on CNT do it.
What do you all think?

4 I am just sending you a message on FB about wipes and xbox.

mumface · 04/12/2009 22:50

I don't have any longies at all yet so looking forward to Disana ones coming, I only have 1 pair of shorties which I use on Connor and they go past his knees. Fleece soaker tends to leak on him now but they are a bit small in the rise, need some larges. I reckon a gentle spin would be ok. But not sure I'd dare with 10 pairs.

treedelivery · 04/12/2009 22:57

Evening folks.

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 04/12/2009 23:04

mumface - I get most of the girls clothes from freecycle . They are usually in pretty good condition and I can then put them back on freecycle when I am done. We get loads from there - some have even had tags on .

kmummy · 04/12/2009 23:06

Jenny, i just washed two pairs of longies for the first time ever yesterday in the washing machine Set it to handwash and a 400 spin - there dry today after all day and night in the airing cupboard, im impressed although did not breath as i took them out of the washing machine hehe!!!

I love the look of those leggings, have two custom longies being made as we speak though, have a look, I LOVE IT!!!

Hello Tree

On a bad note, have brang down and a very hot and crying baby

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 04/12/2009 23:09

I used to machine wash my woolies kmummy, until I shrunk my disana shorties . That was on a wool cycle! Have had loads that have gone through fine though.

I had 2 very unhappy babies tonight, I had to babysit 7-10 for a family round the corner and left with both of the girls screaming with DH. Trouble is, if one goes down fine, so does the other, but one cries and so does the other! So it's all or nothing!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 04/12/2009 23:47

By the way, remember to do a review on CNT during December to enter the competition. The winner gets 3 YoYoo pockets sent straight from me! AND I have donated 3 prizes in the CNT 2009 awards so there is 4 ways to win a prize from nappyweb!

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 05/12/2009 09:28
