I must be easily pleased then my moomoo is my favourite one, but I was told when I ordered from Twinkle that it's greyish, so it wasn't surprisng.
My mum has asked for a cake slice for Christmas, just got a stainless steel new one on Amazon for 1p! Will obviously get her something else aswell now!
Still no e-mail or Itti's
Am now seeking mint to complete rainbow in AIO's. I see Greenbaby have them in now but they are £14 each.

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 03/12/2009 20:34

Well I haven't had a chance to list my preloved nappies yet, and won't at all today as I have loads of things to do. Would love the money and space! Although I had a full wash of ones with stains that I have been trying to get out today and given them a tumble to soften them up a bit! I think I am going to put them all on the preloved page of my site, which although it works out more expensive, it is so much easier to keep track of it all. When doing loads on forums etc I get all in a muddle as to who has got what, who has paid, what is still avaliable etc . Its my fault as i always have far too much to list in one go! Lol

HI all.

I am beyond tired so just poppin gin to express at moo-moo greyness! Itti normally hit it right ont he mark too, so who would have thought it. Never seen a grey cow.....

Although wouldn't say no to a moomoo all the same Just because, you know, it's important to try all things before deciciding on the best.

You must all feedback on dring times for Itti aio. I am obsessed.

treedelivery · 03/12/2009 21:27

OOOO had bedbug night last night. Totally absorbed everything she threw at it, although on the downside she did have nappy burn this am. Now that might be because she has had constipation, so will try again as soon as washed and dried. Taking a nappy bin to nannas tomorrow. Still no washing machine. Not good!

I think I am a bit spoilt with the microfleece with wool, that feels nearly dry in the morning. Although with the fleece, the wool is really challenges, and can feel a bit sweaty damp and sure stinks! With the BedBug, the wool was totally dry and less stinky - so perhaps less challenged. The nappy held the wee. They do seem very very absorbant!
Am out of practice with this type of nappy, so will use bigger fleece liners next time to give her a good dry layer.

That [previous post] is not how to spell drying is it?

treedelivery · 03/12/2009 21:49

As an add on to that - dd gets nappy burn when constipated. No one can explain this too me but the consultant said it was very common.....?????

challenges challenged. I am zonked aren't I?

Can't wait to get bedbug, TB wraps and Itti's washed and dried. Soooooo frustrating not having a machine. I could have them washed and dried for tomorrow night at home!
Will bedbug require a tumble dry fluff up Rachel? Or do you prefer your nappies not to be tumbled? Oh and what about washing it? You use totally natural cleaning agent - would you rather it avoided commercial cleaners? I have ingredients for a potion if so

Aren't I blathering on tonight?

Babybots · 03/12/2009 21:58

Hmm still in two minds about the Moo Moo!

Mumface - If you wait a bit many other nappy sellers will have them at a fraction of the cost

Also wanted to ask did anyones itti orders on ebay show as unclaimed for a while? Just done another one and its doing it again!

God Tree you sound as tired as i feel! Im hitting the sack very shortly!

treedelivery · 03/12/2009 22:00
thebluefoxategreensocks · 03/12/2009 22:03

tree: One thing you will find with Bedbugs is, they do take a long time to dry! That's the main downside - sorry! I just do whatever is convenient/required with regard to drying - so feel free to line or tumble dry it - I do both, so neither is a problem. Usually I found that even if I line dried them, the core was still damp and required electric heat to get it dry - at least without having to wait days for it to be totally dry! And not to worry what you wash it in - I'm always buying preloved nappies, which get washed in all sorts of bio detergents! So feel free to use whatever you normally do, I don't mind.

But sorry about the nappy burn - I hope it gets better! I guess if you're used to fleece lined nappies, then it's possible her skin might not like the velour which feels damp.

treedelivery · 03/12/2009 22:08

What - so it wont have dried for tomorrow???

So this is why you all have 10 a few!

I'll wash with usual nappy load but strip it for return, so it's ready to rock and roll on your bubbas. I love the coloured poppers. Am a sap. T'is true.

kmummy · 03/12/2009 22:23

I used to put mine in the airing cupboard before i went to bed and theyd be dry in 24hrs if you can wait that long

BB, now im going to be stalking your site to see how much of a fraction Go for the moomoo though, your itti stash wont be right without it!

kmummy · 03/12/2009 22:24

Oops and yes mine was unclaimed for 24hrs

thebluefoxategreensocks · 03/12/2009 22:27

LOL - Yes, I have 7 of them to cope with drying time, but we did survive quite happily with that amount and 2 boys in nappies - though I always did daily nappy wash.

Hopefully I'll try Clement in them again at night soon, but at the moment his bottom seems to like a break from cloth at night, but he does survive in pocket nappies all day with no problem, which is fab! So it's just sposies at night for both boys, and pockets all day, so that's a lot of progress, imho!

I have been known to tumble dry my Bedbugs for the entire drying time (when I had fewer and was desperate!)...which was about 140+ minutes! I hate to think how much that cost!

treedelivery · 03/12/2009 22:35

Ooohhhh they must have been fluffylicious though! Great news about the pockets.

Big poo's this evening, nappy rash almost gone. It's totally bonkers.

mumface · 03/12/2009 22:42

If it helps you decide Babybots/anyone contemplating moomoo, the white bit is pure white, the black bit is black on top of the pile, but white underneath so it appears dark grey, but I think it is very cute.
My multipack was unclaimed til next day aswell.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 03/12/2009 23:10

tree: maybe the funny rashes Clement has had lately have been connected with constipation! He's been going tooooo many days without doing any poos, yet stuffing his face with big people food! Even had to get laxitive & stool softners from GP the other week, cause he was crying & bleeding! Wouldn't have thought it was that bad, as not actually hard, but he seemed scared to do a poo!

treedelivery · 03/12/2009 23:16

Oh bless him. Have got the tshirt [and upgraded to the hoody] on the constipation thing. With both my dd's it was the size that mattered. The width. YOu can imagine Not nice.

I've found the rash tends to originate from the anus, and if I seperate dd2's cheeks, suns in a line up her botty crack [bless her little botty crack - awww]. Have also found creams make little odds. Very odd.

DD1 has been scared to poo since about 1 to 1.5. Led to years of withholding and really awful problems. So yes, get on top of it in the early days. DD1's consultant said as we only really started to deal with it at 4, we could look to 4 years to reverse it, plus some. So most of childhood spent managing constipation then . No need to tell you all about the guit I feel for that!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 03/12/2009 23:27

awwww poor you tree - it's not easy! All my children have seemed to like quiet corners away from everyone to do their business, and sometimes an interruption or being out all day really messed up their routine! I've almost thought at times that just to keep them regular & happy I needed to never leave the house and have a very orderly & quiet life! LOL thankfully they get themselves sorted sooner or later without major problems, but just not emptying their bowels when they need to does make them grumpy and their behaviour is really out the window! And you can't really go around all the time making excuses for naughty children and say "they just need to do a poo!" LOL

Clement's rashes have all been above his front bits, so not in the same place as your little one's rash, but I have felt that it was more angry when he was constipated! strange!

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 04/12/2009 09:06

Morning all, i have dd1 and dd2 at home from school today, high temperatures, belly aches etc etc.
Just waiting for dd1 to wake up before running a bath for dd's 1-3 as i want her to rest as much as possible
I wondered why my nappy stash looked tiny and realised later that half of them were still in the suitcase from the weekend when i totally over estimated how many nappies i needed I might try and do a complete itti stash piccy later to cheer myself up

Babybots · 04/12/2009 10:52
