Hello! DD had her first day today. Skipped in without even giving me a kiss. Suppose I should be pleased she was so happy. She looked so grown up. You blink, and suddenly it's their first day at school!

FrazzleRock · 09/09/2010 21:09

Hello! Just saw this on active convos!

So much has happened lately I wouldn't even know where to begin, finally split for H and had five delicious weeks with the man of my dreams but he turned out to be a bit of a twunt Sad - don't they all! He was absolutely bloody gorgeous though with the perfect life boo hoo Sad

Off to Ibiza tomorrow with the girls for my friend's 40th, back Monday, nop doubt feeling rather fragile....

Hope you're all well xx

PickledMoomin · 09/09/2010 21:25

PickledMoomin & Panda I can't believe your girls are at "big" school already!!! I have to say Moomin that L looked very scrummy in her picture and so grown up!
Frazzle Sorry to hear the man of your dreams didn't work out, but you know that means you can have fun now finding mr right! Grin Ibiza {envy} Enjoy!

I hope the rest of the zoo are well and happy Smile

ZombiePandaEatsEis · 13/10/2010 22:08

Wowee weve been mighty quiet!! Hope everyone is doing well Smile

What do you think of my halloween name?? > does it suit me??Grin

BuddhaBelly · 17/10/2010 18:58

ZombiePandaEatsEI Love the name! Grin Lovely to see you in here, I've come to the conclusion that everyone else is just too busy for our little thread anymore and it's come to a natural end which is very Sad
It would be lovely if I'm wrong! Smile
How are things with you?

PickledMoomin · 18/10/2010 10:03

I'm still lurking - but not as often as I'd like.

These cold, dark mornings and just yukky. Really not enjoying the school run ... at least we're always on-time with our 5am riser. Grin

L will be 5 next week. We're off to Disneyland, but only if we can fly with the strikes going on. Don't fancy being delayed for hours and hour and hours.

ZombiePandaEatsEis · 19/10/2010 00:21

Hi ladiesSmile

Things have been ok hereGrin
im getting yet more tests done as the new (wonderful) GP thinks all of my auto immune problems are inter related and i may have coeliac disease!! I would have to stop eating all food containing gluten and wheat and stick to it for life!! I googled it and guess what??!! The disease if left untreated causes infertility and early miscarriages!! So aswell as everything else... Good thing is that within a week of the diet change the problem is magically fixed and i may be able to lose some weight!! Amazing!! I have the start of the tests on wed!!

Hope everyone is ok xx

BuddhaBelly · 19/10/2010 15:17

EI That is fantastic news Grin I don't think I've ever wished someone to have a disease before!! Shock but if it means you feel better, lose weight and most importantly get pregnant then I bloody well hope you have got it!!!! Grin
Good luck for the tests and keep us updated Smile
Moomin How is J's sleeping? Still hit and miss? Ewan slept through last night the 5th time in nearly 11 months!! Smile

PickledMoomin · 19/10/2010 21:20

Ei Fantastic that they're doing some further testing. Let me know how you get on.
Bhudda He woke five times last night but didn't get up till 5.20 - what a lie in!! Good boy, Euan.

BuddhaBelly · 20/10/2010 11:20

And again last night (woke once at 11.30 pm then all the way through to 6.00 m) Grin Grin grin]

ZombiePandaEatsEis · 20/10/2010 12:07

aww sounds like the boys are growing up fast buddha and moomin Smile

i had my blood tests today and they took about 7 things of blood from me and my arm is sore and bruised now! all for a good cause thoughSmile

i tried the past few days to eat a low gluten diet and it wasnt too bad TBH mainly avoiding pasta, pastries, crisps etc the only thing i think i will miss is chocolateSad i can still have the very good quality kind as they dont bulk it out but cheaper ones like cadburys etc has gluten in so it would be out for me! massive BOOOOO as i am a chocoholic but it should help to shift weight off me if i have to give it up for a proper health reason!!Smile

hope everyone else is okSmile

teeheelaydee · 22/11/2010 14:08

Hello ladies, remember me. How awful have I been. I just don't know where the time goes.

Ei Sounds like mixed news from you. So sad that you had another m/c but it sounds as if at last you have a way forward. Any news on that yet?

I still enjoy all your updates on FB and can't believe how big all our little ones are getting. 1st birthdays and some of them at school. It is scary.

N is now 19mo and keeping me on my toes. He is a bag of energy. He is finally sleeping at night though and in his cot too which is a relief as we have no2 on the way!!

Yes, that's right. I am now 13+3 and have had 2 scans. Everything going well so far, except for the awful sickness but as we all know thats a comfort really.

I'm not sure how I'll manage with double the amount of child than I have now.

Won't leave things so long next time xxx

PickledMoomin · 22/11/2010 19:30

Lovely to see you here teehee. Am hoping the others are still lurking. I've been dying for you to come out of hiding. Shouldn't be too long before the sickness goes away. xxx

PandaEis · 23/11/2010 01:39

mamafox · 30/03/2011 12:36

Remember me? Blush Very long between messages Blush Between work, study, email, FB, 3 children, I have been neglecting Mumsnet. dd1 is 9 in April, dd2 turned 5 in Dec and ds is 20mths and full of nonsense :) Very much a mummy's boy and would be happy if I carried him around the whole day, rather than cook, clean, help dd1 with homework etc etc Hmm
How is everyone else? Must say I still have trouble working out who everyone is with these different names, apart from EI of course :) Struggled with that since we changed - what did we used to be called?

PickledMoomin · 14/04/2011 12:21

Hey Mama,
How are you? Sparkly here. Life keeps you busy, aye? I love looking at your updates. Your little ones are looking as lovely as ever.

How is everyone else? And what has happened to the most popular thread on MN that used to be filled within a few days? I miss you all.

Everything fine here. I'm back at work but on a supply contract with the same school. It's going well - pays well and I can pick and choose my days to fit in with childcare. J is 17 months old, very chatty, bad tempered and into everything. He's such a character and still needs very little sleep. L has settled in well at school. She's a madam but very good fun.

Teehee's going to be having her baby soon. I had a text to say she's now 33 weeks. How time flies.

Keep in touch ladies xxxxx

Oh yes - I keep forgetting but I'm soon to be wed. 6 weeks to go. How scary.

PickledMoomin · 19/06/2011 16:43

(Shouts) "Wake up Zoo animals, there's a new cub in the world!"

BuddhaBelly · 20/06/2011 20:52

Moomin I take it you mean TeeHee's and you're not telling us you've got a honeymoon present Wink Wink
Come on then give us all the wedding details!! Smile I hope everyone has seen your beautiful photo's on FB Smile
I wonder if anyone else looks on here at all???

Helloooooo Hellooooooo

SeldomSeenCake · 24/06/2011 11:19

Weellll hellloooo!!

Mrs moomin and bhudda Smile

I saw the beautiful wedding pics and teehees baby ones! Such lovely news!!

Nothing new here (not unusual) its coming up to a year since my last MC and im sort of not TTC anymore... Im alot happier and less bitter about it all since i came to the decision to stop obsessing Smile
Its nice to hear from everyone! Any news from anyone else?

SeldomSeenCake · 24/06/2011 11:20

Oh its PandaEis btw lol

BuddhaBelly · 27/06/2011 10:44

SeldomSeenCake Lovely to "see" you again, Sad that you have stopped ttc but Smile that you have moved forward and kind of come to terms with it that can only be a positive thing Smile How's the cake business coming along? Are you hoping to do it as a career eventually? How is dd?

Thank goodness for FB as I see most of my updates on you lovely ladies on there.
All good here although E has been back and forward to consultant as he's got glue ear, we've had 9 ear infections in as many months Sad still not sleeping through which I think is down to the same thing. We have now been referred for an operation but as the childrens hospital isn't local we've got to attend clinic in Birmingham before they will put him on their list for grommets Shock such a farce the NHS! We're supposed to be urgent as his last failed hearing test showed significant detoriation of his hearing Sad
But other than that not much else to report from the world of Buddha
How is everyone else? Smile

Turkelton · 22/08/2011 04:35
