hi ladies
hippo test test test
im feeling blue today i know i will get wobbles maybe more than the average bear but i hate feeling like things are destined to go pear shaped i did a cheapie and it was BFN aswell so that wont help either but im inclined to believe, going by my massive and very sore ( @ )( @ )'s and tiredness etc, that things may be progressing as i didnt have any of those symptoms when i had my last BFPs and AF is late etc its all a matter of waiting it out i guess things cant just be easy can they!!!
hope everyone is ok and not getting sick of my drama already

Fruitbatlings · 04/01/2010 14:49

I'm not coming back until HIPPO yes you HIPPO does a test

Fruitbatlings · 04/01/2010 18:52

I know I said I wasn't coming back but remember I said a while ago about that girl on my ante natal thread who had her baby boy about 4 weeks before I had J? Her TWINS are due any day now Makes me feel slightly nauseous......
I only had a quick peek at the post natal version of that thread and I'm so pleased I stayed well out of that one. Reminds me of one of those competitive "Look how advanced my baby is" NCT groups. I hate all that crap.
I like the "competitive stunting of ability" way of thinking. Keep them babies for as long as possible, I say!

Panda sorry to hear that you are feeling down. It really IS happening and it most definitely has not been easy for you my dear. How about you test again with a non-cheapie, non-CBD and see what it says..? Hopefully that will put your mind at rest.

Fruit did that madwoman get PG as soon as she gave birth ? Yikes !!! I'm afraid there is no way that I can test until after Wed. I have spent most of today blubbing at the thought of handing my wee man over to nursery , am so upset. I have no idea how I'm going to cope tomorrow. He is only in for an hour or so but am still in bits !!! I then have my first day at work on Wed . Once we have passed those hurdles I'll test if AF has not appeared.

havingagiraffe · 04/01/2010 20:38

I was popping in to tell panda to stop testing- you'll only drive yourself mad and to tell Hippo to test - you'll only drive yourself mad BUT scrap that.....

....instead am sending you both lots of love and happy thoughts to get you through.

Hippo I am sure he will be fine and that the thought of leaving him will be worse than the act. Please don't cry sugar xx (says she who misses N when she goes for a morning shopping and for a massage )

PandaEisGOTABFP · 04/01/2010 20:46

@ giraffe i am already mad so i will probably just drive myself further into the madness i know i shouldnt test but its a sickness...i cant help it i told hyena earlier that i am getting rid of the cheapies in favour of more expensive/better tests but no testing until at least the weekend so that would make me 5+ weeks and it should definitely stay +ve by then and not be so confused failing that i am not going to do another test at all until i am past 6 weeks and i am going to keep on with the asprin and call the consultant next week. they wouldnt be able to see me until 6 weeks for a scan anyway and i am taking what they would have given me anyway im in no rush lies all lies

PandaEis · 05/01/2010 14:00

hi ladies

things dont look good bad cramps and back pain and then bleeding overnight. im thinking it was another CP shite!!

Fruitbatlings · 05/01/2010 14:22

ei surely they will do something to help you now? It's been too much heartache for you. They can't let you carry on like this xxx

hippopotamum · 05/01/2010 20:50

Panda I second what Fruity says - they have to help you now and do some proper investigations. You know you can get PG, they need to help you stay PG - maybe low progesterone or something, have they tested for that ? It is easily fixed. Big hugs to you xx

Impala · 05/01/2010 23:17

Panda Really sorry to hear this news I agree with what Fruity and Hippo said, you must be offered help now, you can't carry on suffering this sort of heartache I can't remember where your consultant is based, but isn't there a special centre at a hospital in Liverpool which deals with CP/early mc? Can you ask to be referred there? I remember a lady on the mc avengers thread was being seen by a consultant there. Big hugs to you.
Hippo Hope you and E got on ok at nursery today. It does get easier I promise, although it's still gut-wrenching to leave them and you do miss them terribly. He's in good hands though and will be having fun.
Hi to everyone else xx

Meeeow · 06/01/2010 12:16

ei so sorry hon hope you get the help you need.

Hyena · 06/01/2010 13:01

Panda Sending you so much love. You know where I am if you need to talk. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hippo I remember when L started creche - it broke my heart to leave her but she soon settled in and I could see how much she enjoyed it. First few weeks will be hard but you'll both get used to it very quickly and you'll appreciate your time together so much more. Hope you're ok - any more spotting?

Sorry I've not been around much - time seems to pass so quickly when L is off school. She was supposed to be back today but it's a snow day so we've been building snowmen instead. I've been having a few probs with the BF - i'm finding it so much harder this time. We're having lots of green poo which is down to a latch problem - luckily my friend's mum is a BF coach so we went through all of the reasons to have green poo and it seems he's getting too much air when he's feeding. The way I position him is fine but my let down is very fast and he struggles to breathe just through his nose. On the plus side, he's now over 12lb so is piling on the weight despite latch problem and I'm not sore so I'll just have to keep playing around with his latch when he's feeding (if I can find some time just to feed and not do a million other things at the same time!).....

We're off for first set of injections this pm. Wish us luck .

Love to all xxxx

PandaEis · 06/01/2010 14:22

hi ladies

thanks for being so supportive you ladies are wonderful xx

well i lost ALOT of clots last night and more this morning!! i dont know what to make of it TBH as it feels different to the other CPs and i have had alot more pain this time too the consultant wh i see is the one in the recurrent MC clinic as the infertility one wont help me at all unless i pay. i have never had a day 21 test as my ov is so irregularly placed in my cycle that the infertility cons. said it wouldnt be possible to do it i am going to get a GP apointment to discuss things and see what to do next. i am thinking about how i would feel to only have sian and maybe just stopping trying altogether. its not doing my health any good to be so up and down i need to talk to people who have made this decision i think. have any of you with one, decided to stick at one?? im finding it hard at the mo so objective opinions would do me good i think
hi to everyone xx

hippopotamum · 06/01/2010 22:00

Panda how are you feeling missus ? Did you start a new thread about having one child ? I'm sure there are loads of people on MN who can help. Also, if you temp then you ov know exactly when you ov therefore 7 days later is your 'day 21'(i.e. 7 days after the average ov of 14 days) so there is no reason why day 21 bloods can't be done just because you have irregular cycles - If I were you I'd push for this as it may be a simple issue that can be resolved. Know your stuff and don't let them fob you off xx

Thanks for asking about E's first day at nursery. It went really well. he is a chilled out wee chap and loved playing with the toys - there was a small kitchen which he loved as he could open and close the doors without being told off !! He was only in for 1.5 hours but goes back tomorrow for 3 hours. I had first day at work today (DS at his gran's), it went ok, not much fun but bearable

hippopotamum · 07/01/2010 13:31

sorry, I completely forgot to say that AF arrived yesterday. Perfect timing, first day at work with terrible cramps grrr...

Meeeow · 08/01/2010 08:16

Can't stop 'I' is screaming! Not crying just screaming intently she is such a madam!! But wanted to say hi! I'm following the thread again, love to all

havingagiraffe · 08/01/2010 08:59

How are you Panda? Am so for you. Can't believe that this is happening again and totally see why you may want to stop the up and down and enjoy S & S.

I guess it's hard when you've planned more than one and even if you gave up would you really give up iykwim. Can't advise as far to early in N's life to be making such decisions but am sure you'll find plenty of people on MN with experiences here.

Until then just know we are thinking of you and sending you lots of lovexx

Hippo Yuk, going back to work, what a wrench! Glad that E coped well, I had no doubt he would. Were there tears? (from you )

Hi to everyone else. Try to catch up later as DP home today so may get 5 mins to myself

Fruitbatlings · 10/01/2010 17:14

Have you all got the FB meet up message/conversation?

PandaEis · 10/01/2010 18:26

hi ladies
all ok here. we (me and DH) were hit quite hard this time and have decided to take a little break from intensive TTC and just got with the we'll see approach i feel ok about it to be honest it is a relief to lift the worry for a month or two and well, you never know eh?
glad AF turned up for you giraffe but booo for the cramps
hi to everyone else

Fruitbatlings · 11/01/2010 11:11

I so hope you get a nice little surprise soon ei xxx

For anyone who isn't getting the FB messages, Meeeow suggested Swindon. How does that sound to everyone?

We've finally sold our Jeep! Bought it for £1400 a yr and a half ago. Put it on Ebay a few months ago, luckily with a reserve as it would have gone for £700. This time, we didn't put a reserve on, just would have been happy to get anything for it as it's costing so much per month on insurance/petrol.
It went for £1570

Just waiting in for the guy to come and collect it and give me a nice wad of casharooney. Going to buy a cheap diesel car just so DH can get to work.

Also, we're planning to go to Mexico for DS1's birthday with our friends who have a DD the same age (it'll be her birthday too)
Going for 4/5 star, two weeks, all inclusive! I can't bloody wait, been far too long since I last had a holiday. In fact, the last package holiday I went on was with my ex BF to Tunisia about 10 years ago! Been to Spain since but not the same as a proper holiday without inlaws!

Fruitbatlings · 11/01/2010 11:14

Just seen the most gorgeous pictures of Nemo's little T!!!! BEAUTIFUL!

PenguinPoo · 11/01/2010 12:31

Panda I know we've "spoken" by text but just to reiterate how I am about your news, you must be so frustrated. I see you have decided to give intense TTC a miss for a while, I hope it brings you some peace and a surprise successful BFP I agree with Hippo they can still do your 21 day bloods so don't let them fob you off!
Hippo How is work and nursery going? Has E settled in well?
Fruity What brilliant news on the jeep Well done you!
Hyena Thanks for all your advice

I am enjoying the joys of a baby carrier at the moment, I can type with two hands and do housework, fantastic! E seems to enjoy sleeping in it too! Got my (delayed) 6 wk check this week, health visitor wants GP to confirm whether E has got reflux problems, we are dealing with rather a lot of sick, wind and a very grumpy baby that doesn't sleep much due to pain Bless him, we have put books under his moses basket and brought him some expensive magic bottles and things seem to be a little better so we'll see what happens.
Huge wave to everyone else x

PandaEis · 11/01/2010 13:13

hi ladies
thanks for the well wishes DH and i had another talk last night and he is definitely happy for a break i had a few worries about how he felt as he was quite quiet when we were talking about it the other day ahh well we are going to enjoy our...ahem...adult time again and try not to worry about things. we havent had any time off TTC since our honeymoon in september 2007 so i think it will help us reconnect and relieve some of the stress TTC brings we are not going to even talk about babies for at least this cycle so this will be the last time i talk TTC here too for a while (wont you lot be relieved to hear that haha)
on another subject, i am getting back onto my diet now that the christmas binge period is over i started today and up to now i dont feel too bad so you lot may meet a new svelte Ei at the meet-up in feb
as i said on Fb, Dh is planning on driving us to wherever it is so have we come to a decision yet?? gloucester is good for us as is oxford, swindon and possibly cheltenham (i will need to have a look on a map for that one though) we will be booking a hotel room for the night and i want to book it soon while it is cheap so shall we try and have the city nailed down by maybe the weekend?? where is the most central for everyone?? we will have a 4 hour or so drive either way i think so whatever is furthest north would be potentially the shortest journey for us without making the journey much longer for everyone else?? does that make any sense??
hello to everyone lurking
xx ei xx

havingagiraffe · 15/01/2010 07:36

We are now on page 2 !!!!

How are we all doing? Snowy or if you are Mamafox probably sweltering.

Am eagerly awaiting my iphone so then I will be stalking you all far more effectively!

Fruitbatlings · 15/01/2010 09:28

Page 32, you mean giraffe, surely? You will adore your iPhone! I'm currently sitting in sainsburys cafe mning over a bowl if porridge
got a text from wolverine, she says hello to everyone. Am meeting her for a catch up and a cuddle of little F in a couple of weeks
I cannot wait for our trip to Oxford. I just really hope no one has to drop out, we've had a couple of fairly bad turn outs haven't we. Such a shame we can't get everyone together. I think when Mamafox comes over, we should all get together. Sans enfants would be even better and we could make a night of it!
Better go and get a few bits from sainsbos and head off to playgroup to meet meeeow cheerio!
