hi ladies
hyena DH and i had a bet whether you would have the baby by tomorrow i think maybe not for a day or so more and DH said he thinks the little fella will be here by 12 midnight he owes me a pound if you dont give birth by then haha hope you are well
penguin hope you are feeling well are the crutches helping at all?
meeow sorry yu have a crazy neighbour!! we have one too so you have my sympathies ours is the 'sit on her arse and let her 8 year old son run riot at 1 am' type of crazy
hi to everyone else
i cant believe we have some first birthdays here happy birthday to impala's E there are more so close!! i feel like an old panda haha
DH has been a sweetie tody i had breakfast in bed and then he dropped me off at work and came home and CLEANED!!! then he picked me up and had made me a roast to come home to with cake for pud!! and then he sat me down with a glass of rose and a wispa caramel and a good film i am AMAZED!! he has asked me if we could try harder for a baby as he "really wants to see his baby and we have waited long enough" he has been full of surprises today

Still here ladies. Had half a glass of wine last night and slept like a log - was great to only get up once for the loo.
DD doesn't go to school on a Mon so we're off to visit my parents before a trip to Tesco ... she's such a lucky girl!
Penguin How are you feeling today lovely?
Meeeow I was a week late wasn't she? I'm rubbish at remembering when LOs came along.
Panda I think you might win a quid. Put your bet on Fri 13th. That's where mine has been all along. So glad you're being spoilt.
Giraffe Good luck with the preps. Hope all goes to plan.

Three sleeps til induction and am still happy to be pregnant. Maybe there's something wrong with me (apart from the obvious!!). I would have been overdue by two weeks twice by the time this LO comes out. That's an extra four weeks of pregnancy without including m/c. I obviously have a comfy womb....

Meeeow · 10/11/2009 09:23

Giraffe oooh 'I' is being baptised on Sunday!! crap, hadn't even thought about my outfit!!! aaaaghh....oh and 'big up' (kid speak) the country house notion

oh ei how lovely is your DH!!! beeping neighbours eh! mine lets her two teeny ones run riot too! the 1 year old escaped throught the open front door and ran down the main road! she didn't even notice!!!! a stranger brought him back

Hyena your womb sounds very comfy! lol I was 8 days late, she came on her original due date!

I'm panicking now that I see how organised Giraffe is about N's baptism in 2 weeks, I's is OMG 5 days!!!!

Hyena Daily update today? Good luck with third s&s today - ouch Just think 2 more sleeps and it's induction day! You'll be holding your LO by the weekend (and able to watch all your TV!)

Well I can now say I'm finishing work a week on Friday, now that sounds bloody good! They are looking after me lots, fetching me cups of tea etc, but it's not as comfy as my sofa I'm OK most of the time but about 2/3 times a day I get an excrutiating pain on the inside of my leg and I can't even lift it an inch, I really didn't know about this side of pg and I have to say that it's really putting me off trying again

Hyena · 10/11/2009 10:04

Daily update and guess what?! I'm still here. 11 days over today and sat waiting for the MW. Not sure I want a third sweep considering the last two haven't shifted him a cm. I'm already fed up of my lady garden being public property and I'm not even labouring .
Penguin Start counting the sleeps until maternity leave. It'll be here before you know it. x
Meeeow As long as you've booked the baptism and sent the invites you'll be fine. Are you having drinks afterwards?

Hyena · 10/11/2009 11:11

MW been and gone and she did a THIRD sweep. It was the same one as Friday - prob mid to late 50s and very experienced. I want to keep her - she makes the s&s so bareable whereas the one on Sunday was early 20s and I wanted to kick her in the teeth.
Little change - too much protein in wee but blood pressure not too high. Two sleeps til Thurs.

PenguinPoo · 10/11/2009 11:18

Hyena So pleased this one was better than the last, can't you lock her in a cupboard and keep her until Thursday x

Hyena · 10/11/2009 11:53

I wish I could - I'm more than happy for her to have a rummage around...that sounds SO WRONG!

PenguinPoo · 10/11/2009 13:12

Yuck

Hyena · 10/11/2009 16:34

You'll be greatful when the time comes Penguin.

havingagiraffe · 10/11/2009 19:42

I second that Yuk and raise you an Eeeeewwwww

Hyena · 11/11/2009 09:26

An update at last. Waters went at 6am and contractions quite regular. Have to go in at midday for trace or before in not coping. Will stay in touch.

Impala · 11/11/2009 09:59

Oooh, things are moving at last Hyena So exciting! Will check back in later to see if anybody has posted an update as I don't think you have my mobile no. Hope all goes well and I'm pleased you've avoided an induction. Not long now and you'll be holding your DS in your arms...
Sorry my enclosure has been empty for a while, I just don't know where the time goes these days and I'm forever chasing my own tail. All is well though, apart from E having yet another cold this week poor thing. No walking yet but I'm in no real hurry for her to do so - it's hard work keeping up with her crawling!
Penguin So sorry to hear you're in such pain. I must admit I had never heard of SPD before becoming pg and joining MN and it really does sound awful I can well imagine it would put you off from trying again, but I would ask your physio and see if there is anything they could recommend (exercises?) prior to a subsequent pregnancy. Bet you can't wait to be on mat leave!
Hippo I realised I never answered your question about E's piano - it's from the ELC and so far the noise hasn't been too annoying! The volume button can be turned right down and she doesn't know how to turn it up at the moment. My views may change in due course! She does love it though.
Meeow Hope I's baptism goes well on Sunday. How about Next for your outfit - you can order online and it will be with you the next day. Alternatively if you fancy going to the shops I got a nice skirt and embroidered fitted cardie from Coast for E's naming day. Hope all goes well anyway.
Same for you Giraffe, although you've got a bit of time yet. It will all come together on the day
Hello to everyone else!

PenguinPoo · 11/11/2009 11:12

Hyena At last No Friday 13th baby for you then, damn will have to think of new non-devil related names now! As I said this morning, thinking of you, push lots and look forward to an update later x
Impala The physio has already said SPD is usually worse with subsequent babies, not much you can do unfortunately, but then things are never easy in life. But you're right I can't wait for a week Friday, I am off tomorrow for scan so just 6 working days to go and everytime someone asks me at work I just grin stupidly!

Meeeow · 11/11/2009 13:33

Hyena!!! Fantastic news hon!! So glad it all kicked off naturally for you, bet that was a welcomed suprise?! Oooh what are you doing now! (I don't actually expect you to answer by the way) good luck xxx
