Also, the one I have is old style - is there much difference? Is it still hemp on the outside?

4andnotout · 06/06/2009 22:12

jenny have sorted them out and they are both vgc, new style which have the pull out tongue and pocket for boosting, one is pink hearts poppers the other is turquoise applix. DD4 is 7 months and is still in the smalls comfortably and would fit in them for a while yet. I would want £5 posted each as i haven't had them long but have just sorted all the nappies out and i have 5 bbh's 5 bumhuggers and 1 baby bufters and as i wash every day i don't need so many! If you want them my paypal is [email protected]
My dining table is now full of stacks of nappies, dp is a bit like this as he didn't know about all the udos's

JennyPenny22 · 07/06/2009 09:37

Thanks, I will have them please. Am in a bit of a hurry now, but can I paypal you later? Did you still have the MEOS snap in booster? Sorry I completly forgot about it, I only just noticed when I was sorting out all my nappies that I want to dye and realised some still didn't have boosters and I remembered that you had one that I was meant to Pay you the postage for! If it has gone then no problem as I know I have taken forever to get back to you! But just thought if you still had it then maybe it could go in the same parsel as the bumhuggers.

Elouise is wearing a bumhugger now, as a day nappy. It is an old style one though. It is fine but always feels bumpy when she is wearing it.

Rachel - if we try out the ones from 4 as soon as they arrive then as long as they last the night ok then I will have yours too if thats ok? Feel free not to save them for me though as I am not 100% yet.

JennyPenny22 · 08/06/2009 09:11

JennyPenny22 · 08/06/2009 09:12

Do I owe anybody else on here anything? I am getting muddled up with all the buying and selling!

4andnotout · 08/06/2009 15:17

4 sorry I forgot about that! Will do it now. Sorry I didn't do it before hand!

JennyPenny22 · 08/06/2009 19:34

Who was it that wanted a medium airflow? I have finally found one! It is brand new if your still looking?

twoclimbingboys · 08/06/2009 20:04

i'm really irritated - DH very kindly ordered me more large bamboo sandys (we are romantic with our gifts to each other - lol)from tree hugger mums a week and a half ago. They still hadn't arrived so he emailed them only to find out they have run out & hadn't bothered telling him. He got a refund but I love bamboo sandys and really wanted more (they were only £5.40)!!!

Anyone selling any bamboo sandys?

I realise i'm ridiculously peeved about it but it has just topped off the day from hell in work.

JennyPenny22 · 08/06/2009 22:46

Oh no! That is a good price too! I might have to get some if they get them back in! I have never ever seen bamboo sandys preloved i'm afraid (or I would have snapped them up! Lol).

I have had a sort through and going to be listing loads of wraps. I have ME in small, medium and M/L. Both Airflows and rikkis. Also lots of newborn wraps and some smalls. And other random ones too. So if anybody is looking for wraps, let me know - I have a whole box full!

Does anybody know - if you are selling one indervidually, would you get away with just popping it in a small envelope with a standard first class stamp on? I HATE going to our post office, especially now we have 2 LOs. It is rediculous and TBH it takes up half a day! Just trying to think of a way to sell all these wraps without spending loads of time in the P.O!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 08/06/2009 22:55

jenny: regarding postage, I'm afraid you wouldn't get away with merely a first class letter stamp. What is likely to happen is the person you send it to will receive a card in the mail saying something was sent without enough postage and they have to pay a 1 quid handling fee, as well as the extra postage - and go to the post office to pick it up! However, you can get "large letter" stamps - so for a single wrap, provided it's in thin enough packaging, and weighs under 100 grams, you can just stick one of those stamps on. They look similar to ordinary stamps, but are a bit more expensive, larger, and say "large letter" on them. What you're allowed to send with a mere ordinary stamp has to be very thin indeed - ever since they brought in the sizing rules a few years ago.

Hope that helps!

JennyPenny22 · 08/06/2009 23:13

Thank you rachel - that definatly helps. Shame as I have loads of normal stamps! I will get some large letter ones! Would hate for the buyer to have to pay extra!

4andnotout · 08/06/2009 23:15

rachel the wipes pieces came today and are fantastic, i now have apple scented wipes

thebluefoxategreensocks · 08/06/2009 23:54

oh good 4! Hope you get more use from them than I did! LOL I love the idea - just too lazy to mix up solution!

4andnotout · 09/06/2009 10:17

We get through boxes of wipes everyday, i mix a solution every morning and put about 25 wipes in and still need to do more by the afternoon/evening We do use them for hands and faces (and quickly wiping the tv and furniture )
We now have monkey fart scented wipes

Hoping for some fluffy post today, i have a udos coming and another parcel containing a purple itti and a bbh hemp

TheLadyEvenstar · 09/06/2009 11:33

4andnotout · 09/06/2009 11:44

Hi TLES

We are all lamenting the lack of bbh bamboo's on secondhand sites, although greenbaby have 9 brand new in stock but i don't really want to spend that much!

ceb80 · 09/06/2009 15:15

Rachel forgot to let you know the wraps arrived last week thank you!

Jen twas me after the med airflow, have since bought some from rachel but might be tempted by another... what colour and how much?

Welcome back TLES

JennyPenny22 · 09/06/2009 18:19

I have 2 used but in EUC plain white one and a brant new print one - I think its frogs but will check if you are interested, Would like £4 posted I guess.

Am I the only one who sometimes agrees to swap for things and then wonders why you did it? I have had things through and as soon as I open them, I realise I would have been better off selling and getting something I actually wanted!! But it always seems a good idea at the time!

Got 3 more BBH today, making 6 in total. I am using them at nights on Talia at the moment but hoping to use th bumhuggers instead when they arrive. Would like to keep the BBH for when we go out as they are a good fit on both the girls (would take boosters out for Talia in the daytime to avoid bulk). I am using disposables a lot of the time when we are out but only because taking 2 sets of washables out means a big nappy bag which drives me up the wall. But if we get enough BBH then I can just take some of them instead of 2 seperates. We do have loads of MEOS but they are very bulky for Talia I think.

JennyPenny22 · 09/06/2009 19:44

Can everybody else get on CNT? Just want to know if its my PC or the site. That site seems to have a lot of problems! Getting a different message to usual though.

twoclimbingboys · 09/06/2009 19:54

Hi all

jenny - i can get on to cnt. Treehuggermums have the bamboo sandys in toddler size - they would probably be an ok fit on Eloise, and are only £6.75 each. I have just ordered 4 (from Pete's account as its my birthday in a few days) on the off chance they won't swamp Blake. I can always keep them until they do fit - he is huge and has a massive backside like his mummy!

4andnotout · 09/06/2009 20:24

jenny i can't get on CNT either I take onesized nappies when we go out as it is so much easier than sized, mainly bbos, udos or my last couple of bamboo easyfits. My napppy bag is huge though as i usually take 6 or 8 nappies plus a tupperware box of reusable wipes.
Did you get a bad swap then? I have had that a few times.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 09/06/2009 21:20

jenny: I've recently been thinking about one-sized fitted nappies to use when we're out, just to make it a bit easier. I have quite a few already - several hemps ones: BBH hemp, Mamabless (very similar to BBH but less heavy/bulky and more flexible), and Growing Greens. All of them work well for Benjamin (very absorbant) and also can work quite slim for Clement too. But others like Swaddlebees ocv one-sized is good (though I prefer it for Clement - lovely night nappy in fact!). I've found that nippa size 2 Bamboozles fit both boys perfectly too!

Btw, anyone here tried Blueberry fitted nappies? I bought 2 yesterday (preloved) - they're also one sized, and are cotton velour. Hopefully they'll come tomorrow.

JennyPenny22 · 09/06/2009 21:36

Have you tried ay bamboo sandys yet TCB? Wasn't sure if you had any already? Just wondering how bulky they are? I am trying to downside Elouise's cloth bum as none of her clothes fit! She has short legs and a big tummy so getting trousers to fit is hard enough already! She is in dresses most of the time - but on days like today when we were at soft play all afternoon we could do with being able to wear trousers! So she ended up in a disposables!
