Essie having no luck selling?? i was so looking forward to getting them too. lol and some lovely bamboozles from BBM!!! will let you know if i can afford any when dust settles, if theyre still there ( BBM too).

BigBadMousey · 02/10/2008 22:09

I had to wait weeks for DS to wee all over me after he was born . I spent 30 weeks looking forward to it then he held out - I think he was shy

Yeah...no one wants my bamboozles or airflows . I would give them away if I could afford to Rusmum.

Yeah, still not shifting. I'm willing to take the price down quite a lot for you but shhhhh. Mind you, your DH might hit the roof if he discovers that one of your first acts on hearing the bad news is to spend money on nappies... (Although argue that my super-cheap ones are saving loads on dispos!)

sunflower78 · 02/10/2008 22:11

rusmum - I started late with DS, he was a chunky 18mo by then and used to take them off if he felt they were too bulky, so went back to disposables and only used cotton bottoms when his nappy rash got really bad (hadn't discovered the real nappy world varieties then, just what I saw in shops and cotton bottoms were the cheapest after terry squares...), they also leaked , but then again didn't know much about reusables and only did padfold, definetly didn't use them enough to justify the money spent on them!

babyjjbaby · 02/10/2008 22:11

Essie, I have one of each. boy wee fountains are great....whereas girls do stealth wees. you change them, do up the poppers in their vest, and then when you pick them up realise they are wet from bum to the top of their heads. A good tip when changing girls is to have the changing mat slightly uphill towards the head to limit the spread

rusmum · 02/10/2008 22:17

now my printer is broken!!!!

rusmum · 02/10/2008 22:17

and been up all night ( and most of day) bouncing a colicky baby...

babyjjbaby · 02/10/2008 22:18

oh i would have had it if it had been medium rusmum have u gto anything to swap if u wanted my napys

Essie3 · 02/10/2008 22:19

BBM we must have some unpopular nappies or something. I thought my 'value pack' of 10 nappies and wraps for £50 was a good price and they're not that out of date! Also wish I could give them away, but again need something for them however little! (I made the mistake of spending money before I had it...naughty!)

Daisy LOL at the stealth wee! My current hobby is trying to catch the fountain in the top&tail bowl. I used to be an academic...

rusmum · 02/10/2008 22:19

Essie you are right he would go mad!! when does that ever stop us eh??
Let me know what you would like for them and if i can afford it i will take them. ([email protected])

Essie3 · 02/10/2008 22:20

Ceolas · 02/10/2008 22:29

rusmum, if you go over to Diaperswappers (US site), have a look on the "Diaper chatter and Q&A" board for advice on folds, etc.

One thread which might be usefulhere

Whatever you do, and this applies to all of you ladies, DO NOT look at the FSOT boards. You have been warned!

rusmum · 02/10/2008 22:34

newborn size, fold in 3 (long ways) then roll lega and fan back. think i need to use next size but these seen huge and have to fold up body then?? really bulky and leave red marks on her. not sure i am doing it right at all.

BigBadMousey · 02/10/2008 22:46
