AAAAHHH,used up all the Sandy's XS (haven't tried the size 1 yet as in my eagerness I ordered medium size wraps instead of small, and the XS really are too small for them , so need to order them now...) and also tried a fluffle (without insert cos it looked soooo big oon DD), and DP couldn't resist getting the camera out cos she looked so cute! Had 2 fleece liners and they definetly are my fav compared to paper, though the complimentary one life liners I was sent with the Sandy's are very soft!

Someone was looking for Sandy's, I got mine from friendlybaby.co.uk when they were on offer and got them 2 days after ordering.

Looking forward to try the pink wonderoo now... (becoming such an addict..)

AnnVan · 11/09/2008 20:45

ILMD - agree with you about the bulk of Fluffles, which is why I've only ordered a few to use as night nappies. Otherwise I have Bambinex Teddies which dry really quick, so handy as I have no tumble dryer, and the bambinex bamboos, which are lovely and slim, but as you say take forever to dry, but all bamboo nappies do! They come in colours as well. DP will kill me if I order any more nappies, I think.

BigBadMousey · 11/09/2008 21:08

ILOVEMYDOG Not much in it but if you take posTage into account this is your best bet. Most are £11 or £10.50 at best and loads don't stock or are out of stock.

just quickly popping in...I've been way too busy with my nesting the last few days to keep up.

Thanks Octo , I've had a few emails back and forward with the regional co-ordinator who seems really nice. They don't have anyone in my area so it should be a good business proposition. They also have links to a few other seller of baby stuff (PHP amongst others) and are doing a deal on the CLose Baby carrier which I wanted to buy.....so I think I'll go for it. Not sure I'll meet the flying start target, as it's all getting a bit close to my due date, but I'll give it a fair go

AnnVan......are you still here....minus baby . C'mon lass, get your skates on!

sunflower sounds like all is going well with your lovely DD. Glad you are enjoying the nappies

bambinex bamboo come in popper, aplix and nippa. I've used the nippa ones with no obvious detriment to the nappies, and sold them onto a friend when we switched to pockets. She hasn't mentioned any problems and she has been using them for over 6 months.

I am going to do a nappy sort out this weekend and get them listed on here first and then on usednappies. I need to fund my Lollipop career! I might need to mug you for your chatname lollipopmother

lollipop softees are lush, if a bit bulky. I wasn't impressed with my bambinex teddy, but thought the lollipop version was lovely. Their fleece micros are pretty good too. DH and I were both a bit at them, but surprisingly effective and wick a lot of the moisture away. Not too impressed with the wraps though as they seem very stiff.

AnnVan · 12/09/2008 08:44

Ha! my size 2 Fluffles arrived this morning. Yay. SO it must have been the Boocoo order that I missed yesterday. DP will go and collect on Saturday, altough it meant I had to admit that I bought some after all!

Heartmum2Jamie · 12/09/2008 12:59

Annvan, Can't beleive you are still here! Sending lots of "baby get a move on" vibes! God luck explaining the fluffles to your dp!

Right, I have a question! For nappies that are bought brand new, how many times should they be washed/dried to get up to full absorbancy? Does it vary from nappy to nappy? I feel a little obsessive about washing nappies, perhaps because they are so cute, plus as most of mine are pre-loved, they are all washed as soon as they come into the house and then I can probably leave them, but was wondering about the new ones.

Those nappies look really small Knickers, not bulky at all! I'm loving some of the pics you have of your LO 'eating'!! And the sleeping one is brilliant!

lollipop, annvan, sending you lots of baby vibes so you can start enjoying your nappies (and babies of course!) - just doing my first wash of nappies! need to hurry orderingmy small airflow (BBM - you were right of course, they def. are my fav on DD's tiny thighs) as she's already put on 200gm nd only 1wk old today! need to browse and look for cheaper options now (she says typing with left hand whilst breastfeeding the hugriest baby ever...)

lollipopmother · 12/09/2008 19:47

Thanks Sunflower! I think AnnVan is being induced tomorrow but I'm not sure, she was going to look in to maybe giving it another couple of days.

Knickers - Have you seen today's Tip of the Day!!?

LackaDAISYcal · 12/09/2008 19:59

sunflower78 · 12/09/2008 20:22

thanks daisy - will check now

AnnVan · 12/09/2008 21:43

Hey everyone, just checking in with you all. Had a horrible day today at the hospital, with them trying to convince me that baby's heart rate was dropping to make me have an induction. Ended up being monitored for afurther five hours and baby is fine!! (lying horrible consultant) They're still saying I have no choice but to be induced tomorrow. They were too busy to do it today. plan to negotiate for a bit more time

LackaDAISYcal · 12/09/2008 22:09

Good Luck for tomorrow AnnVan and hoping that things get going through the night and you don't need to be induced......hot curry, lots of pineapples and a bit of nipple tweaking from your DH and you'll be away

babyjjbaby · 12/09/2008 22:36

sunflower78 · 12/09/2008 23:56
