Almost 3
breakfast : a dunker , apple , toast and butter. Ate all apple and dunker and half toast
Lunch: a McDonald cheeseburger happy
meal - ate all
dinner- one pie chips and beans ate most
snacks - an apple and a tangerine, 4 breadsticks with a sour cream and chive dip with tomato sliced up

Tisfortired · 30/04/2024 20:07

16 months old;

B1 - banana and a slice of wholemeal toast (he gets up at the arse crack of dawn and this keeps him occupied while I have a cup of tea and come back to life 🥴)
B2 - porridge with a drizzle of honey and a few blackberries
L - chicken soup with half a slice of wholemeal bread ripped up into the soup and the other half buttered and turned into fingers for dipping
D - tuna pasta with sweet corn and cucumber on the side. Myself, DP and DS1 had Pizza Hut so the baby inevitably had a few wedges and nibbles of pizza 🫣

I also caught DS1 giving him some wagon wheel earlier…

Today (2yr 3m old):
Weetabix with whole milk
Wheat puffs in his snack pot
A sausage
Black grapes
Tube of peach yoghurt
Veggie crisps
Sugared ring doughnut
Leek and turkey sausage pasta (used a mix of normal bow pasta, chickpea fusilli, green pea penne, and red lentil & beetroot fusilli)

kikisparks · 02/05/2024 10:14

Yesterday was:

B- weetabix, chia seeds, peanut butter, grapes (ate half and all grapes)
S- strawberries, blueberries, Pom bears
L- beans and veggie sausage on toast - ate half toast, loads of sausage and decent amount of beans
S- biscuit and more fruit
D- corn on cob, spaghetti hoops, chips and a quorn dinosaur - ate most of corn and small amount of hoops and dino

She’s not eating so much just now so have been sticking with the favourites as we’ve had a lot of “don’t like dinner!” and refusal to even try.

2.5yo DS

Breakfast - 2.5 weetabix with chia seeds, a drizzle of honey and milk
No snack today, he was too buzzed to be back at one of our toddler groups after a bit of a break for one reason or another. He’d usually demolish a good pile of food there, but the toy tractors were just too exciting!

Lunch - cheese and ham wrap, half a bag of mini cheddars, cucumber, red pepper, grapes, apple slices
Afternoon snacks - 4 strawberries, a load of blueberries, the crust slice of bread (he got this himself 🙄), a pack of mini party rings, a banana
Tea - 1 sausage, beans and homemade potato wedges. Jelly, then yoghurt for afters 🤦🏼‍♀️
He will also have a banana and a cup of milk before bed

Ankylo · 02/05/2024 19:45

Purple smoothie for breakfast (plums and berries, but with hidden kale and carrots and a bit of ginger), yoghurt.
Lentil or rice cake for snack (nursery offer both, can't remember what DC chose).
Veggie pasta at nursery.
Shami kebab (lamb, peppers , onion, spices) with yoghurt.

Drank milk and water mostly but also had half a small fruit shoot (shared with me) after running around at an activity.

I'm pretty positive about today, for once.

ToddlerMama89 · 03/05/2024 21:22

We had a really good day today. He ate pasta for the first time in months!! Albeit he thought it was rice as it was orzo 😅 but I’m taking it as a win nevertheless as it was in a tomato sauce which also hasn’t been accepted for a long time.

B1: Crepe with jam, strawberries & half banana
B2: 1 Weetabix with ground seeds & ground almonds as he wanted mine so I got him his own
S: Whole bag of Veggie Straws & 4 mini Organix gingerbread men
L: Eggy bread (ate half), baked beans & cucumber
S: Raspberry & coconut bliss ball, half satsuma
D: Tomato & hidden veg orzo, cheese, half slice bread & butter (offered as a safe food!), melon
S: Banana, peanut butter & chocolate chip mini muffin

pbdr · 04/05/2024 20:08

My girl is feverish and miserable today, so good nutrition went down the drain and I just tempted her with whatever I could get her to take. She's had;

Calpol
A little piece of pancake
A small piece of ham sandwich
Some tinned mandarins
Some scrambled egg
A couple of spoonfuls of soy yoghurt
2 cups of soy milk
Some breast milk
Multivitamin
An After Eight

Given how poorly she is I don't think that's too bad at all.

Scirocco · 04/05/2024 21:44

That sounds pretty good @pbdr - I hope she feels better soon

kikisparks · 04/05/2024 21:53

B- rice crispies, strawberries and raspberries
S- melon, half croissant and a few Pom bears
L- offered lentil soup and fruit smoothie but didn’t want it, ate her roll and veggie sausage
D- offered mac n cheeze had a few spoonfuls through tears as “don’t like it” (wasn’t forced at all it’s just all that was out for her) then had a soya yoghurt pot and some toast

Been a bit rubbish at eating lately but she goes through these phases and hopefully will come into an “eats lots” phase again soon and can get more veg into her.

kikisparks · 05/05/2024 21:28

B- rice crispies, grapes and kiwi- ate none
S- slice toast, strawberries and 2 small cookies
L- veggie sausages, chips and beans, only ate chips and beans (in a cafe and sausages did look crap tbh)
S- satsuma
D- home made pizza (ate 2 slices) and corn on the cob (ate all), bit of chocolate for dessert

She was sick a little bit after her milk, hope she’s not coming down with something.

Scirocco · 05/05/2024 21:33

What was eaten:
Half a banana.
2 bites of an oatcake with sliced apricot.
A plain wafer.
Half a portion of chicken and sweet potato curry.

Drank milk and water.

What was rejected:
Porridge with a choice of toppings.
Smoothie.
Sweet potato salad (sweet potato, tomato, cucumber, onion, pepper, yoghurt).
Mac and cheese (with hidden veg).
Apple.

Oh well. Tomorrow's another day.
