I was officially back at work 1 Oct but am having the whole of Oct off because of accrued leave. YG, dd is red and sore too - tried to buy the famed metanium yesterday but the pharmacy said there are manufacturing problems or something - we ended up with Kamillosan.
Tickle - your business venture sounds great

No probs - it's really nice of you to have offered it to me!

Not really - and she's going for a trial session with the childminder on Tues - eek!

I'm hoping that dd's childminder will manage to get some down her if I'm not there. DH has tried, and friends too - dd just plays with the bottle though, chews on the teat and then turns in.
On the plus side, she is sleeping better again after a bad 2-3 weeks. It was due to a combination of a cold and teething I think.

Once during the night I can cope with - well, depends when during the night! DD was waking a few times though, it was exhausting!

What time will you have to be up and out of the house next week? I am trying to work out the latest I can get up, feed dd and myself, get dressed and get out of the house in time to drop dd with the childminder around 8. DH will be taking ds to school so at least I don't have to get him ready as well.

hope you don't think i was being flippant on that thread!

I was wondering about the breakfast thing - will your childminder give it?

hewlettsdaughter · 24/10/2004 22:58

Must have been

hewlettsdaughter · 24/10/2004 22:59

I really should go to bed...

Think I might suggest my childminder gives dd breakfast - she has to take her own dd to school across the road from her though so I'm mindful of the fact that her morning is busy too..
G'night! Nice to chat.

She hasn't had breakfast yet (still working up to it) so I'm sure that would be fine.

hewlettsdaughter · 24/10/2004 23:04

I'm really going now!

morning all. Hope you all had a good night.
Ours wasn't too bad although dd did wake up a bit early and ended up playing with her rubber ducks on the floor of the bathroom while I had a shower - she is normally sleeping while I shower.
Great weekend well it would have been as long as I see dd and dh for the whole weekend. I've been so down ended up in tears with some girlfriends on Saturday brunch and on the phone with my mum on Sunday morning. Hopefully it'll go away soon although I felt it all coming on again this morning when I looked at dd and she was staring and grinning at me as she sat in her pushchair waiting to go out the door.
On a better note it looks like dh is trying to arrange for me and dd to join him for a business trip to New York in November so hopefully that'll come off it will be nice to get a break.
