I am secretly very unreasonable about people who live in cities who do not vaccinate their children.

I an very unresonable about prople who think small an dlive near pylons

LynetteScavo · 27/04/2007 20:58

Not using correct child restraints in cars. I really want to flag them down, and point out what could happen to their child.

hana · 27/04/2007 21:00

great name lynette, love her character on dh!

Thankyou Hana, I've just changed it. People seem to think I'm American now!

hana · 27/04/2007 21:25

wouldn't be a bad thing would it??!!

MrsGumby · 27/04/2007 21:28

Smoking in the house/car when kids are around.

somewibblywobblybits · 27/04/2007 21:28

I am very unreasonable about parents who give their kids stupid names which do not sound like they're spelt.

MissGolightly · 27/04/2007 21:37

People who dress their children far too warmly. I hate seeing a poor little 6 mo in a shopping centre, hat, gloves, anorak, booties, snuggle-toes, scarlet in the face, while mum has taken off her own coat and cardy and is swanning around in a shirt. I always want to say something but never dare.

And "baby-on-board" signs secretly irritate me, though I would never tell any of my friends as they all have them. I truly have no idea why, but I find them totally offensive (I realise this is irrational). The only thing worse is "mother-to-be on board" signs. You might as well have one saying "huge fertile testicles full of sperm on board" or "me and my family deserve more consideration than the childless couple in front of us so please try to steer into them when you have a heart attack".

moondog · 27/04/2007 21:39

Expensive designer shit

Crap food

rantinghousewife · 27/04/2007 21:40

People who 'hot house' their children before they get to school and then stand complaining at pre-school teacher about how substandard the education is! They're 4 ffs.

Mercy · 27/04/2007 21:41

What do you mean by exercises?

MissGolightly · 27/04/2007 21:43

You know - get worked up about, get cross over.

theUrbanDryad · 27/04/2007 21:49

MissGolightly....just read your post to dh. we are now laughing.

i hate hearing parents tell their children that they're "idiots" or hearing a mother call her 18mo baby a "bitch" because she threw her bottle on the floor.

MissGolightly · 27/04/2007 22:10

Please don't tell me you have a sign!

I agree about people being horrible to their children. I want to scoop them up and whisper that they're lovely really.

Londonmamma · 27/04/2007 22:23

I don't like hearing children speak really rudely to their parents and the parents just accepting it. I don't like children interrupting their parents and for the parent not to say 'just a moment please'. I don't like seeing children kick or hit their parent and the parent not REALLY react to this.

theUrbanDryad · 27/04/2007 22:24

no, we don't have a sign

i actually believed the urban myth about them, till i saw this. and dh pointed out that, really, the car seat was a better indicator of having a baby on board.

maisemor · 27/04/2007 22:25

Parents who let their children stay out to play after 20.00 on a school night. No way can that be good for the children. I feel so sorry for the teachers who have to deal with overtired narkies the next day.

Once when I was going to bed around 23.00 there were still children aged between 4 to 15 out playing in the street.

DeviousDaffodil · 27/04/2007 22:26

Cheeky monkey/ Little Princesss on Board - vomit!

MissGolightly · 27/04/2007 22:28

I love that explanation! Yes, because a crash that detached the baby and car seat from the car would obviously leave a titchy sign suckered onto the windscreen...?

theUrbanDryad · 27/04/2007 22:30

i think that the emergency services might've noticed a baby seat as well...

elasticbandstand · 27/04/2007 22:35

i never liked Baby on Board, until I had my own, couldnt resist. don't like the others though, little miss bossy or something.

swearing at children,

MrsJohnCusack · 27/04/2007 22:53

oh I want MissGolightly's 'huge fertile testicles full of sperm on board' sign.
fantastic

Nightynight · 27/04/2007 22:56

I hate parents who complain to the teacher that he/she isnt setting enough homework.

christywhisty · 27/04/2007 22:57

Kids riding in the basket of supermarket trolleys instead of the seats. Not safe & not hygenic.

hana · 27/04/2007 23:04

what about twins on board and toddler on board
gag
