All those who snigger at the:

checkout woman said why not give her a biscuit
shocked at lunchbox contents
eating at McDonalds is on a par with registering them in an al queda training camp
HV suggested a bottle (gasp)
Coke is the work of the devil

Hope springs eternal Mosschops.

mummydear · 20/06/2006 22:14

If England get through to the final then it will be a good omen that they won it 40 yrs ago. The final is also on my 40th . I have a feeling in my water or is that the cystitis ??

mosschops30 · 20/06/2006 22:16

Grin I said the feeling in my water thing to dh and he said 'yeah you always say that when you're map reading too'

I am starting work next week, so will pretend to hate football throughout whole placement so they will think nothing of it when I chuck a sickie when england get to the final

Sorry mosschops, posted without reading the thread only first post and was surprised it was you. Thing is, so many people genuinely think this and it could easily have been genuine (I realised after I read it it wasn't, but was too busy with Owen's injury to come back last night). Agree HV's get a slagging here. (But can't really feel any sympathy for them, heard too many negative stories to believe it's a few bad apples tbh). Anyway, will try and read whole thread before posting, but so many of them in the last few days have been 350 plus in five minutes!
