All those who snigger at the:

checkout woman said why not give her a biscuit
shocked at lunchbox contents
eating at McDonalds is on a par with registering them in an al queda training camp
HV suggested a bottle (gasp)
Coke is the work of the devil

OP posts:

You should all be ashamed of yourself
Youll all be on Rikki Lake soon with your obese unhealthy kids whos legs rub together eating 4 big macs a day

disgusting

southeastastra · 20/06/2006 18:26

we are all naturally slim and fit

PanicPants · 20/06/2006 18:26

Thanks foxinsocks, you've made me feel a lot better!

Read inthe paper today about all the 'healthy' things kids eat that have high salt content.

May as well only give him vegtables and fruit to be on the safe side....

Oh FFS tell me what's PC about objecting to Health Visitor's, the first port of call for vulnerable new mothers, undermining the best method of feeding a baby?

Are all you proud non-PC mums really saying that this front line of medical professionals dealing with new mothers being so utterly shit, is a Good Thing?

Because if so, you suffer from extremely low expectations.

Cod · 20/06/2006 18:29

woo ho caligula is on one
Grin

wannaBe1974 · 20/06/2006 18:31

well, my ds eats raw cake mixture after we've made a cake, runny egs, crisps, biscuits and chocolate, but ... never ate a jar of baby food in his life, ever. And we don't eat ready made sauces - I cook everything from scratch.

SenoraPostrophe · 20/06/2006 18:32

caligula has just posted almost word for word what I was going to post. Only I wouldn't have put the apostrophe in health visitors Wink

Cod · 20/06/2006 18:32

adn sp
they are in cahoots

wannaBe1974 · 20/06/2006 18:33

ScummyMummy · 20/06/2006 18:33

Snafu · 20/06/2006 18:33

Yay C'lig Grin

Mercy · 20/06/2006 18:36

Caligula, I think you've got the wrong end of hte stick here

handlemecarefully · 20/06/2006 18:38

Does anybody have any doubt regarding which camp I'm in?

foxinsocks · 20/06/2006 18:38

don't know what you're on about caligula

Caligula · 20/06/2006 18:46

I like being on one. I haven't been for ages. Wink

mousiemousie · 20/06/2006 18:48

no good pretending to be PC once you are a mother IMO

Anyway, significantly more fun to be non PC

Tinker · 20/06/2006 18:51

I absolutely adore Coke. Hardly drink it but adore it.

poppadum · 20/06/2006 18:59

if everyone joins this thread, who will we have to snigger at? Or Shock at?

PanicPants · 20/06/2006 19:02

Wonder how many of us are on this thread AND been on the other foodie threads banging on about how we only serve homemade, organic, sugar free, salt free, perservative free, taste free food?

foxinsocks · 20/06/2006 19:02
Smile
foxinsocks · 20/06/2006 19:03

that was for caligula!

PanicPants · 20/06/2006 19:07

I'm probably guilty :)

SenoraPostrophe · 20/06/2006 19:44

...but also I wanted to post that none of the things in the original post are actually PC anyway. people who are proud to be "un-pc" get on my tits at the best of times, but when in fact they just don't like people getting upset about things then it's even worse. you know where you are with the racist bastards.

and I do sometimes take the kids to mcdonalds btw

handlemecarefully · 20/06/2006 19:51

Blimey!

handlemecarefully · 20/06/2006 19:52

I think non pc was being used by mosschops as a kind of short hand rather than literal description [helpful clarification emoticon]
