Diolch cardibach for the idea!

I'm just getting started as a learner so that's my limit in Welsh so far!

This is where we can chat, use our Welsh as we are learning and give each other help/ advice/ encouragement, etc. Smile

Rwy'n teimlo'n gyffrous iawn heddiw achos rwy'n wedi darganfod mae'r teledu gallu dangos S4C er ein bod ychydig o gannoedd o filltiroedd i ffwrdd.

Oes rhywun yn gwybod enw'r rhaglen ar gyfer dysgwyr Cymraeg? Rwy'n gobeithio ei bod ar ddiwrnod pan dydw i ddim yn gweithio fel mae angen arna fi ymarfar

Helo. eatyourveg - mae modd gwylio rhaglenni S4C ar eu gwefan - S4C.co.uk/clic - (it's their 'on demand'/iPlayer type thingy) Grin. Mae 'Hwb' yna yn bendant.

alexpolismum · 16/11/2012 14:29

Helo mejon! Smile

Sut wyt ti? Dw i ddim wedi dy weld di ers amser hir.

Diolch yn fawr mejon Rwy'n wedi gwylio rhaglenni S4C ar clic y cyfrifiadur o'r blaen pan maen nhw wedi dangos pethau am fy mherthnasau ond dydw i ddim yn wedi gallu gwylio ar y teledu hyd yn hyn. Mi fydda i'n defnyddiol iawn especially as I'll be able to record things which I can't do using clic where the programmes are usually only available for 30 days. Sorry to switch languages, my vocab doesnt not extend that far.

Take a look at my thread in primary ed on deciding whether to send DS to welsh medium school ( which I am going to by the way). Shocking responses! Really irked me.
Anyhow, I'm committed to learning and progressing so you'll see me around! Grin

maishoffwcingras · 08/03/2013 20:09

smiling I've just read it, makes me so angry (although it's nothing I haven't heard a million times before). Da iawn all of you for making the effort to learn

alexpolismum · 09/03/2013 13:22

Hello!

Nice to see this thread come back to life. We've all been on another Welsh thread in Chat here it is if you want to join us!

I'm off to look for the thread in Primary ed now!

Smiling

I've been through your education thread. Sorry to see such negativity Sad. As a mum in a bilingual family, albeit not with Welsh, I just wanted to offer you some support. My children are being educated through the medium of a language that is not my native tongue. I also speak it, as I have lived here for years, but there are still cultural aspects that I find it hard to relate to. It's not always easy, but I do believe it is worth it.

I hope it goes well for you. Smile

maishoffwcingras · 09/03/2013 21:28

smiling (or any of you other learners) if you ever need any help from a native am happy to (try to) help. I only speak Gog Welsh so depending on where you are learning our vocab may be different. Good on you and thank you for respecting our language

alexpolismum · 09/03/2013 21:35

Diolch, mais

Ti'n garedig iawn. Os wyt ti'n moyn, dere at yr edefyn 'ma i ddweud helo!
